will like to check with u ladies, did u put breastpads at home?so far I had used up almost 4 boxes, don't like to wet my top but my friend said actually at home no need to put, don't waste so will like to heard more advises!
 


Also any recommendation where to get/ order/ shop online for family tees? Any mummies order from any where n have good comments before? Share share

yes not very nice, so we are very disappointed. Even my CL ever ask, do i have a mil... she tot i dun have haha.

I think its good to have a play date for our babies to interact, good for their development. Im on.
 
shaine, think depends if u leak a lot bah. Cos if keep leaking n u dun put very messy leh. But if dun leak then ok. I nv put at hm too cos seldom leak. Or u cld buy washable type or collection shell. So collect already still can store.
 
hmm meetup is great!! so looking forward to it!! Any mummies living in the central area and have big living room to spare?? We can organise at the mummy's hse! I have a few friend in March thread, they have it around once a month

Lileen- collection shell sounded interesting!! i dunno about it, where to buy and how's it work... hehe abit mountain tortise, i only know the disposable and washable one. but i can't seem to find the washable one at Kiddy Palace leh..

i live in toa payoh, baby room is empty cos i shift the cot to my bed, but not very big, living room ok size. i think 3rd month our baby more stable, so tat time will be good.

i use breastpad at home. im 24/7 wearing bra cuz i dun like to wet my clothes. my breast will starts to leak when the nipples come in contact with my loose fitting tshirt. i use both disposable and washable. personally prefer washable type.

im on for the playmates too!! sounds exciting~!
 
Hey Ivy, did Fenugreek help?? Me very low supply also and partly myself to blame ..I dun latch/pump every 2-3 hrs like some of u gals so hardworking.

For those who can't total bf, dun get too sad . As long got try your best, I think is fine. Most impt is to be happy. My hubby quite supportive both ways, whether bm or fm. In fact I think he feels my boy was hogging my breasts initially...and he din like the idea

shaine, if u want to be cost effective, at home, u can use the baby hankies and place them inside ur bras. it can absord real well.
 
sighz.. dunno why suddenly got fever.. 38.4degrees.. dun think it's due to engorgement... i go GP he will oso prescribe panadol right? so might as well take panadol at home?

i can still breastfeed my bb right?

GG, not sure if it helps leh. Cos my milk ss did increase, but could be also i kept direct latch and pump during the 2 weeks tat was super low ss... now i bit lazy to pump everytime after i BF. But i guess no harm eating. That tea that roxy buying got fenugreek also i think.

any mummies experiencing their babies napping time span is short??

for me my boy these 2 days,when he's napping in the afternoon he tend to fall asleep say 15-30mins thenhe will wake up n start crying...then after awhile he seems hungry...dunno is it bcoz of his jab for hep b yesterday leh...

any mummies has any idea y??

Actually can have the playdate at my place if u all don't mind. Living room not very big but can put 2 Small Small World bumper playmat. Have got 2 of those mats so we can leave bb on the mats hehe. But I'm staying more central west, clementi area. Maybe can make it end feb?
 
Thanks all for sharing, I also nearly had depression and for the first 2 weeks, can tear easily. I guess it's the unexpected, total lifestyle change, exhaustion and unknown that contributed to it. Insensitive people/relatives/inlaws/parents made it worse. Sharing here helps to keep me sane as I realise the others are going through the same experience.

As for the 3rd month celebration, I am fine with anytime anywhere. Good timing to have it in March as we will all have some experience bringing the baby out in during Chinese New Year already.

My boy has been like that since last week. He only took his jab today, so I don't think it's the jab. I think for my boy is he wants to be carried. He will fall asleep when I carry him. But once I put him down on the bed, he will sleep for 10-30 mins and he will cry non stop after that. Feeling so stressed taking care of him alone these few days

totally same thing!! He will fall asleep when I carry him. But once I put him down on the cot, he will sleep for 10-30 mins and he will start crying...its really irritating...arrghhh...now i still have my CL (i extend her for 1 more month scare i cannot handle) to share the load..alamak like tat chiat luck when she go back last week of this month die la!!!

so what did you do Tris or any mummies has remedy for it??
 
hello mummies, have been a silent reader all this while and would like to join in to chat in this forum now that bb have settled down at home. I had given birth to a boy on xmas eve. Look forward to chatting with all mummies here!
 
my boy don really sleep tight these few days in day time, not sure y...when u carry him, he sleep like very sweet, when u put him down on bed, half an hour later he awake le. just now only said my boy was slept and i can sleep too, who knows turn around the head, he woke up le...sigh....
now also, keep on ngee ngee ngek ngek on the bed, i know he's very sleepy le, but he just don wish to sleep...
 
really feel like being mummy is not easy..haha...cheers for all mummies for being so 'wei da'...

let us gone tru the sad, depress, happiness, touch, tears etc etc etc together ba!! =)
 
mummies using freestyle, what level are you r using?? for stimulation and expression phase? the suction like not beli strong le...
do you all press let down before the 2 min??
 
same thing! W.Joe my boy also ngee ngee ngek ngek on the bed, he will stretch himself here n there like cannot stay put like tat....he will look around here n there then after awhile he know tat he's not being carry then he will start crying...

so any mummies has any success stories to share about this problem that we are having

baby crying... My no 1 extremely bad. Day n nite also like that. Put down go toilet also cry. Remedy... Dun think mst mummies here will do wat i do. I juz let him cry. He cried non stop 4 2.5 days till he got no voice. Aft that he ok already.
 
Mushloom,nw I dun swaddle my boy 2nd week on wards didn't swaddle liao my boy doesn't seems to like it.

i m currently using disposable breastpads too.

Milk collection shells when worn underneath tshirts look funny, like 2 hard coconut husks, hahaha! But it does the work.
 
Mushloom
I did swaddle him. But his hands will come out no matter how tight I wrap. I tried to put him in sarong also no use. He'll still wake up n cry. Maybe will try lileen's method of letting him cry.
I thought of doing e taimaobi for my bb only now. They will come to our house to shave bb hair right?
