Me also planning to bring laptop cos I booked single bedded. But sekali, TMC full and end up in 2-bedded or 4 bedded, then my laptop become white elephant liao.
Wonder if Ainsley managed to get a single bedded ward.

An update on my visit to gynae on Thursday. Am into my 35wks...baby weigh 2.8kg, all is well but baby is into breech condition! She turn back into head up position again...and water level is abit low. My next appointment with my gynae is on 7th Dec, if by 7th Dec baby turn head down, I will be induce on 9th Dec- natural birth with epidural.. however if she remains in breech condition, then I have no choice but to go for C sect on 14th Dec.
Also, Im in Mount Alvernia now...bad bad...my #1 was diagnosed with HFMD. He is now in ward and with drip....what a week of bad news!!!

miumiu: i've booked the massage lady whom my friend has used, not sure abt the mkt rate but i think she is quite exp, 550 for 7 sessions. 1hr/session, will start 1wk after birth.
mummyfel - still early.. hope ur bb will turn soon.. oh no.. HFMD for #1?? u must be beli tired taking care of him and oso findin time to rest!! must take care leh!!
canopy - ya.. urs is considered more x i tink.. the usual rate is abt $50 per session i tink..

mummyfel, hope your bb will turn soon. My no. 1 got HFMD when she was 11 months plus too. Really heartpain to see her suffer. Hope he'll get well and can discharge soon.
I booked Rustic Nirvana's home massage package this time. For my no. 1, I found a masseur through BP thread but not so reliable. Had to wait for her to celebrate CNY first, then after 3 sessions, she stopped coming, said I don't need anymore cos already slimmed down.
Waiting for hubby to come back with supper. Mac's new Teriyaki chicken burger.
I shouldn't be eating supper since bb may get too big but can't resist cos during confinement, a lot of things cannot eat.

Miumiu, RN's home massage package is not cheap but the promotion was one for one ie. 5 times home massage (incl bb massage, steam bath & binder) + 5 times post natal massage/wrap at their spa came up to be almost $1k. But I got a free 1N stay at Amara Sanctuary resort, Sentosa during the promo so if factor that in, price more bearable lor.

miumiu, just finished the Mac teriyaki chicken burger. The meat is nice and tender but find the sauce a bit peppery so still prefer Mos's teriyaki burger (though I find it too small). Haha.
Yup, we brought our gal along for her first hotel stay. Thought she'll have difficulty adjusting to new bed and environment but she likes the mirrored wall and the bubble bath so much.
carol, I see, my bb is now 3.2 kg. If wait until my EDD, think she'll be at least 3.5 kg. Jia you, hope you can deliver naturally.

Miumiu, I love the Jap mayo and even the onion goes so well with the teriyaki chicken. Yum yum!
My room was a standard room, no breakfast but good enough lar. We took the monorail to Vivo city for breakfast at Marche instead.

Roxy, that's good. But I thought got SS then will have engorgement unless there's blockage.

pauline... got engorgement but cannot really pump out a lot...just managed to pump out than slightly more than noon sessions, so hoping ss is coming...feeling better after pumping, if not so painful.. getting used to freestyle suction so finding it better now...leg swelling will go down soon de!! then u will be complaining abt engorgement haha

Gd morning mummies.
Doctor came to see my #1 this morning. Still need to stay for 1 more day. He is still on drip. Mouth is full of ulcer, cant eat and drink.. cry the whole night..very heartpain.
Extremely tiring...only slept few hrs...counting down to my delivery day as well.. By the way the renovation work ongoing at Mount Alvernia is extremely disturbing.... : (

I din noe must bring container to sterlise pump, gosh really everything is $, tink nowadays all the hosp r the same ald. Ask for anything oso $, last time I stayed at Mt E for my fibriods surgery oso everything $......

kids usually suffer lesser than adults for hfmd.
they'll recover faster & the effects on them not tt jia-lat.
my personal experience.

the milder & more gentle levels?
i tried switching on my sis' freestyle, sounded v powerful leh.
