(2010/07) July 2010 MTB

DQ - Not to worry mine is 3kg at 35+1days on Monday. So gynae in JB told me maybe he wil induced me by week37..



I am going to visit my Singapore Gynae on 02 July 2010 morning, i think the results sure will be 3kg ++. So sure she will also suggest for induction birth cause if wait till ny due date BB will be almost tipping 4kg or more..



Hahhahaa.. So dont worry anymore about weights.

It may be more or less the scanning weight.



Also depend solely on the machine the gynae using. If old machine sure the weight will be a huge different..



At the JB clinic i went, bb 12 weeks scan gayne already say 70% boy. Their machine new ones so technology are better. At KKh i got to wait till week 18 to confirm the gender of the bb.



So i play safe now i go 2 place for check up. Roughly i can set the average of both results.



But by week 37 i will have to depend only on KKH results cause i dont want to travel to JB anymore. I want to give birth in Singapore...

actually 36.5 weeks, my baby was 3.2 - 3.4 kg! doc actually asked me want to consider to induce or not bec baby chubby. but i tink i'll do natural and not induce unnaturally bec i am more pro natural. by the looks of it my baby has become one of the larger ones :p

Ceres, dunno whether we managed to bump into each other in the private suite or not hehehe.. When i reached, it was 02-1145, so i guess you were already out!



35 weeks and 3 days today, bb's weight is 2.5kg, she said good weight. Am so glad to hear that bb has not engaged yet, i don't wish her to come out any sooner haha! Scared lei.. i am excited yet so afraid of the labour process, don't know what to expect!

 
my baby weighed 3.2kg at 36-37 weeks but my gynae said is just nice, she might hit 3.4kg at birth but still no issue for natural birth. and he didnt mention about inducing or anything. so i will wait patiently lor. so happy, tmr's my "last day" at work!

 
Just reporting. I've safely given birth to my bb girl on 22 june 1902hrs. Super long labour. Planned no epi but when contractions kicked in hard, I caved. Natural with epi. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

As for myself, tomorrow will be my "last day" of work. Same as Sweetkiss. Hee!



Gonna see gynae on Fri and if all is well, will be inducing on Fri night and deliver by Sat.

Yes! Congrats to the mummies! I’m so nervous as well… Cos the mummies who popped, their EDD is later than mine.

I hope my bb can wait till at least 1 more week cos my gynae is on leave!

Congratulation to those who had popped. So happy for you.



Sometime i feel anxious and upset abt the waiting game. Mixed feeling. Keep dunno when will give birth. Dunno when waterbag will break.



Since yesterday, i got quite abit of mucus discharge. Some tinged with blood. This morning, contractions seems quite regular too like every 5 to 10mins apart. Going to monitor awhile more before calling gynae to see if i need to make my way down to his office to check or to labour ward again.



Why can't waterbag just break and no need to wonder or guess so much. Hai...



Sorry abt all my complaints this morning.

Ann: Oh dear, these are like signs of labour… my friend also experienced the same thing, but waterbag only burst when she was in the hosp.

Think u shld call ur gynae if the pain persists!

 
Yvonne, to count BB's movement is to make sure your BB is safe...if you do not feel your BB's movement after a while, shake your tum tum a little and see if BB respond. If not, moniter further and call your gynae to tell him/her that you have not felt your BB for a quite a long period of time.



main thing of worry is that BB maybe distressed or worst the umbilical cord is around BB...

Another occasion, we were watching world cup with the netbook on my lap and the light is shinning on my tummy.. bb jus couldnt sleep.. she keep on tossing and turning.. i got worried cause normally she shud be sleeping..



Me: baby, u dun sleep, tmr cannot gai gai liao



Hubby: dear, i think its the light, she cannot sleep



Me: oh! hmm.. (takes a small towel and cover my tummy and pat pat bb)



Baby: stops moving and fell asleep!!



Me: (turn and look at hubby) it works! u actually know what shes thinking!! did she tell u??



hubby: u say one ma.. bb will have reaction to light (take the netbook away and move to kitchen to watch so bb can sleep)



His the 24 siao (filial) lao pa... hahaha

Oh, tat the reason.. I didnt count baby kick...

I juz make sure he move daily.. talk to him, disturb him... especially every night sure place my hand on my tummy and he usually will come to find my hand..



tat is how i keep track of bb kick and not counting how long its take to give me 10 kicks..

My gosh.. cant believe that its our turn now! juz months back, we were like reading others mummies' birthstories but now its happening here for july mtb threads!! So exciting! Told my husband every monring I cant wait to log in to find out who has popped..& is more exciting than finding out worldcup results leh [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

 
Yesterday I went for my gynae's visit. I lost some weight.. and baby gained very little weight. She is 2.7kg at 37 weeks++. Doc said my bb will be a small gal but its alright. And we have set D-date to be this saturday!!! 26th!! my gosh.. its going to be my turn!!



I wanted GA initially but my hubby, on hearing that if I do epi he will only be inside for abt 15mins nia, he said he can try. So I THINK I may be going for epi though the thought of being sliced up while I'm awake is freaking me out!!



Any mummies who has experienced with C-sect GA and epi can advise or give some comments ma? My Doc saw my face and she thinks I might not be able to take epi well... how how blue cow.. booboo

babycoco: What time is your surgery? Which hosp? I'm checking in on fri night at Gleneagles.. U opting for c-sec epi right? we havent decided on bb's name!!

SweetKiss: Yup, those are signs of labour. I realise my contraction quite funny one.. if i walk around, i dun feel it at all... but when i sit down or lie down, i will feel them. So dunno what to do.



babycoco: I also dunno why I felt like complaining. Maybe the unknown make me very nervous ba. Dun really like to "play" this waiting game.



Tomorrow is my 36wk exactly. So I guess if BB really come out today, should be fine ba. Just repack my hospital bag again. I wonder how come in hospital, they dun do ultrasound one. Sometime I wonder is BB fully engaged or not.

 


atomic kitten, my c-sect scheduled for 1pm. i'm going to see gynae at 9am on that day for ultrasound, and then admit to hospital. you must be doing your c-sect in the morning, that's why admit on fri? yup, i'm doing c-sect with epi. don't worry about bb's name. a few of my girlfriends also waited their bbs born to come up with a name.



ann, me too. i get very stressed out, when tummy hurts, i worry it's contraction, when i feel tightening of my tummy, i worry it's contraction. so relieved to finally get the go-ahead from gynae to do c-sect this sat. my blood sugar has been going up, gynae said too much stress.
