i see alot mummies saying calendula cream is good so i go buy as my boy always got rashes here and there... alamak, after applying got unknown rashes come out (diff from those he always had)... waste $$ again... =(

hmm the leatherette seems cool.. i need something like this too.. cos i keep changing bags and sure miss taking something.. one day could be the keys, next day my coin purse, and then another day my access pass...

arh...really arh...actually my sis's review on the cream is tat the redness will get intense then subside after tat. she used it persistently for days before seeing results...
never mind la, then u use it on urself lor as moisturising cream on the body or hand =)

it will be very red after usage? my gal's neck starting to have rashes and some "pao pao", must be head too heavy.. always had to struggle with her to clean her neck. So i applied the calendula cream, then it got redder, really red!! so now i stopped using it... used to use it on her face and it was okie.. not sure why the neck got really red.. so i change to powder.. just apply a little bit of powder and it got better now...

gosh.. must be a tiring day for u... i dont have guts to drive alone with my gal in the carseat yet.. think it will be very chaotic if she starts to cry and i will sure panic...

my gal had that too.. it started out like urs but it got much worse...her ear was infected too. I can cry just by the look at it lo.
For me, I used Calendula n within a week, it got better.. but not for long(in my gal's case la; calendula works but i feel its on a case to case basis)... so had to resort to takin her to see skin doc. Was prescribed with a cream that contains steriod(mildest form). now much better but it still comes on n off...am monitoring it.

My gal has some rashes on her face too but now I can't apply calendula for her cos she will touch all over her face then next mom her hands will b in her mouth! the 2nd time, she was also given the mustela cream but the next morning, her ear area got watery pus.. i stopped using immediately.. </font>

when is your next PD appointment? the PD could prescribe a mild topical steroid and after a few days of application the spots should be gone. my older boy had perpetual eczema on his face till he was one year old plus. topical steriod also couldn't stem the growth. but most children will eventually outgrow it, and now he only has eczema on his hands and feet.

only your PD can help you assess if it's a one-off rash or not. cos mummies here are only offering friendly advice ... better to see a PD if condition aggravates. also look out for possible new areas (if it's eczema) where the spots could appear, like around the ear areas and joints areas.

wow it really looks bad. i will nt hesitate to bring her to pd. sometimes we mothers hesitate to apply steroid cream to our bubs but u be surprised at how these creams work like magic. one day n u can see total difference.
it doesnt look like baby acne to me leh, looks more like severe rash . be careful if there is infection. my boy's rashes was v bad too but he has lots of acnes as well. it has since cleared totally thank God

same leh.. see from the pic, my boy's condition same as ur girl, also have really bad rashes at 6weeks too. mine got leak some watery liquid. veri disgusted, i also see liao wanna cry.
lucky now all ok le.. jus on and off alittle onli. =)

Hi mummies long time no log in.. been busy w didi.. he refused to be put on the bed n sleep by himself during day time! I almost died lo... cant do much stuff.. but luckily nw at night i swaddled him both arms n he can sleep thr the night! i am so so happy.. last time swaddle one arm and he kept waking up still.. hehe hopefully my dark eye circles will be gone soon...

Now not totally cleared.. it still comes on n off lo but much much better le..Her body now has some red spots.. still monitoring... </font>

When i made the call to check if she was there, the nurses told me fully book, no pt coming down. Once i called was on that day itself, the next time i called was a day in advance lo. Also cannot see her.. Then emergency need to see her how? So I nv go there anymore. (my personal opinion la)</font>

it looks like rashes. did it just started? i everyday look very carefully at my gal's face and neck area after bath time when i'm dressing her. at the sign of a few dots (small rashes) i quickly apply the calendula cream. it seems to work for my bb though. i'm more anxious, because i have eczema and very sensitive skin, and i'm afraid she'd follow my bad genes and have it too
what do u use to clean her face? try to use boiled room/slightly warm water (abit mahfan i know, but worth it, if she's prone to getting rashes on the face) with a cotton ball...dun use washclothes coz they're rougher. if she likes to chomp chomp her mittens, must change regularly. if she chomp chomp her hands hor... then must wipe hand regularly too. i use the pigeon disposable hands and mouth wipes to clean her hands.
