Hi All, when I saw crown's posting, it sent a shiver down my spine. It serves as a wakeup call to me and my wife not to take things for granted and assume everything to go smoothly once the 1st trimester has passed. Anything and everything can still happen if we are not careful. I have to ask my wife to really be more mindful about the things she eat and drink. Don't leave anything to chance. She still insists on drinking cold drinks. sigh...

hi shivan, you are right, such things are not guaranteed. every baby is precious and God's gift to us, but it's also not up to us if the gift is taken away from us suddenly, without warning. we can only be careful as much as we can, the rest we just have to leave it to fate.

hi Shivan,i totally agree with u anything can happen at any stage cos i had a stillborn at 26 weeks 4 yrs ago without any symptoms, i just feel no bb movement one day when i wake up one am n when gynae chk, heartbeat alrdy stopped..cause by twisted cord but cant tell y it happen.. i grief for 1 yr n tried for another bb for 2 years, i had one stillborn and 1 miscarriage [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif]
but God is great still in his timing i hv a lovely beautiful 16 month old gal now [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] i dun take any chance, i am on asprin n ventolin for this pregnancy n last pregnancy too n i make sure my bb move eveey hr or eveery 2 hrs, once i pass 20 weeks, i go to my gynae every week to use their doppler to hear my bb heartbeat to make sure it is strong n fast, i eat healthily like taking organic food every week, occasion indulge still n pray everyday to ask for healthy baby n smooth pregnancy, so i do my best for healthy ways n the rest lift it to God
so all i for my this pregnancy is the same n count my blessing eveeyday n nt taking it for granted,though i am over paranoid at times esp when i was sick

i'm claire, crown's gf...
she wanna thank u for all ur wishes...
and i'm here to give an update...
i'm with her now... she's shivering from fever, cos the medication given to her has lots of side effects... she's so cold, she has 3 blankets on her... she cant help it, but using ice pack and panadol to bring her fever down...
pls keep her in ur prayers...
her dh jus reach sg and jus came visit her, but he cant stay by her side cos is not convenient for a guy...

Hadn't had the time to log in whole of today (actually yesterday since past midnight now) cause in jb. Got dewdew's SMS about crown when I got back in the evening. Very sad and shocked, my heart feels heavy for her.

Having a very heavy heart since two nights ago.. But yesterday got worse coz of crown's case.. Just came to know that 1 of my girl friend too had her lost recently at 15 weeks..
It is really a wake up call for us never to take our body condition foregranted.. And really must pray each day for baby's protection...

Ladies, every baby is Gift from God, so no matter how much pain and sufferings we have been thro is worth it with healthy babies in our arms.
I had M/C twice, I know the pain. Being pregnant is already a blessing, we shouldn't take everything for granted. Anything can happen in anytime during pregnancy. It is not because of the food we eat or the things we do. Things just happen for no reason. So we should cherish each and everyday when we are pregnant. Even with healthy babies in our arms to bring home, we should love and care for our babies. Cos babies are the most wonderful present from God.
Mommies we should be thankful for each and everyday that we are pregnant, don't get upset with unnecessary stuff, it is not worth it. Just enjoy our pregnancies.

Sharon: Hand me downs won't make a baby healthy but rather what I heard is that the baby will continue to grow up well.Cannot have everything brand new i think. so even if its 1 piece of hand me down also good.
The apple juice with aloe vera bits from Fruit Tree is actually a juice drink which is not very good cos sugar is quite high. =) might want to cut down on that. =)

Sharon, that is old saying. Babies wearing hand-down clothes will grow up healthy and faster. Sounds good and babies do grow very fast, so no point getting expensive clothings.
Whatever eaten just forget it, just try to avoid in the future. Everything in moderation.
