Just wanted to share my experience with our confinement nanny, Aunty Fei Fei.
As first-time parents, we were quite lost at the start, but she really supported and guided us through the whole journey.
She was patient in teaching us how to take care of our baby and gave us a lot of practical tips, which made things much less stressful for us.
She bonded very well with our baby and took great care of him. We felt comfortable leaving him in her hands, which is something very important during this period.
Her cooking is also very good — meals were always nicely prepared, and she kept the house clean, neat, and organised throughout.
We had just moved into our place and honestly weren’t fully prepared to welcome a newborn, but she took the initiative to suggest how to arrange our things and shared better ways to manage daily routines.
After she left, we found it much easier to cope on our own.
One thing that left a strong impression on me was her thoughtfulness. After my herbal bath, she would even help rinse the shower area to prevent staining on the tiles. Small things like this really show her sense of responsibility and care.
She was also encouraging and supportive when it came to breastfeeding, which meant a lot during the early stage.
Of course, no one is perfect, but overall she has been a great help to our family, and we truly appreciate her effort and the warmth she brought into our home.
