Yuki, my hubby also lor cos we stay only 5 mins walk from mil house. But u told him if we got to wait for ils to have dinner n bil to come back n have dinner (he always works late) before we can go home, end up come home at 10+pm at night then I rather bring Bb back earlier. At least my own house more comfortable mah. :p
 
Ivy, thx for the new Raycop Hera info. sigh.. now I'm confused on which model. I just did a google and didn't get much review on Hera yet. I guess it is still very new. I might go for the original Smart model then.

Robovac, thx for your update. Really appreciate your intro of this model otherwise I wouldn't hv known this product. I'll get it from Carrefour then. Cheers.

btw, do u hv a similar product as car vacuum?

Miu, I know how you feel.. me also weekend parent like Yuki and go over to my mum's place to see baby after work.. but sometimes if work end too late really too tired then will not go over already. Given the time spent, I also feel that my baby closer to my mummy &amp; daddy than me.. sometimes I do feel very jealous that they seem to understand my baby more than I do.. but also no choice. I try to cherish the time spent bonding with him &amp; during weekends too.. but having said that, sometimes during weekends when he very naughty and make me so bek cek and I feel so consolated that Im not SAHM..
 
miumiu, i oso scared someday my boy will prefer my mil over me.. so i keep trying to spend time n care for him as much as i can.. then wkend when i'm at my mom's place, i will pass to my mom.. :p for me to rest, n my boy to bond with my mom... cos nowadays he will frown n cry when see my mom..

Yuki: wow... we both live woodlands n work at novena area. Mayb in future got chance to hv lunch together one. Mayb we see each other b4 just tat we dun know each other.

Manunited: same same here... my boy always laugh whenever he see his daddy like v v happy like tat. When see mi only smile at mi.
 
shokel, if cot sheet is ok. because the bedding set comes with the comforter, which is quite thick so the shipping will be high. cot sheet should be less than $5. let me know soon, if you want to order anything from babymallonline k? thanks!

miumiu, don't worry.. mil spend more time with your boy thats why. initially my girl also prefers my mum, and when i try to hint to carry her, she got no response, but when my mum hinted she wanted my mum to carry. but i quite expected it, coz i really didn't spend time with her. recently try to play more with her, then its better .. i think kids will still stick to their parents - coz got live examples from my nieces. sometimes when i think from my mum's point of view, i think my mum will also feel sad if her grandchild not close to her after she put in so much effort to take care of them. so i don't feel that bad..

my girl also prefers my hubby more, although she sees me more. maybe thats the traits of a bb girl lor.. haha.. prefer guy guy.. and maybe my hubby knows how to play with her.. keke. but i feel its ok la, same family, nothing to be jealous about..

ainsley, robovac.. last night on the way home, my hubby and i had a bet where will our irobot be? keke.. but in the end, we had 2 stand.
1. our robot got stuck somewhere (try to climb over something).
2. go round and round until battery flat.

and results: (1)

today we are going to try again... hahaha!
 
Mummies, ask u all, do u all follow exact schedule for the 6 in 1 jabs? Is it ok to do slighly later (say 6.5/7mths instead of 6mth), esp for the last jab? Was wondering if better for bb?

Mummies who started semi solids around 5 mths, how is it going? Babies prefer semi solid to milk? Do u let bb drink milk 1st then give a bit of semi-sold?

There are always some items like base of stand fan and some cloth that will obstruct roomba. Just try to find out what are those things and try to make it roomba friendly by shifting or using the virtual wall and you would have a good working Robomaid

Gg lee, my boy is havin 1 feed of rice cereals per day normally is b4 milk time. Will b introducing fruit purée to him soon bah
 
Genesis, thanks! Rice cereal must cook? I saw some with Si Shen (like yu yan san) must cook one, then there is also those organic types seems like instant.
 
gg, i think when you make appt with PD for the next jab, they should be able to advise you whether it is ok to have it earlier or later. why don't you check with your PD? as far as i know, rotavirus jab got expiration one, means if bb too old then cannot take liao.. my friend told me when she wanted her girl to take during 8 months, the PD say cannot liao..
but rota is optional..

my mum cook brown rice porridge water to make milk for my girl.. haven't start semi solid yet..

Jaclee, thanks. Ya, for rotavirus, after 6mths no need to take already. We din let bb take rotavirus.

I'm thinking more of the 6 in 1 jab, cos old folks keep saying the jab gets stronger and stronger...so am wondering if ok to take final jab slighly later..1st 2 jabs we very on the ball..

Your mum started introducing new food already. I also tempted to start but scared dunno bb ready ma..

my colleague juz given birth yday to bb boy at gleneagles, gg to hospital visit her later with some other colleagues.. these colleagues went to visit me in hospital when i gave birth too.. feel so nolstagic.. hahah.. so fast already nearly 5 months liao..

My boy going for his last dose in Jun (6.5mths) cos doc not in spore plus his schedules damn pack lo...i think shld be ok..no diff whether at 6th mth or more than 6th mth...

I gave my boy the instant rice cereal for a wk already..he is ok with it...yday i tried avocado too..he also seems ok...but i dun like avocado taste myself yet i give to my boy..i want to train him to eat anything and everything..dun be like me...not a food adventure and so quite boring lo...

yuki, i find my maid not bad...at least she looks after my boy well...our 1st priority..that my boy is chubby chubby lo...hahahhaha...she is indo, can speak abit english and i can speak abit malay and sometimes use hand to demo lor. she is here for 4mths already...

I am not jealous of my boy liking his papa more..but my fil keeps telling everyone in front of me (not one time only lo...a few times liao)that my boy laughs very happily (got sound) whenever he sees his papa..but actually sometimes when i play with my boy, he also laughs till got sound type...and when i use my hands to want to carry him, he also happily move forward towards me to bao bao...but my fil never tells other pple abt this.

I got my raycop smart from Carrefour liao. The free filter comes 3-in-a-pack.

I've checked and there's no dust bag (as confirmed by Robovac also).
Instead of a bag, it is actually a cartridge that can be taken out to clean, along with the filter.

No auntie was interested in my self-demo. I tried to shake my head but no fallen hairs, so didn't get the chance to try hair vaccuming. But hor, I don't think this product is good on hair vacuum since it is not a conventional vacuum cleaner. Its suction power is low and chances are that it will clog at the vacuum inlet.


1 funny thing I read from the user manual:
while cleaning the filter, pls use a conventional vacuum to remove any debris from it.
kind of funny when u r told to use a vacuum to clean another vacuum's filter.

Just a small joke on this lah, cos this product is designed to clean bedding etc and not as a conventional vacuum.
This is another point to note when u exclaimed why the cartridge is so small (about 2-3 times the size of the mouse u r holding now).

Here's another note from the manual:
New mattress: use Raycop once every month
Used mattress: use Raycop daily for the first week and then once every month.

I think I will use more often than that lor. =p

I'll let u all know after a few usage of it.
