Ceres mine 44 days Liao. Till now also timing siao siao when come to feeding. Night time quite regular. But day time sometimes 1hr plus cry for milk. Usually I will just let him drink. My boy also will poo abit when he fart. But when he really poo will be like what u say. Atomic bomb. Haha! N u can c his relief face..

sharing my experience...
for night feedings... bb have a routine timing liao.. its about 9ish, 11ish - double dose (she will drink a lot a lot).. then 1am for dream feed (sometimes we got her too awake then battle).. but after that.. she will sleep till 5-6am then start her morning feeding routine
bb now latch for 10 - 15 mins nia.. instead of the past like 20 - 30 mins..
i change her diapers the moment she wakes up so that i dun wake her up if she sleeps while latching.. if not battle again..
she normally poo while sleeping, then after poo, she will be hungry and wake up for feed. she cannot drink properly if her diapers is dirty (this is her very bad habit)... i have to change her then feed her. but i will avoid changing after feed. so i will unlatch after 10 mins, change her and feed her again.

same same, bb chloe's last feed before she sleeps will be ard 11pm/12pm, then wake up at 330am/4am for another feed, then 6am/7am for morning feed le.. so i wake up to pump at 4am just nice can see her hehhee..

hello all.. havent been logging in for long le.. as suspected, i have developed mastitis.. 2 days after seeing the LC, I went to see a GP to get antibiotics. given 10 day supply but till now there is no improvement, in fact is getting worse. i dun dare to BF. once i grit my teeth and used full force to press on the red swollen lumps, dark yellowish, thick and weird smelling milk came out that i got a shock.. i think is pus.. but now i cant press the lumps already because it is too painful. when i express, the milk is normal clear white and i tasted it, it is salty! so i have to pump and throw.... cant yield much anyway only 20ml max each breast cos it is badly swollen and engorged. used to be able to pump 100-120ml per breast. i cant do anything because touching any part of my breast now is so painful.
i even lost the milk smell that my baby doesnt root for my breast when i carry her. last time, she will reject bottle if i feed but now she dont. i am in pain and depressed...
tmr i going to make appt to see breast surgeon. hope can drain out the pus... sigh

Coco: dunno why sudden increase.. I tdy no pump. Try feed a bit to release the engorge. Usually 3-4hr pump once if latch iwill pump out excess. Night from 7pm I slp till next morning pump 2 times. I scared pump pump too much dunno put where.

ceres, the cooler packs can last v long , approx 12 hrs. so every nite before i zzz, will pass her the bottles. no water coz these are cooler packs, v convenient. just place 2 blocks in the cooler box.
my CL is pro BF so no problem for her to handle the EBM, etc. by the way, she also auto washes my clothes. she will also write down every detail of how much EBM she feed , at what time and when my bb poop. when i want to latch, i just tell her, then she will bring bb to me during the feed time. she is god send help....

Sweetkiss: once u recover take time to train bb latch or drink bm. Tat time I stopped abt 4days, my boy forgot. We force him face my nipple n drink my bm. Slowly than he accept.. Some bb will remember so dun worry. Now the most impt thing is to let ur breast heal than provide milk for bb.

sweetkiss, so sorry to hear about your condition. can understand how painful it is . i have been through 2 rounds of mastitis during my #1 time. the pain is still fresh in my head.
cabbage leaves does work magic. to relieve pain, try continuously change chilled cabbage leaves in the meantime before your appt tomorrow ? tke care!

pillow: really? but i heard cabbage leaves will lower milk supply. i also same case.. i lost all mood to do anything cos the pain is lingering.. everytime after pumping i try to press the lump real hard to squeeze out the pus... but if i overdo it, i will develop chills and shiver non stop. then i cover myself in thick blankets and sleep. wake up time, i have fever that lasts for 1 hr..

OH...i hears manitis is very painful n at times they might even nid to use needles to poke n press out...
ceres: if possible try not to keep to long in the fridge then in the freezer try to keep away from raw food...for mi i store EBM on the top level n all the raw stuffs at the most bottom n of coz my fav ice-cream below my EBM....awaiting for confinement to end n i can start attacking all the ice-cream...heehee

sweetkiss: not poke by ourselves lah...those LC or doc....i think u better see LC fast n get them to help before it get worst.....i think ur ss alot that's y....see LC then later will b ok liao my friend oso like u that time n after awhile she's ok n she's still BF-ing till now...her boi n my boi same age 19mos now...so dun worry...no problem 1

dun worry about the bonding.. u can also try other ways.. talk to bb, play with bb, bathe bb, change bb.. when bb cry, let bb know u can sooth him.. when bb needs a change, let bb know u are the one who can provide all these..

last few day my ss also low. I think cuz 2days ago, I emptied my breast, both by pumping, than like 30mins later or less bb cried I latch him. He very unhappy cuz no milk but I try squeeze & came out abit only so I insist bb suck. After 2 times my milk ss went up. Think body got reaction say 50ml not enuff need produce more.. Lol. Now both breast if no latching can pump up to 180ml.

my CL thinks that must always keep bb warm, day and night also wear long sleeves and pants. I wanted her to wear romper only she said cannot.. She opens the window a little and close the curtain at night, and on the fan, but there is not much air ventilation and the room is stuffy for me.. day time is better she opens the curtain.
today bb is cranky, can feel that she is uncomfortable.. CL said is it because of my chilled BM, she said though we heat up but maybe it's still cold inside? i told her no.. we heat up already, 70 degrees for 5 minutes (pigeon milk warmer) is enough.
She thinks something wrong with my BM, too cold for bb.. so she made FM for bb just now le.. hai..........

shann: it's true that must keep bb warm at all times now esp when less then 1mth oni but the room temp shd b kept at between 25-27deg n recently the weather's really v hot n stuffy...i even on the aircon awhile w fan on to keep the temp dwn....as for the temp of EBM i normally use the warmer for awhile then i'll gently shake it to see if the warm last to see if the temp last....if it cools dwn too fast then means EBM not warm enuff....hope that helps

my PIL side shd b call as yeye n nai nai n not ahgong ahma lor...keep making my boi call them ahma...feel so much to tell her off! where got ppl so STUPID 1...their daughter's kids call them ahgong ahma so how can their grandkids call the same s their daughter's kids....it's common sense stuff rite....feel like telling her if she so wana him to call her ahma then i might s well change his surname to mine instead....我的命不好没那个福气有你这种妈妈 ... can tell my son saying his mother wana stave him to death!....haizzz

maybe you can create an acc for your bb, so add your relatives only to that acc.
SK: My dear, I am going through the same as you now!! But mine haven't developed into fever stage yet. I have this lump underneath my right breast and it is so painful to touch it. I have been massaging and pressing it like crazy to clear it but it don't seem to go away!!! Then my milk blister on my right nipple is back and so is the shooting pain. Damn miserable. Somemore today was my baby's first mth party... had to endure the pain and smile at ppl still.. sigh.
Tmr I am going to see the gynae for help with the blocked duct.. hopefully it will clear away soon.. really painful =\

just as I suspect, whole night CL complain keep say 'wei ren nai is like this, per hr must wake.' than she continue 'so ke lian hor, still cannot drink milk'.
She damn slow still anyhow use the warmer. Warm until ebm super hot lor.. Or super cold. Sigh! Than repeat same Qns, why must warm 2times?
Whole night my Hubby wake help CL warm. She than sit there nag! My Hubby got to work tdy lor. This CL suka can come in nap if not go down on my tv watch nv even ask de hor. Ytd kana caught by my mom, she happen come hm early CL can't react fast. Lol.
My boy like to make the saliva sound like puke milk, ytd CL keep waking until she pek chek dun wan wake continue slp! My boy cry n cry she ignore lor. Hubby than go see settle abit but later cry again we ignore & CL go see, than CL comment, 'becuz make ebm too long, now bb cranky dun wan slp'.
Worse. suddenly I see bb gone! CL bring bb go her mattress change diaper or wat, but where she slp is the aircon blowing area! Though we make aircon blow straight ahead on top, but still is the coolest place. Hubby angry say pass boy to us than put bb slp with us. I let bb latch abit n he slowly slp soundly..
Sigh! Lucky Hubby slp with me if not is my mom she confirm angry n Will ask CL make fm. For my Hubby he feels bm is the best so.. He willing sacrfice but I scared lor.. Cause will tire him.. Sigh!
