Morning everyone! Hmm I got nose bleed last night after dinner!! It take quite long to stop bleeding! Omg~ I go read online it's common to have nose bleed during pregnancy. Haiz scarry!
 
loh, i think u need to eat something! puking out gastric juices means nothing in ur stomach...

sasa, i feel the sad.. i cant believe its only wed... why why..... i have not been getting good sleep.. argh...
 
hi all,
*touch wood*, recently MS is more under controlled.. if i continue to snack light items..
the bloatedness is also getting better comparing to few weeks ago.. maybe the body got accustomed to the hormonal changes.. what about the rest of you mummies? do you feel less bloated nowadays compared to past few weeks?

seeing my gynae tomorrow! looking forward to the scan and seeing the little one..
 
Karen: Im same as u! Keep eating jus so to make my nauseous better. Empty stomach makes me feel very nauseous. And suffering from indigestion as well which make me puke. Haix...

Now I jus had sandwich but still felt my stomach kind of empty. Omg! How to control weight? Im worried its not healthy for baby.

was juz wondering my vommiting seems to have gotten worst by the day that i cant keep any food or even water down.
is it normal?
i read in net that if excess vomitting its dangerous and have to inform dr abt it and that might have to be admitted for drips.. this vomitting feeling simply sucks..

Rolling on bed.. Thank God no MS ytd. I even ate black pepper crab ytd night. Yummy!

I think I might have eaten too full/ indigestion on Sunday hmm *cross fingers*

Count down 1 day to Gynae to break the news to parents!

kidomum, my bloatness also improved a little but I do get it once in a while still.

Loh: I feel the same, this pregnancy is more 辛苦 compared to my first. I can only eat things which I crave, if not it will all come out.
 
Enjoyed my homemade luncheon meat sandwich + anlene concentrate for 10 minutes then it all came out again. Luckily I still have half a sandwich left.

Mrs Heng, I think it's the milk + sandwich combi that made me barf coz I had the same type of sandwich last week and was ok.
 
Going to have big breakfast meal now. And I have been having swollen gums for 4 days! Sian

only sweet/sour thing i crave and is helping with MS is fresh orange juice.

last time i also ate pig trotters..haha..during my preggy time .. this time i haven't eaten.

Bluegal, we are considering getting a new maid to help my mum so that she can look after both our kids and the helper can do housework and help with cooking..

I am thinking to hire a maid too...but dunno how to make rrangement yet. Either send #1 ad #2 to kndergarden,#3 to infant care, maid takes care of 1 and 2 after school. Else, maid takes care of #3, 1 and 2 go full day CC. Headache...
 
Mummies here got so many craving! And you all can cook! Pei fu pei fu!!

I don't have much craving but will eat whatever is available and after eating I will go to sleep immediately. My daddy say this is bad habit but I'm too tired!! Yesterday labour day holiday I spent most of the time zzzzzz!

All my bras now are so tight now what should I do? Hubby say it will grow further so I wondering what size should I buy when I dunno how much it going to increase!!
 
Jellow, my bras are also quite tight now. So I bought a few cheap ones from Giant (definitely, not sexy or pretty, if you ask me). But at least it can last me for the next few weeks, or until I need a bigger size.
 
Im so bloated! I can feel the wind moving around my stomach!!!

Jellow: Wow! So fast ur bra feels tight!! How I wish my bust grow so fast! Hahahahaha!

ya, mine also super tight. i already started using the bra extension and ordered new bras liao.. waiting for them to come..
 
Jellow: Buy one cup size and one width size up.
I think that'll be safer.
Some people may even increase 2 cup sizes by the time the milk supply kicks in..
 
Catherine: Lols that cute. Hmm It's a good idea also! Experienced mummy will our neinei shrink to original size before preggy after give birth? Hmm i scare later if I throw away my existing bra den next time it do shrink have to buy bra again so troublesome and a waste!

Snowing: hahas try to burp or f**t the gas out if not will feel uncomfortable and painful of the wind in the stomach!

Kidomum: hmm bra extension how does it look like? I'm mountain turtle! Hahas I think for my case it's increase in cup and waistline getting thicker got layer of fat being squeeze out by the tight bra! Hard to breathe!! Hahas
 
i remembered especially after giving birth, it will become very big!! to prepare the milk supply to kick in!!

if u continue to breastfeed, it will not shrink back even after giving birth..
 
Morning mummies: im not sure if the damn MS will attack me anot. Cause if compare with 1st pregnancy, its not time for attack yet…
My heart goes to mummies who puke all day long and don’t energy to work

But still, I encounter face mummies who can drag themselves to work physically and mentally

My problem is both mum and MIL working so no adults can help monitor the maid. So I can only resort to having maid and baby at home and install camera to monitor from work. So scare maid will abuse my baby. As for #2, will send her to fulltime childcare.
 
bluegal, i guess this is the reality.. it's not easy to do the actual infant/childcare arrangement according to what we want..

I do have friends in the same situation as you and luckily for them, they also managed to get good helpers who can care for their babies...but for housework, gotta compromise a little bit..
 
Hi kidomum,
Your friends no issue with the maid and baby alone at home? My heart goes to babysitter which i used to arrange for #1. But now with 2 kids, i badly need a maid to help out so no point spending money and get baby sitter again.
 
sasayeo, i had kimchi soup the other day and it tastes totally differnt from usual... =( guess it's our taste bud playing the tricks..

Bluegal, no choice for my fren coz her mum and ILs all not willing to help.. so have to trust the maid to take care of kids.. she got Filipino..coz their level of English is better so they can communicate better with children.. and I think their environment is a bit less rural compared with some maids from Indonesia / Myanmar.. I think many of them are even quite educated.

I have no one help to monitor the maid at home too.
When I withdraw no1 frm baby sitter thi Jan, she cried. #1 is still going to her place for dinner aft childcare during weekdays.

have u all done research about cost of getting a maid? I was doing a calculation..first payment around $4k right?
 
Kidomum, it depends. The first payment is the agency fee, insurance and the maid's loan. I paid almost $3k 1 shot.
 


then subsequently, will be monthly foreign maid levy...around $170 right?
until the loan amount finished, then we need to pay the maid the $$.
am I correct?
