Genesis, forgot to reply you. For RN massage, they'll come in the morning around 8+am so make sure you BF baby first cos she will do bb massage first (15mins) followed by mummy scrub/steam/shower/massage. Once she touches mummy, she can't touch baby cos her hands will be hot (due to jamu and ginger oil).
I also pump a few times a day only, not every time after latch. Sometimes because lazy, sometimes because I'm busy with no. 2 or need to have my meals. But my baby usually full after 15mins on 1 side, and 5-10 mins on the other side. Yesterday night, I pumped out 90ml even though I've latched her on. I'm surprised got 2nd letdown (usually after I squeeze to get the 'last' drops out) during pumping. Anyway, extra EBM I mix with FM for my no. 1 so won't be wasted. Oh ya, if you don't like to wear bra, can always stick the breast pads (I use pigeon only) on your blouse or t shirt.

babyshea, wow.. your D-day is very near le.. i think level 6 is much better then the newly renovated level 5.. at least the room is bigger. level 5 still can smell the new furnishing smell.. but im staying at 2 bedder. not sure bout other rooms tho..

Yunzz, the shampoo is spray kind. I used it but I dun really like the feeling leh. Use it for a day or 2 is fine bt for weeks, I cnt. Lol. It's like spraying powder n piles of them if use for weeks. I wash my hair everyday. Hee....

i'm still waiting too (wk38). so tired but he still dun want to come out. i was hoping for him to come out today too... 12/12 nice birth date... but i think no chance already.
meanwhile reading all the post here really prepares me for what's to come. btw saw this in youtube yesterday on "happiest baby on the block". U may want to try his method if ur baby is really cranky.

#1, the mensse returned nearly 5 months later.
i can see my bm has reduced when i've mense.
weight loss:
me too, need to jia u.
total gain 12kg, now still hv 5kg back to pre-preg weight.
tummy marks
i hv a straight brown line too. it will faded few months later.
latching
when latch on, the other side will start leaking. i will use a bottle to hold it. heehee! dun waste, to me my bm are so precious.
just to share, most of the time i latch on unless bb "oversleep".
when bb awake, will latch on a while n give ebm. this will help to empty my breast "thoro".
hope my bb will not reject my breast too soon. #1 refused to latch on his 4 month, believe drink from bottle is so much easier n faster.

augeleo - reali?? ur #1 refused to latch on?? mine like 2 weeks and now bb like so difficult to latch on... initially all oki.. then from ydae.. dunno y so difficult.. he is so fussy.. tried a lot of times then will latch on... or else he will fall asleep and then he will feed on one side onli.. damn sianz.. feel more and more demoralised..

Congrats mummy foo! Yes yes, my gynae is ade wong. U were the mummy tat I saw at the clinic? So glad to hear fat her csect skills r good. My csect is on Monday! Hope mine will be same as yours, not painful and fast recovery! U went for GA csect? Y u can't go for spinal or Epi csect?

Baby Shea & bluegal- I'm first time mummy too, had the same concerns as u ladies about labour, but trust me we will just know by ourself when it's about to due Mine is normal delivery, whole labour ard 6 hrs, to me the pain is like contispation ;p Anyway I looking forward to end confinement on coming tueday so ladies jia you!

Spoke to my gynae, he said he will discuss with me n hubby next appt which is 4 weeks time so by then I will have some answers from him. He said now too early to discuss anythin as I'm still bleeding n stitches still healing

roxy, you put on 16kg? but u still look quite small size. think u were very thin before pregnancy? sure can go back to pre-pregnancy weight..
me just went for checkup. dunno if baby engaged anot, cos gynae did not do a VE, she doesn't seem like doing it for me too. unless i say i wan to induce then she'll check for me.
now is still a waiting game lo.. but i dun seem to have any signs of labour.. baby doesn't seem to be very low.. sometimes got watery stools.. no water retention.. then no BH contractions also..

Pls get your hubby to bring not only a jacket but a thick jacket! Its very cold in the labour ward and also in the room that my wife stay in (2 bedded). I was freezing like crazy in the labour ward (over 12 hrs) and kept trying to pop out to get some heat when possible...
In both these places, i could not find a way to lower the air-con....

Had my check up today doc want to see me again on tues (got a feeling he will ask me go mt a during midnight and induce me on wed) the nurse told me usually he will ask patient to admit midnight ha ha if really induce wed then it will be my customary date! Just now did a ctg got a quite great contraction roughly now I know how it feels like..but still manageable kind of pain not intense kind

Hi decmum, is ur contraction high? ur pain tolerant must be high as u dun really feel it much...so u must be prepare for induction next week
i heard that normally gyane will advise to admit at midnight for induction...good luck
