Lee: Are you with NUH? I am with NUH, currently in first tri. I was only given with folic acid now. I saw that the doc prescribe multi-vit and calcium for you. So i am worried . By the way, which dr are you with?

Dian Tang, actually the most impt is folic acid for the 1 tri. THe rest of the multi vit is kind of optional..very much depend on your gynas.

Jane- you can try ask DAD to reply...maybe got silent reader ba...at least for the past few weeks, i m the only declare one...Lol.

Yr #1 is a boy or gal? I have different symptoms for #1 and now. Friends keep saying must be different gender this time! But every pregnancy is different, and it's definitely tougher this round.

Dian_tang: I'm also given folic only during 1st tri. Taking multi-vit and DHA now.

Oh yea, is it true that at the first trimester we shouldnt jog? Was advised by my gynae to take up yoga instead. Said got risk of jarring. But i love to jog..

dian_tang: I'm not with NUH. Only went NUH for Oscar scan cause gynea's clinic dont have the machine so need to go hospital. My gynea is Dr Esther Ng previously. But I changed to Dr Karolyn Goh now.

Just had my 16 weeks scan yesterday and seems like bb is a girl!

This is my #1 and I feel so lost about what are the necessary things to buy to prepare for BB arrival. Plus I'm so busy with work thus not much time to read up and check out the stores >.<

Just had my 14 weeks scan last wed. Scan+ blood test.Had a longer scan this time as Gynae trying to see the gender of my baby.keep moving not very cooperative.But in the end she view from baby's bottom, she told me 70% boy.Next visit then scan again to comfirm.

Hi Chyehong, thanks! Do you know the gender of your bb yet? DH said should buy neutral colors and not so many pink clothes so that can pass down to #2 if #2 is boy.

Huiling, were you at the clinic last sat (27/10)? I was there around 11am. During the scan, Dr Chan said that morning she had 3 mothers for the 16 weeks scan and all are having girls. Haha then she said SG need more boys for NS.
 
I wish my is girl too. my #1 is boy. going 13mths old. am going to stop after #2 cus preggy weaken my body n suffer a lot. hais. earlier when I went for e Oscar scan n doc said might be boy cus got something stick out. I wan girl!!

Hi mummies, We are expecting a baby boy.

Done all the test, relived that all went smoothly.
However, during the scan, gyna informed that he found an abnormality in baby body and told us to check out with a specialist. He is suspecting urine is trapped in one of the kidney. Medical term is Antenatal Hydronephrosis. Keeping finger crossed and will be seeing the spec this weekend.
