Well... both have sufficient oil I reckon. It's more of a knee jerk reaction if anything. They've got money everywhere so I doubt it'll be allowed to just fall.

i'm taking all the ML mah, and clearing annual leaves and childcare leave in btw lor.. that's y drag till end Jan.. tentative date is 27th.. thinking if i want to make it 1st feb.. anyway need to confirm on the date cos my leave schedule is in a mess since i deliver 1 wk earlier cos applied to start ML on my EDD lor but now gotta shift ML one wk earlier. wonder if the date of returning to work will still be the same.

according to books, dreamfeed can stop when bb is around 7 to 8months or when solid food is firmly established... but for my #1, think she only stop taking dreamfeed ard 11-12months old keke

if bb have been sleeping through after dreamfeed, and suddenly wake up for milk, it means growth spurt... usually last few days. or it may oso means, ur bb is not having enuff milk during the day time. so gotta increase milk intake... but u are latching.. so difficult to guage how much ur bb is drinking...

DUnno leh, i never go and think so much. Milk Tray instructions say use ziploc then I use ziploc lor. But then again, if we can store food like sandwiches etc in ziploc, I don't see why cannot store milk sticks? But if you wanna pour EBM into it, I dunno how leak-proof that would be lor. You go try then you tell us, ok?

my boy is 3mths 6 days old...finally reached the magical 3rd mth but he still wakes up like twice a nite
i swaddle him to sleep every nite...the nite before he tried to sleep on his side
so i decided nt to swaddle him last nite but he started to wake up every 2 hrs!
im goin back work next week...cannot tahan if he cont waking up at nite
shld i cont to swaddle him? if nt hw to make hm feel secure during sleep?
do u all still swaddle ur bb?

Try to stand yr frozen milk in water den leave it in e fridge to thaw, mine only take bout 2-3 hrs to thaw. Once thaw it has to be finished within 24hrs... If u try &amp; it taste fine den shldn't be a problem.

I've nv try to let Jed nap in it leh. It's always just to change diaper or to clean him up. My #2 does lie on it to drink milk then his head will be full of sweat after it. Duno if it's due to e plush pad or is just him lah

We hv stopped swaddling Jed unless he fuss @ nite. Wat we do is to let him sleep on his side w a bolster. He seem to sleep better &amp; longer.</font>

My girl also doesn't like pacifier. If we "force" her to suck on the pacifier, she gets very angry. But when at nanny's, she is more willing to suck on pacifier. Maybe at home, she knows there are mummy's boobs waiting, so rejects the pacifier :)

According to my PD, baby girls develop faster than boys, eg, girls are earlier to turn, have stronger neck, etc. But I guess, that's just a general comment lor. Each baby is still different lah. Same as the verbal skill.

I hv been training my bb to sleep thru fm 8pm/8.30pm to 7am. So far,today is 1st time so successful. Normally he will wake up at 5am or 6 am for his feed. Din dream feed my bb in the nite..my hardship finally paid off,hope he will continue to do so.
 
marc is still waking up twice in the night at 12 weeks and 1 day old. he slept at 9+, so tried to dreamfeed at midnight, but he refused to suck. very funny. just lay there with teat in mouth. woke up after that and quietly played on his own. fed him at 1am instead. then he woke up at 4am and 6:20am. sigh.

now he's refusing to nap either despite being very tired. can't put him down or he'll wail. sigh sigh sigh. grumbles while in arms, even with the pacifier in his mouth. dunno what to do with this rascal!
 
btw mummies, when are we going back to Zhou's kitchen for makan? i still have the voucher plus another $10 novena shop voucher for buying manduca.

Mine already past the "magic" 3 mths mark 3 wks ago, but also wake up twice every night. The magic mark doesn't work for everyone. Personally I always felt 4mths was more of a magic mark for me, so I'm still waiting!

Same here. Mine has also past the "magic" 3 months mark 2 weeks ago, and she is still wakes up twice every night :) I don't expect miracle anyway since my #1 only slept throught the night when he was 10 month.
