today is my DPO12, tested using a 10 miu hpt tis morning, very disappointed cos it’s nothing on the test line :-( Is it too early?

Yes, might be too early.. maybe can test again in a few days..

some ppl can detect early.. but some need a few more days past AF due date..

 
Jacy > so did they state which day u be starting ur jab? if CD18 u most likely is long protocol meaning u be going jab on CD21 for one month the most... the whole process lasted 2 month or more I am short protocol as i jab on CD02 the process is one month.



Gov grant is only can use in KKIVF... Gov hosp... but... only can put max two embyros... if no gov grant is max 3 embyros...

yup... u get a letter from polyclinic and tell them u want to check for fertility issue and they will give a referal letter to u...



Jacy > i am a sub... but in KKIVF u are paying pte rate... after ivf if BFP u will go back sub rate in clinic D... if not u choose doc u must be a pte...

Read an article that my age group getting pregnant is only 10% in any particular month. Then I went FB and saw many of my old schoolmates, now all proud parents.



Feel quite dejected.

wishstar - my hubby now then willing to do something for us. Before we got married, I voiced out about getting a pre-natal check, to make sure we are clinical normal and healthy.



He refused. Then nvm, now we tried for 6 months, no news. He realised it's not so simple.



Mdm Khoo - I admire your courage. This IVF route is not an easy journey. I wish you all the best and you will receive good good news soon!

 
guys are like that then want natural... they can accept the facts... that is y me try 2 years going tcm... checkup... we spend tons of $ to try natural until one day i bring him to my appt then he find that what i have been telling him are true coz the doc said i need assistant in preggy...

I went to TCM during lunch.. my second visit to him and told him me seeking East-West medical help liao... towards the end, i asked the doc what should men take to boost their troops.. hee.. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] (cheeky me) then DH quickly say he's still very strong... Think he's worried for his image bah... but what's wrong asking mah..

A few times, I also popped the question whether he should go for checks as well.. instead of stressing me alone loh. but he say since I have irregular menses, should "see" me first.. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif] I can tell he is reluctant to be checked.



My mum went thru IVF for my sis before... she looked in such pain last time.. or maybe the technology has improved... Jia You Mdm Khoo!! admire ur courage wor...

it has always been my dream to be a young mother.. dont like big age gap between child and me.. i think the smaller the gap.. the easier to communicate..

thus, to me.. i already very late liao.. have friend whose kids 2 years liao.. envy lo..

anyone seening dr tan siew buoy from thong chai? her timing is not very good leh and the Q is v scary. if i wan a bunny baby, when is the cut off time, must get preggy by next march right?



This is the TCM sinseh Dr Tan Kian Sing - How much is the consultation per time for couple? Medicine is boil type or powder form? How frequent does he sees his patient? Like we need to go once a week or once 2 weeks? How much does the medicine cost?



Also acupuncture, anyone tried and how much?

babies > went to thong chai for two years le no use for me coz if u really want embark on TCM need years... then got result... some of my friend went TCM for 8 years then got BBs... if u not urgent can try TCM to "tiao li" but if u want fast u need western n TCM together...

any tuition teacher here? (saw news that ex-teacher quit job and become p/t tutor and now earning much more n less working hrs/ stress).

 
baby > u can stick to one TCM u like... that is near u hse coz dun stress if long journey... can combine but sometime western medi cant mixed with TCM herb so better take accu and western medi best not take TCM herb... accu can le...



ivf take one - two month... u will get 14 days - 17 days Hospital leave to rest at home... until u tested... +ve / -ve...



one month (short protocol)is starting from CD02... two month (long protocol) is from CD21.... depend on doc...

i did consider because i dont think i hv time to wait.. tried for 3 years n we're already mid 30s still trying for #1.



my gynae asked me to try clomid first. if really cant work, i think i try ivf, at least faster an see results and hopefully strike twins (hehee..) I think the process sounds v painful.

Yesterday went to c doc cos not feeling v well n he prescribed mi with some medicine which 1 is not to be taken during pregnancy. Just wondering if it'dls safe to take though

now I'm only TTC. Any advice?

u din tell the GP tat u currently ttc-ing? the GP could ve given u alternative medicine (those okay to take when preggy).

if its me i will try to play safe if can la, cos in case really preggy this cycle, surely will worry over this n tat.

Why so many people so scared of ivf huh? is it a painful process mentally or physically or financially or what? I havent heard anything bad yet.. please tell me so that i can be mentally prepared..



anyway, i just watch the movie 'BACK UP PLAN' last night.. use frozen sperm and got preggy with twins at 1st try!!! I also wanna be preggy!!

My AF finally comes... hais



Yesterday me n hubby talked about the issue if we can't conceive naturally and need help eg the IVF route, we will give up.



babycome2me - i am considering to give up my full time job and do free lance jobs. Find that my current job is too stressful, not only it affects my cycle, also my mood and health.



Jacy - my impression of IVF is very painful and very heartbreaking. Becos I have a close friend that went through the process and not successful in the end. Now, they have resigned to their fate and just enjoy the time together. They go holiday frequently and have many god-children.
