Hi mummies, popped out our baby girl at 630 this evening. Natural with epi. Small baby at 2.44 kg. Now cannot sleep coz wound quite painful. :p

congrats! Wah I m also afraid of the pain from the wound next time...



Btw, we have decided tat we wld be doing my confinement at our new place afterall. But only gg to shift in after I delivered n discharge from the hospital since we can't shift the bed before tat. But now we have a problem, cos we dun have a bed for our confinement lady... Do u think it's very bad if we just let her sleep on mattress on the floor?? N we also dun have spare cupboard for her to put her clothes in.

Peanut: congrats!! Every morning i look forward to logging in to see who has popped! Haha! Couldn't sleep much last night too, and it's such a great weather to sleep in. Couldn't sleep much cos I was worried. Baby whole day yesterday gave only gentle movements, unlike any other days when she's super active. Even at night, she's quite quiet, unlike normal nights. She's moving, but very subtle. I will monitor today.

Yesterday evening onwards, my bb gal also don move much, scare both me & DH.. Luckily, so far morning, she is kicking/moving fine..

 
Wah 10 mummies delivered already..



Left with Ann and Jaya which no news yet!



Most of us going to deliver at wek 37, 38 or 39.



Week 40 normally 10% only ..



Cant wait for next week as my gynae will decided whats best for me as BB is almost reaching week 37 by then. Daily headaches is not a joke. I dont like taking panadol daily to relief the pain. Its bad for the BB.

I am in my 35wks and 5 days now..

yesterday night my mum was telling me that my foot and leg start swelling.. and ask me to standby saying I will deliver soon...



2-4wks to go !!!

 
wow.. Those mummies who popped their edd are either same or later than mine.. Makes me nervous! I only scared my waterbag burst when im outside.. cos nw on leave le.. Been gg to mum's place daily!

 
Yvonne me too 35wks 5 days, legs start to swell last week already.



As long our face not swell we are safe. if face hand and legs swell than we have admit hospital for preeclampsia test.



I might be induced early july cause i have tendancy of high blood pressure. By then i am almost week 38 already, so bb is well develop.

Me also 35 weeks plus this week. But unlike you, my feet has been swelling since 2nd trim but this 1 week it was getting from bad to worse..so ppl also tell me its a sign too!

Had delivered kayden on 25 june @ 0044hrs @ mount A. Weigh 3.58kg and length is 49cm. Deliver via emergency c-sec w epi cos baby head too big.

Wah emergency c-sect does it mean u pay double? natural + Csect costs?

Dq: If c-sect with epi can, if with GA no cannot~. My swollen feet donno if got go off or not.. i nvr monitor. Don even wanna look at them =\

i think emergency c-sect some hospital allow some don't... but generally, c-sect w epi can go into OT.



these days my feet swelling. hands also swell... cannot wear my rings...

Haa, since my feet started to swell when i was in my late 2nd trim, it has been gg on and off..should have been more than 3 times liao. Then every night i will put my feet on the pillow when i sleep, so in the morning, the swell would be gone. But in the past 1 week, the swell did not go away completely. It still swells when i wake up in the morning and the swell gets worse during the day and by afternoon, every step i take is very painful..

ytd.. hubby was massaging my swollen hands and feet.. and suddenly, he went to my V area and say...



"Baby girl, where is papa hands?"



and baby started searching for it! OMG..but thats not all.. hubby said..



"there... follow the sound and come out, u can find my hands.. papa wanna sayang u, kiss u and carry u.. u follow the sound and come out.."



i started laughing non stop... WAHAHAHA...



and i think he got too much fun that since then, whenever he wants to talk to bb, he will open my legs and speak to my V!



WAHAHA... i think he is more kan cheong than me...

he even asked me..



"dear, i am thinking if u will wake me up tonight and tell me that the bed is wet and u wanna go deliver liao. i think liao i very scared."



WAHAHAHAHAHA...

ya my mum say its a sign but i juz msn wif one of my friend who deliver tis yr in apr.. she say hers was also swelling but bb still dont wan to come out .. at the end got induce at wk 39..

or it is normal to hv swelling at last trim...

cos seem like alot of us are facing same problem ...I even dont know i am swelling until my mum told me.. hahaha...



i try pressing 1 inches higher fr my ankle.. my tumb mark is still there for few sec ... haiz!!!

ya i cant fit into my wedding band since in my 7-8 mths pregnancy i give up stop wearing.. hopefully aft deliver still can fit in...

I guess Ann try to deliver bb naturally but if some unexpected case happen and gynae sense it he/she will suggest emgergancy c-section to deliver the bb ASAP...

 
ann, congrats! so happy for you. look forward to reading your birth story & seeing picts of kayden.

it's amazing that so many mummies are already holding their bbs in their arms. my turn tomorrow.

 
Yvonee - My bb head is down and his back is facing my tum tum, so i think easier labour just like the 2nd son.



1st son nightmare, his face is up during delivery so his shoulder is the one prevent me from pushing him out. The 1st son is a big bb at 3.75kg and due on his Due date 26 April 2001.



2nd son induced labour week 38 cause i had a fall and the water bag leak, not enough water and bb will be big if wait till 40weeks. He is born 3.45kg at week 38. Smooth 3 push out he goes.



Both babies i had epidural natural birth, painless birth. I can go shower and walk after few hours of delivery looking for my boys. Till the nurse shouted on both occasions. They worried i fainted while walking.



Now i heard new epidural which can lower or increase the dosage, so i am opting for it, cause i want to feel the pain and contraction.

 
jaclyn & jelly>> my gynae @ kk pte told me my husby cant follow into OT for e-csect.

scheduled csect can...

so sad rite? despite e-csect with epi & not GA.

tink it's the hospital policy... sigh...

 
DQ - Emergency i think they are more kanchiong so adding hubby present they will double kanciong lor. They dont want hubby to see their kanchiong face..

 


But weird hor, why e-csect cannot but plan csect can...imagine, e-csect with epi...we are awake but our hubby not with us..the feeling must be so scary man..
