sling is reali one of the best thing... even my hbby knows how to use it.. though not too sure if we use the correct method...
cos we used to sling #1 to sleep...

haf used only few times for #2 as i dun wan her to depend on it..
here's the first time we use it on #2 when she turn full month n we went to buy a cake for her..

This was taken more than 2 yrs ago when i start to sling my #1... (is this the correct way???)

Basically, u need to sit down...
1. position the sling
2. Using 1 hand to put baby in and another hand to pull the sling... (the baby head wlll be outside the sling)
3. To make it more comfortable, trying adjusting by pulling 1 side then another until u n baby r comfortable..
4. It's done.. so u move ard with ur arm supporting the head..
5. If ur baby is sleepy, then u pull the sling to put the baby head into the sling (there shd be more than enuff cloth).. cos if not sleepy, usually baby want to see see look look n not hid inside the sling...

sandy - size 2 teats is the one for 1 - 3 months one is it? am using that one currently with avent bottles, but then hor, i find that the hole for avent teat is super small, thus he finds it hard to suck, i always cut a bit bigger de...
 
weiting, avent teats is super small!! its hairline flow, which they quoted they mimic the flow of the breast. i used to cut bigger but very mafan. i change to nuk teats. much better. and because the teats flow is so slow, my boy sucks in alot of air instead.
 
jeanie, yah lor, initially i thought it was good sia.. sian, but nuk teats can fit avent bottles? i dont want to buy bottles leh.. cos still got a lot of avent bottles, what kind of nuk teats did u buy?

My baby is sleeping longer intervals at night and drinks less milk at night. He used to suck my 2 breasts dry but now will fall asleep after sucking 1 side, so my breast feels engorged now. It's the first time I feel engorged coz my ss never meet his demand. My breast seems lumpy. Wat shld I do? Shld I pump or latch bb? Or need to massage?
 
Ivy, finally my lump is cleared by my girl.. Bt my girl quite cranky these 2 days. Duno y. Usually she can entertain herself for abt half an hr if she is full. Bt these 2 days always wan carry.

i use the sling same method n position as u.

Next Monday me going back to office to work for 1 day. If not I don't mind meeting up at orchard.
 
sharon, mine is recovering damn SLOW.. but got a wee bit better.. GP gimme gel and ask me rest but how to rest? haiz..

i got piles argh!!!! went to GP once but act smart dun wan put med. cuz i very scare to put med in the ass. now got more blood. think gotta go back again!

its an insert at the ass. Not oral. Safe for bf cos its for external use mah. Gynae prescribe to me aft gving birth cos piles got worst n pain aft all the pushing done. Had oral one but i finish le. Now my piles ok already. Had it during pregnancy for both no1 n 2.

hello.. just wana check, if on tbf in the day, once FM at night, then bb dun poo isit normal? cos my bb everyday got poo one leh, if one day nvr poo isit normal?

hw will we knw if our bb is nt suitable for certain FM?
 
lileen, hw long does it takes to recover? gotta avoid heaty stuffs or not? the med isit white colour, abit like rocket shape?
 
shokel, one day nv poo is ok de. just monitor what colour and texture is the next poo..

normally, bb will be constipated or diahorrea if not suitable for certain FM.. not sure if theres other symptoms..

jeanie, yes white n rocket shape de. Abt 1mth aft birth then ok already. I suppose i am still eating heaty stuff cos on confinement fd mah. U hv it during preggy time also?
 
oh yah! must be refrigerated.. how many pcs u have? im staying at bukit panjang. where u stay? maybe can ask my hb to pick up if he pass by..
 
i use avent teats #2.. so far ok leh..

back from my mom hse, bb can sleep quite well there, on sofa!! i think my mom house cooler..

i use the mim sarong just now.. still not easy.. baby bjorn easier.. but dunno whether really bad for her spine.

Piles.. no one can be more serious than mine, i need to go remove it ok.. but i still have not went for it.

miiumiu, alone no good. can be insane... esp when baby keep crying, and u cant have some time to breath. I got my piles worsen cos i was alone, and having constipation, in toilet for almost half an hr and still cannot push out haha.. then bb cry and i push so hard that my episiotomy area open up after 1 mth liao leh. Gynae also say dunno how hard i push... sigh. Anyway hopefully by this week will be totally heal.

miu - yes i agree with you, i really admire mummies who are taking care of babies alone all by themselves.. for me, definitely cannot.. actually feel quite sad even now i cannot handle baby alone.. just now my baby cry till very jialat my mother very kan cheong came in and then say how come i dont know how to console my baby.. sigh at that moment really feel useless...
