Hazel, ya, I expect it to be more ex at the private hospital and I thought it should be quite alright cos it's Kkh scn and not even Nicu but I was given an estimate of 30k per baby! I don't know how they come out with the estimate and I hope it's just really an estimate and not the actual bill!

Hi ladies,
I hv a terrible constipation and it seem to get worst. Last nite I force to poo and managed to poo out after stucking in the loo for like hrs... Nw my anus feel sore and there is this muscle thing coming out, my vagina also swollen due to the constipation (my poo was like a size of a orange, huge!). My constipation seem to get worst and I am so afraid to go poo nw. What should I do? My anus muscle and dw under still swollen and nt sure whther this muscle will go bk itself after awhile. These constipation make me change my mind to hv a natural delivery and when I poo so hard I am so worry it might hurt my bb... Help!

Faithfully, u shouldnt push until like this... If I constipdate until that bad I will use fleet - cam buy from pharmacy. I always hv it on standby. But cannot always use as it may cause more rectrum issues. Anyhow, to solve the constipation issue, dr Loh told me:
- drink at least 3 Litres of water everyday
- take more fibre rich fruits (if u din hv enough water, fibre will worsen Constipdation)
- he gave me stool softener (same thing, u need enough water to make this work) - is v sweet
For me, papaya, prune juice n vitagen works too. So I took them daily.
Please check with ur dietian above since u hv GD

As my tcm oso say i may deliver at wk34 so need to know the rough bill charge in kkh for both bbies and you who stay in b1 ward... Btw, can ur hb be with u when u do ur c sect in kkh? How many days will u be staying before discharge? Thk u very much..

faithfully..dun push too hard.. i think you push yr piles out..used yr finger to push it back in or it may bleed later if left outside for too long and keep rubbing against other things.

I try to push the "muscle" in yest but it feel pain and sore when touch... It subsize abit I will try to push it in during my shower... Nw I am worry ab my next poo. Fybogel is a high fiber drink. So, if dun hv enough water, will make constipation worse. I took fybogel n stool softerner n 3 Litres of water a day after delivery. No issue with pooing. Coz after natural delivery, down there is sore n there is an episotomy wound. Cannot excert force at all. Stool softerner - lactus, can buy fr pharmacy too.
Fleet is immediate relief. Coz it breaks down the big n hard stool into small pieces so that we can clear our bowels. Dr Loh told me can only use once a when Constipdation is really v bad. Frequent usage will irritate our rectrum. I use fleet when it is really bad. It is also given before labour starts to clear our bowels. If not, when we push, the stools will come out too during labour process.
Watever it is, dr Loh told me if I dub take enough fluid (3 Litres), be it lactus or fybogel, it wun work, but only make it worse. Faithfully, that's piles. Leave it alone until the swelling subsides. Later inflammation worse. For me, once the swelling subsided, the piles will retract into the rectrum. If it does not, dun hv to worry, just go to your GP or gynae and get a bullet to insert into the rectrum to push the piles in. V simple n no pain.

Faithfully, fleet is liquid based. So, it is a pump with a tube for u to insert into rectrum to squeeze the liquid out. U need to lie on your side to do it to prevent the liquid fr flowing out. After that throw the pump away n wait for 5-10mins. U will start to hv tummy ache, but hold it. The liquid breaks up the stools into smaller pieces so that u can gently push it out. The longer u hold while lying on your side, the more effective. U can get it at any pharmacy. Guardian has. A green colour box with the word fleet on it. At times I even use the Chinese version I buy at medical shop! All work the same n Chinese ones cheaper.

Juvi, taking anti biotic increases the chances of yeast infection too. Same for using feminine wash. That cld be why dr tan didn't give u any other med unless is absolutely necessary. good personal hygiene is impt. Watch your diet too. Carbo rich n sweet food promotes yeast infection as they turn into glucose. So cut down. I like to wash down there with warm salt water. Once In the morning before work and once at night before sleep. Wear cotton underdies n change your panty liner frequently during the day.

Joanne, blurxuan, sure, won't mind sharing once I receive the bill. I checked with them and they disallow my hubby to be in the OT with me cos it's an emergency csection and not a scheduled one. I was alone throughout the csection, aware of what is happening cos just lower body anaesthesia.

Hi Juvi, do you feel itchy? For me it's very itchy. My gynae took a swab and confirmed first if it's yeast infection and then she gave me passaries to be inserted into the vigina. I was given cream to apply while waiting for the test result. For me, I apply the cream cos I have no choice since it's very itchy.

Catherine, belle put on another 300g this wk to 6kg... Mamy poko I still hv 116 pcs left which I use only 1 at night daily.. So, will last, 3 mths plus??!! Overstock also!
Oh ya, still got 2 packs of NB pampers!! Cannot use already..
The 9 packs of S sizes pampers, some r from sg, some for Malaysia. Belle uses abt 4 pcs during the day. So, total, 219 pcs, will last 1.5-2 mths?
m sizes start from 6 kg, so theoretically, belle can use M size now?!
I used NB size till she was 5 kg... N always leaks poo! V messy!
In JB, we bought 72 pcs of mamy poko for RM 53.99 at Giant.

Hearing about UTI and yeast infection really scares me... I tend to get UTI quite often while I was trying for a baby naturally that KKH Dr Han had to give me antibiotics on stay by each time we tried. Heard taking antibiotics from other docs is not good, but it so much better than getting UTI!
I was so scared bec of UTI I will never get pregnant, lucky IVF helped me. Now pregnant I am very scarred of getting UTI/yeast infection that I try to empty my bladder immediately when full as holding back is bad. Also must drink lots of water and cut down on sugary items. I am also using daily V wash.
Is there any other remedy to prevent such infection from occurring?

Throll, good Hygenie, take yakult and yogurt n raw canberry juices. I nv had UTI or yeast infections.
Catherine, too troublesome to sell online. I either donate to charity or pass them to hub's cousin wife who is delivering in June. In fact, I just gave 7 Tins of 900g Mamil gold stage 2 FM to charity who will give them to needy families. One gal wanted to take advantage of this n wan to buy fr me at $90 for all 7 tins when it cost $30-40 bucks per tin in the supermarkets! I just casually mentioned in forum tt i received them aa gift, didn't even say I wan I sell. Hate this type of pp. I wun go poorer with $90 less but the needy families can gain alot more fr this.

Joanne, it's anaesthesia so there's no pain. They cleaned the babies before showing to me. I am not breast feeding so don't need to send breast milk to the hospital.
Hazel, i know y mamy poko is rm47. My mum told me my dad buy from normal shop selling medicated products... Din buy from giant. My mum usually check the price at ntuc, sheng siong and covert the price for my dad. If there r no savings my dad cannot buy .

ya very busy whole week daytime i at fil's place..take care of dogs and also let bb get used to them cos next monday onwards they taking care of her full time, and i'll pick her up after work.
