#1 usually wun tt early, unless placenta low etc..otherwise normal health situations usually for #1 wun early more than 1wk. of cos may not apply to all

Seems true for me. My #1 came out near wk 40 #2 also near wk 40. So #3 should also be near wk 40... Hehehe... The unknowns are the first time mummies cos no history to go back to (tat was my gynae's ans when i was preggy w no 1).

*sigh* I am having this terrible dry chest cough and i cannot seem to get to sleep. Any possible remedies? Seen GP just now and he prescribed me with some anti-biotics. Those of you who previously had coughs, what meds were you prescribed with?

Me too suffering from the worst terrible cough I ever had in my whole lifetime.. =( coughed till vomit n pee kind.. =( been on medication n anti for nearly 2 weeks. I finished the anti but the cough syrup which I am taking tog w my toddler (Abrilar) make me cough even more. So eventually I give up drinking the syrup n replaced with warm manuka honey drink at night before sleep. eventually the cough go off but on off will recur! =*(

Anyone has better remedy to share?

At how many weeks did u first start clearly understanding that it's baby moving ?

M gynae mentioned it is not unusual not to feel baby movement yet at around 20 weeks but around 21 weeks I started to feel she is rotating as obviously what she likes to do as gynae spotted during the detailed scan. The feeling is like something bouncing and only later stage will u see more obvious kicks or punch or etc... =P

I not yet know my baby gender yet.
1st time baby's position did not allow gynae to see the gender.
2nd time baby's hand is blocking the bottom part.. need to wait for detail scan.

For those mummies who are carrying boy, the stomach shape is basketball shape?
most weight at the front?

For me, i think my stomach is watermelon shape, hip and bum become very big and my boobs oso grow alot..
Wonder is it old wives tale that is carrying a girl..

Gynae say if see 1 or 2 straight line at the bottom in btw the buttock is likely a gal.... My gender was confirmed by the release of the CVS test.

Anyone has confinement nannies to recommend? not particular, but must know how to cook variety of confinement foods, know about breastfeeding, and very collaborative and not authoritative... (very demanding?? )

I will be 35 coming this april and ddd May, so gyane put me on standby once if my blood test shows some abnormality then he will want me to go for that test to test for Gestational Diab. Cos according to him, once we crossed 35 years everything is vulnerable and higher risk.... (I hate injection hence... was quite upset.... as I was told to do the CVS too..)

Anyway it going to be finger tip poked kind so I think should be ok. =D

so far henry nvr tell me abt standing by...i oct then 35 so is aft giv birth.he was quite glad.

I have to do it too. Next week, not looking forward. Heard it's horrible drinking that sweet drink. In shanghai, it's compulsory, regardless of age and weight gain. So no choice.
