mstan, my epi abit wasted la. cos i inject liao less than few mins ah, my doc asked me to start pushing already. if you wan epi, take early..

Bluegal, it was said so la.. And also contact lens, etc. But in the end, they never ask me to remove also. lolx..
 
icic...i tink 1 bedded very popular...premier room should always be available...

i haf yet to learn how to use my avent steriliser..will go read instructions later!

So meaning no matter what I must remove my ring? Did the nurse check? Or the jewellery will affect those medical equipment reading? Wanted to ask gynae but forget to ask, most probably he'll ask me try to remove it.
 
yunzz, mstan, I stayed 3 days 2 nights. But my friend ah, she stayed 4 bedded, natural then ended up c-sect, her bill was 8k.. faint.. For c-sect normally stay one more day..

Bluegal, I think so but hor, for me, the nurses never check leh. I also never remove my contact lenses..
 
ainsley_yip : yr frd stayed at only 4-bedded &amp; ended emerg c-sec &amp; bill already $8K ? So much ? Then how much cash she need to fork out ? Oh dear, I very scared if such situtaion happen to me....I will be worse becos intend to stay at 1-bedded with HB as companion....;p....wat if bb need to stay at NICU or need to stay additional 1-3 days for jaundice then my bill be super high liao....

mstan, ya.. I was also shocked at her bill but then if natural turns to c-sect, it's the cost of 2 surgery. As for the cash wise, I help you ask her.. Think she paid a few K cash... Her bill really very ex.. somemore 4 bedded..Dun worry so much.. baby will be very good girl and you will have a smooth delivery..

I only scared need to hv emerg c-sect then bill will be high &amp; common that bb hv jaundice &amp; need to stay additional days at hospital also....;p
 
mstan, ya.. it will be higher than hers but I duno by how much. Hmm.. my bb has slight jaundice but sunbath then ok liao.. it's quite normal to have a bit of jaundice cos their liver not mature enough to breakdown certain things..
My PD told me not to take those wine (DOM), chinese herbs and tonic for the 1st week (peak for jaundice) cos i total breastfeed.
 
Mummies, reaching my Week 38...yst bb very active but today i feel that bb not moving much ...shld i go down to do a scan? a bit worrying
 
Vivi55-my edd is 17 Dec.

got one mummy talks abt LS, me suffered from LS from last week till wed, yesterday no more LS. I also dunno why, cos stop LS, I didnt tell gynae abt my LS.

Today went for checkup, bb head engaged, then gynae do VE, zero dilation. Gynae arranged 17 dec for appt, but he said 16 Dec also can, so I chose 16 Dec, if still zero dilation, my gynae said may offer me c sect cos if he induce me, I may have to go through long labour hrs, then in the end emer c sect. So 16 Dec see how lah.
Btw I got more frequent menses cramp feeling, i think shd be contractions bah...

That's me, having diarrhea for days liao. And miu miu replied that LS means bb will be out soon. My baby also engaged liao, now waiting as well. Same here being having menses cramp too.
 
yuki - if u tink reali lesser movement, u better call ur gynae oredi...
i chose epidural cuz i wan my hubby to be in the operating theatre and i wan to c my bb immediately.... it depends on wat u wan.. c-sect wif epidural is not painful... i tink its better oso..

Jo - u can latch now.. massage then latch.. will have lotz of milk.. tink ur breasts r engorged now..
 
Me yesterday also having pain at lower tummy hubby ask is it contraction I also dun know just feel lower tummy tight and pain..tomorrow seeing gynae in the noon..
 
DecMum - u monitor thru the nite.. if reali too painful, cal the emergency line for ur gynae!! Update us!!

Jo - u still in hospital? u shd ask the nurses in tmc.. have u attended any class??
 
twinstars - ya.. there is one class onli.. but we can always ask the nurses there... they will teach us how to latch etc.. when i was in premier single.. the nurses reali help mi a lot..

joanna.. we same same, put on so much weight.. so depressing, no 2 seems more difficult to lose weight than no 1...


miumiu, i rather only put on 9.5kg than 16... u left 3.5kg super easy to lose de...
 
thanks mstan..i called mdm ida..she's packed till Mar 2010 liao..she recommended Mdm Nor to me..has anyone used her before? is she good?

yunzz - nope.. they will be at the nursery.. until they nid milk if u r under total bf.. and they will push to u.. then after bf.. mi will ask them to take back to nursery... u must rest well during the stay.. cuz at hm.. there is no time to rest.. ha!

My edd is 14 dec, went gynae checkup this afternoon and cervix still not open yet. bb is low but duno if she is engaged anot. Gynae ask me to chose either tomr or Monday to induce. I chose tomr! coz the date nicer mah. 12/12/09

Gonna admit tonight at 1230am...so scared n excited at e same time. 1st time so duno wat to expect....hope I can sleep when they insert e pill to induce. I brought a lot of snacks there to eat, in case hungry no energy to push. haha, like picnic sia...lol.

Hope my natural birth will be a success! Short n sweet!=p

I will join the moomoo club v soon....
 
Miumiu my gynae no ermergency line he said if got one of the 3 things happen (bleeding, waterbag burst or contraction every 5 min) then go straight to mount a, the nurse will contact him, if cervix has soften he will induce me if not then I guess got to wait

Please drink a bottle of chicken essence before you go for your delivery, and don't eat too full.....just in case.....
 
Bluegal, I brought 3 bottle of chicken essence &amp; put in my bag already. hehe but haven drink yet. Thinking go hospital den drink...but scared I cant sleep after drinking oso. My gynae say she will only come at 8am tomr to burst my waterbag den contractions will kick it. Before that shld be no pain n can sleep....

45 more mmin before I leave my hse for hospital...scary!
