Just got it. Later shall go & try to figure out how to fix the wheels haha. I liked the lime green & orange ones too, but hubs din like. Luckily he quite likes the red, else I'll be stuck with black/grey.

haha. i use 50 glass bottles, den try to give bb feeds from glass bottles. really no choice den i use milkbag. but oredi no choice many times. my milkbags oso taking up one drawer in freezer liaos. hubby's colleague oso ask me change to other brands. say lansinoh too costly. but i oredi bought 5boxes. finish those first lo =p

btw wat is considered deep freezer? how come ur bm can keep so many mths? cos i tot dey say 2mths? once dey wanna hit 2mths, i faster let my boy drink =x
 
Jiak lat! So it's impossible to walk by 8th month?!?!? I bet with my mum that Ian can walk by next school holidays, which he'll be 8 month old. If Ian can walk, mum will treat me to HK trip, else I'll treat her. My friends' girls all can walk pretty early so I tot it's possible but now I realised that boys develop slower.

tough, tired and messy. Luckily my sis helped me to babysit my children overnight at her place or else i dun think i can complete within 2 days. The hse still have little loose ends to complete but consider comfortable le.

In my own logic - I think older baby has developed a more mature digestive system and have built up a better immune system. Thus even if the milk doesn't contains the right nutrients for them, they can still grow well. But young baby needs to have the exact nutrients. Make sense? Jen may have a better and more appropriate answer to this.

Think babies this age likes to coo a lot. Remember to video it down. It's priceless!!!

Among all the Jan08 babies, all boys and girls, surprisingly it's the 2 boys who first walked, not girl :) Generally girls develop faster than boys, but each baby is, still, different. If baby can stand/cruise by 8 months, already consider very good development.

Can check with you how long can i keep my frozen milk in the chiller? My frozen milk takes about 2 days to thaw and keep another 1 day to bring to the infant care. Is it ok? Will be the milk be spolit? When i taste it seem ok.
 
ya..another thing to check with u ladies. My boy has an undescended testicls. Is it common? realli worry cos the doc said have to operate if i's didnt come down after 1 year...

eh, i realise in my previous posts u keep saying my #1 is 15-month old... she is actually 17-month tomorrow!! fail maths :p

my supervisor asked me to go back office for year-end work review yesterday. she asked me got follow-up with what i did just b4 i was on maternity leave. i was like... huh? i'm still on leave leh!!! she said i could have asked the colleague who covers my duty about the outcome. i couldn't tahan and told her straight "i don't even have time to go to toilet at home!" she must think we mummies on maternity leave is very free

my #3 has undescended right testicle. i remember his surgeon said that if it doesnt descend by 6 mths the chance of it descending is v slim. but its good to wait till 1 yr old but not too long ok. cos the testicle only grows when its in the testes not anywhere else. else u will have undergrown testicle and i cant remember what else he said lah, abt hampering the growth and if leave till adulthood will turn cancerous. mine had his operated at 18 mths old and that is considered late cos his stupid pd couldnt make up his mind whether its descended or not. one moment told me it has another moment it has not thank God i brought him for second opinion. needless to say i have boycotted his clinic!

its a day surgery and heals v fast, dun worry

Rach, Steph, milkyway> for manduca, after zip open the extension, there are total 3 press studs. you all clip the 2 studs on the baby insert to the top 2 or lower 2 studs?

Thanks for ur advice. I will wait till 10 mths later cos my GP said he has a case descended after 10 mths. Will keep him prayer nt to go for surgery if possible.

i have 4 bottles of pigeon storage bottle, the color changes real fast and wat Jul mention, marking really cant see it. so now my hubby use these bottle for feeding when thaw fbm from milkbag.. everyday i go home see those milkbag being throw away , heart pain seh. :p..

Wow! Walking at 10 months old?! My #1 started cruising at 8mths, but didn't walk unassisted until 16 months old!! So he was "walking" for 8 mths, but couldn't/didn't really walk until most kids his age were already walking unaided!On the bright side, he hardly fell down once he started, probably cos he already had soooooo much practice!!

I buy the GLAD sandwich bags. It's $3.40 for 50 from Mustafa. Other places I think about $3.90 or so la. Confirm less than $4.
But I realise cannot try to overload it to fit 16 sticks, later all will stick together and very hard to pry apart! Last time when I first started using, stupid stupid go and pack full full.
So now I store in 2 packs – 1 pack of 10 sticks + 1 pack of 13-14.

Bb start to recognise people &amp; voices

Natalie is exactly 3mths old today. Yeah!! But she start to cry whenever my MIL brings dinner over to our place. (MIL does not come everyday)

Over the weekend when we bring her out she will wail the moment she sees or hears unfamiliar people and voice. *Faint* Cry still very cham

I'm getting abit worried cos i will be going back to work in one mth's time. MIL will be looking after her but she does not come often plus she is going overseas 2 times this mth cos she knows she will loses all freedom when Nat is in her care....

u can get it from kiddy palace, taka, robinsons etc. think $30 or so for 3 bottles? quite ex but bpa free. the marking is until 150ml, but think can go till maybe 180ml? not sure exactly how much more b/c i dun hit 150ml anyway haha
 
i'm sooo sooo tired. sam really acted up tdy. he barely slept 45min after his bath - when usu he sleeps 1.5h. n the whole pm, he only nodded off for 15min twice, only to wake screaming. n the whole day he kept merlioning his feed. changed him 3x! plus he kept crying n refused to play in his rocker, wanting to be carried *sigh*

There are other BPA-free alternatives mah. $30 for 3 bottles is akin to daylight robbery for me. I saw this Bumblebee brand at KP that day, says its BPA-free also. 8 bottles only about $30+ also. But M'sian brand lor, dunno reliable or not. :p

I think Medela bottles max 170ml lah. Cos it tends to "swell" a bit after freezing. I ever popped off a bottle cap cos put too much milk inside. After it was frozen, the cap seal popped out.

Cruising = walking by holding onto furniture, etc.

undescended testicles - I thought your gynae scans during the last stage of your pregnancy should be able to show if his testicles have descended or not?

u just review his condition every few mths lor. if got progress, ie, gettg closer to scrotum means its on its way down. where is the testicle now? my boy used to be at his abdomen, his surgeon said so high up and took so long for me to bring him do surgery!

i think baby girls develop faster in their verbal skills, whereas baby boys are faster in their gross motor skills (including walking). my #1 started walking by 12 months old. he started speaking (those make sense type of speech) close to 18 months old.

my son going circumcise next week, i will have to delay his 3mth injection.
