Lil, it will pop-in after delivery, but shape will be different le. and more ugly later on coz will have pigementation in belly button, like chao ta belly button. Hahaha.. Till now I still can't manage to clean off all the chao ta inside. Yucks!

snowing, yes, very weird to go touch and feel a pop-out belly button, so I never dare to really go touch it. hehe.

snowing, if you belly expands very fast and you didn't apply any lotion then SM will visit you very soon. Otherwise, it depends on individual skin texture. Some ppl early, some ppl like me, after giving birth, when belly shrinks. It's the speed and amount of stretching that cause SM I think. I don't have any during pregnancy. It's only after gave birth then start to appear. It will be like many small little lines in purple/brown colour.
 
berryjay, since u bought a good sm oil better don't waste it. I heard my friend who used clarins sm cream/oil for her pregnancy has no sm loh. So you better start being hard-working, don't regret later. Later cannot wear bikini if u have ugly sm.
 
last time i used the clarins oil. Gg to try the cream base one this time round. hopefully no stretch mark too.

feeling so lousy today, staring at the four corners since morning...

i have a almost full tube of the clarins cream, din use much during #1.. tinking still can continu using for #2.. but usually advisable to discard after opening 12mths. how??...
 
Clarins oil got 2 types, one is for slimming, so get the right one. The wording is "Huile Tonic", selling $68.50 at DFS... I dunno how much is it at the retail counters. You can check it out.

Think this is for preventing while the cream one is to reduce. The salesgal say normally ppl use it together but i didnt get the cream, maybe its sales talk. haha. I got the oil only.
 
Go to chinatown, People's Park (that building opp chinatown pt). There are shops on top of the hawker that sells really cheaply.
 
according to my friends the oil is more effective..
but rather oily for me so i got the cream.. (i have lots of oil liao so i avoid adding more oil into my body... hahaha)
 
ya i read more raves abt the oil too so i got the oil instead of the cream..

i wanted to get biotherm initially but the DFS i went to dont have the stock then i'm lazy to walk to another DFS store in the airport.
 
My friend bought me one bottle of the clarins oil as gift! Yippee, I am going to use it towards the end of my pregnancy. For now I use Earth Mama first coz don't bear to buy and use expensive sm cream/oil. I heard 1 bottle around $80 at retail? very ex loh...
 
bloom - i'm still using the leftover clarins cream from #1's time.

BTW, have you all confirmed your confinement nanny?
 
For those who have used clarins cream before, hows the smell like? Mild? Also, is it sticky after applying?

sun_tan, later i go hm try the smell and stickness.. will post later as i cant recall the smell n feeling now.. hope it doesnt "go bad".. lol
 
pommes, i confirmed my confinement lady last week.

sun_tan: im using both clarins oil and cream although i keep forgetting to use the cream. I think the cream is not sticky, dun have much smell (maybe i should go home and smell it again before telling u).. personally i prefer the oil, i find the smell calming..
 
sasayeo: i was told by the ML can only start massage from 2nd trimester onwards. but right now, can do head and shoulders massage. Anyone contacted Mdm Ida? I tried engaging her but she is always busy...
 
chubbyfingers, haha its the smell of the oil that puts me off. maybe cos now my sense of smell is very sensitive. I threw all my home clothes away after giving birth cos of the oil smell.
 
Those who have already booked ML, wat you have booked for is massage during pregnancy or is to book for confinement massage?
 
JLJ, i wanted to try her massage before booking her but she is just so hard to get! anyway how much does she charge u? At first she told me its $40 per hr, then in subsequent sms, she said its $40 for 45 min.
 
I heard this yr really hot with IFC, confinement ladies n even massage ladies. But pregnancy not stable so I havent started looking for one too.

My clarins cream no smell to me n is not sticky. I bought my clarins from those Chinatown shops too.

OH i used the clarins stretch mark cream before.I prefer it over the oil. the oil has a smell, and it used to make me wanna puke. I used it during first tri and i have no stretch marks! My fren use palmers, but her tummy like a watermelon. I highly recommend clarins!
