not all bbs will get a fever after the jab. even if have fever, some mild some can get quite high. so depends. PD usually will ask u if u need the paracetamol i think.
my gal is sticking out her tongue too. not to worry, its normal! u probably sometimes stick out your tongue too unconsciously. they're just monitoring and copying our actions.

yeah. hubby finally know i m getting sick with taking care of bb alone. juz now he doze off with bb dozing off on him =p 2nd time he pacified bb to sleep. not sure wat's wrong wtih my boy. but de number 3 seems scary to me. my boy's getting more n more troublesome. crying out loud when he's not getting wat he wants, must be pacified to sleep -_-

intially i give my boy SImilac then find out his is allergy to normal cow milk. so we change to soy milk but then alot of 3gu6po tell my mom soy milk not good, will grow very fat etc etc ( no offence, not i say de, is 3gu6po say de.. haha). So i kanna nag until bo bian we try out NAN HA. Heng ar... he is ok with that.
same as urs, starting he poo 4-6times a day.... then 2-3 times. now once aday le. actually poo lesser better ma, dont nid to clean the poo poo, veri smelly leh =P btw he is 3month 5day, i think so... hahahaa.

my flu was actually ok liao, but it seems it came back again. so sian. my temp everyday hovering ard 37.3, not like its hot, but usually i meansure is like 36.5 one. so zzz -_

mama6 : dosage for paracetamol in children is 10mg per kg body weight. So Jed should be taking 76mg. If you have the standard child paracetamol, its dilution is 120mg per 5mls. So he can actually take 3mls quite safely, 4-6hourly as needed.

After the "magical" night, if baby wakes up, can just feed him water.. then soon he will be able to sleep through the night.. It worked for my #1 but #2 and #3 never work.. #4 just auto sleep through at 2 weeks so never try too...
But for #2, I only train when she was about 5 months old.. when she wake up, just dun give milk.. very tiring cause she will cry and cry but just bear with it for less than 1 week, then she slept through the night already...

<font color="9264ff00"> Giving Baby water</font> - For BFd babies, no need drink water one.. but for mine cause will randomly have 1 bottle of FM, so I will give my baby water... After bath, I normally give 60ml of water mix with 5ml of the Woods water. Then after that seldom give water liao...
<font color="9264ff00"> My boy</font> - very funny one.. he himself got a "quota" on how much milk to drink at his last feed... if he never hit that "quota", even if he fell asleep when latching, once I put him down, he will wake up... but once he hits his "quota", he will go into deep sleep and become very very "nua" and I can put him in any position I want and he won't wake up till the next day.. hahahah
But the problem is, his "quota" is never the same... lol.. so I cannot load him with that amount of EBM.. so at night the only thing I do is either latch him A LOT of times or give EBM 120ml, then give 60ml and see if he wants more then give another 60ml... lol
Now he's finally sleeping and will only wake up earliest 7am, latest 11am.. hahaha

So I always say, my golden boy give gold (golden poo)... lol I also very "teng" him just bought 2 toys for him at Robinsons.. lol
1 Mini table carousel and one stroller bar.. spent like $80+ loh.. that's why I see got Infantino sale, I a bit heart pain.. scared tomorrow go see similar things that costs a fraction of what I paid.. hahahah

It was reported in the local news last yr tt research hv shown bb under 6 mths old shld not be given any water unless in cases of constipated or other medical needs
The dangerous combination of a strong sucking reflex, and immature kidneys, it's easy for an infant to take in too much water and throw off the body's sodium level enough to affect brain activity resulting in seizure & water intoxication.
It takes very little water to lead to water intoxication in babies and tiny tots. As little as three ounces a day could be too much water for a child under a year old</font>

managed to nap from 1030 till now. shiok! but whole body still aching. argh!
in desperation, i put sam on his tummy to sleep. he'll cry after less than half an hr! after 2x, i put him on his rocker n switched on the vibration to stop him bawling. who knew he slept for 1.5h on it!

sam's temp hit 38deg after his bath the day after the jab. not sure if bathwater too hot! but i ks gave him 1 dose n no more fever after that.

oh yeah, MIL keeps mentioning that when SIL's BB had jaundice n they went to Polyclinic to do blood test, the PD also said not to drink water. But SIL went to ask the nurses n the nurses said shd give lots of water to flush ou the jaundice. MIL keeps saying that the nurses are old & experienced & the docs are young n dunno anything.
I find it very weird that she'd rather believe a bunch of nurses than the doc lor. Guess she wants to believe whoever sings the same tune as her? Seriously, I find SIL weird too. Why pay $$ to see doc if she just wants to ask a bunch of old nurses (no offense)

So just now after i change him in korkor's room, i wanted carry him to our room to sleep, he dunwan to let me carry, kept dodging instead of stretching out his arms. So I ask him if he wanted to sleep there tonight, he smile at me wor.
Then really, within 10min from the time i left the room, not a single squeak, then fall asleep le.

Keegan is sleeping in korkor's room, but in his own cot. Korkor sleeps in the toddler bed. THey not sharing same bed/cot lah.

I realise kids are very funny creatures. To us the fish may all look the same, but they will specially love one the most. I also dunno why. Like how J play with these chopsticks, and they all look the same one lor! But he's got a favourite one. *faints*
I have the same issues with cot bumpers like you, which is why I'm trying to get the distribution rights for this AMAZING bumper that confirm guarantee baby's limbs won't get stuck between the bars. Hurhur. Wish me luck, okay?

So just now after i change him in korkor's room, i wanted carry him to our room to sleep, he dunwan to let me carry, kept dodging instead of stretching out his arms. So I ask him if he wanted to sleep there tonight, he smile at me wor.
Then really, within 10min from the time i left the room, not a single squeak, then fall asleep le.

Josh is a big boy leh, he wont' throw it around one mah, so never had to secure it. But I guess maybe you can tie a leash/string or smthg around the giraffe's neck?
Keegan is sleeping in korkor's room, but in his own cot. Korkor sleeps in the toddler bed. THey not sharing same bed/cot lah.

I realise kids are very funny creatures. To us the fish may all look the same, but they will specially love one the most. I also dunno why. Like how J play with these chopsticks, and they all look the same one lor! But he's got a favourite one. *faints*
I have the same issues with cot bumpers like you, which is why I'm trying to get the distribution rights for this AMAZING bumper that confirm guarantee baby's limbs won't get stuck between the bars. Hurhur. Wish me luck, okay?
