Junior ii - same same. Mine also lower tummy super tight. Buttock, abodmen, back all suan suan. Hope that's a sign of early delivery. I still hv 3 weeks more to go.

Tummy super tight now, dun think can stretch anymore and back also suan suan, esp when I wake up middle of the night ard 4am - very diff to get back to sleep.

everyone thought that am having twin! my previous checkup was 3.3kg at 37w+3d. but gynae says might not be accurate but definitely bigger than my #1. my #1 weighs 3.325kg when born.

Dear mummies,

Im having quite bad oedema (from late week 2x), until now became Eczema. My gynae says it's 'normal', prob due to hormones. Im just applying alot of moisturizers/ Emollient cream to help soothe it. Anybody bothered by Eczema too?

sb, I have eczema prior to pregnancy. But with this pregnancy, more eczema at strange locations never affected before. Have it now at neck, finger joints, tummy...... don't dare to apply the steriod creams too much. and yes, moisturise and more moisturise... I use QV intensive. It helps.

You can ask gynae for some steriod cream safe for baby.

Re: Post-natal massage
No choice, I gotta do even if it's not as effective after 2 weeks coz my tummy is super stretched due to twin pregnancy. The only problem now is 3 weeks wait means I will hit CNY, gotta call and ask the massage lady if she's willing to do it. Hopefully there will not be extra charge.

Sb, I don't have Eczema, but I was having very bad pregnancy rashes couple of weeks back and on top of the cream and oral steroids that gynae prescribed, I applied tons of calamine lotion. I feel that the calamine lotion helps a lot - you can get it from Guardian/Watsons.

Canopyhaze & Freesia, I had my weekly check this morning too, but no growth scan today. My guess is bb now around 2.9kg or so @38wk 5days.

Canopyhaze, your gynae didn't ask whether u want to induce for natural?

Having abit of prob wif breastfeeding. Coz no milk kick in yet n bb seems so hungry all the time!! I keep trying to latch till i'm full of sweat. I'm in 4bedded bt all 3 neighbours discharged liao. I'm like in a super big 1 bedded ward!! Haha!!

Ya pfshi, agree with moonchip.. Usually can induce once gynae determines that bb is big enough or have reached full term and have engaged, regardless dilated or not.. However, there might be some who may not show any effect even after induce.. So, this is sometimes based on luck or whether bb is ready to come out or not..

some gynae will want to induce already by 41 weeks. some will wait till the max of 42 weeks. so you can check what is the norm for your gynae. haha both my sister's babies are born at 41 weeks wor, 1 more day gynae wanna induce already.

bb currently around 2.4kg at wk 35. gynae says doubt will be bigger than my #1 at 3.4kg. this one will prob be ard 3kg

Congrats...so many new babies!

I am due for my 39w6d check up tom. Last 2 boys were borned on 39w6d... Not sure if this one wil break record.

Having bad insomnia..maybe this is nature's way of prepping me for the nights ahead.

I had eczema like rashes last pregnancy on my tummy. It was really itchy and I used calamine lotion. This time, when I felt some itch, I increased the frequency of applying the Clarins oil..to about 4 times a day. So far, it is ok.

Feeling very tired bec baby kept wanting to be latched... Will cry once un-latched. But when latched, will suck abit and stop, suck abit and stop... For an hr or so?
Initially tot is bec hungry as bm supply not in yet, so fed her with fm. But she only wanna drink 10ml and fell back asleep only to wake up an hr later agn!
Should I intro the pacifier so soon? Or should I continue to be the human pacifier to monitor 1st? Having sore nipples...</font>

LDG - u may want to avoid introducing pacifier so soon... I read that it will confuse the baby if we introduce pacifiers too early.
