i also sometimes find my girl's neck red... and after applying like no diff.. kekek...
so sometimes i use the cream given by doc...and that works real fast. though i dunno what cream is that given by PD...

i've used baby oil for my girl's cradle cap, and after 3 days, its almost gone liaoz... left a bit bit only.. i apply baby oil then wait 5min..
then i start to comb as instructed by jenifur...
then all the scaps came out....

<font color="#6600ff"> About Kairi's Face</font>

Thank you mommies for the advice. The afected areas of this redness is only at on her face. Neck rash has subsided ( Maybe due to me applying a thick slob of cream on it everyday XD )It seems from my observation that whenever after her bath and applying the Mustela as given by the PD, it subsides and isn't red. I believe it's either the heat or her chup chup icky hands rubbing her face when I'm at work and she's under my PIL care. I have been using cold water to clean those areas ( Not boiled ) Boiled water necessary? If I were to give wipe down at night about 11pm-12am, I am afraid it would spoil her routine... So If I am home at those times I skip the wiping for the night. Should I consistently wipe down everyday?

hi mummies

saw the posts on the "rashes" and would like to recommend.

my son got these rashes 2 weeks ago. my fil went to pick some bittergrout roots to clean his face.

u will need to take the roots (looks like those morning glory roots)and boil with water, the more concentrated the better. and use cotton wool to clean bb's face and head (his head also got those rashes spots.) after 2-3 days the rashes are gone lo.

at first i also dun believe but the old folks says that these "ku gua gen" somehow will remove "heaty-ness" away.

can try lo.

but dun ask me where to get the roots la. i think he go and pluck from the garden(cai yuan) in lim chu kang????

peg perego p3

anyone using this? i'm thinking of getting a stroller coz sam is outgrowing his combi pram.

saw the 2009 version in spring maternity, but it's $758! 2008 version at $698, with supposedly no difference in features. while 2007 version at $498, only diff being the back of the stroller being lower - but only green colour available.

i like it coz it doesn't tip over if i hang heavy stuff on the handles, n it's quite easy to manoveur, n not too low as to gimme backache. but it's heavy.

Jul,

i'm using P3... but dunno which version is it.. haha I like it too! And easy to push etc.. and yeah it wun topple if i hang heavy stuff (but oso up to a certain heaviness though) hehe. but its very bulky.. if u have a car or taking mrt then it is ok.. but wun recommend to use it when taking bus. keke

Sheryn> 生日快乐!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Sheryn!

~Jul~
am using peg perego p3. I love it! v steady and i love the little "stands" at the back for toddlers to stand while pushing the stroller.
Think my version is 2009, got it @ $599 at baby hypermart few mths back while it's on sale.

frankly speaking, hard to open/ close with 1 hand. Need 2 hands.. the good part is it can stand on its own when close. No need ppl to help if you are opening or closing on your own. I hang baby's bag on the handle w/o baby in P3 and it still stand v well, wouldn't topple over. Yes.. it's v heavy.

kiki> ya i paid up to confirm order. say is 14dec, but today dey arrange delivery n i will be getting my mat on sun nite. let u know wat i think of it by mon k? =p

pamelia> seriously wan buy so ex clothes for ur kids? dey outgrow very fast wor. keke. tokin abt this n i bought so many polo ralph polos for my boy -_-

jul> haha. finally understand wat u mean by backache. today i push my stupid capella s705 stroller with heels along orchard road. wah liew. feel my back so tired, cos i got to hunch back to push tat bloody stroller. grrs

sheryn> u went IMM? i went at noon for lunch too. den went to hubby's aunt's hm zobo den went orchard dinner n strolling. bring bb to go c christmas lightings, but he fell asleep. so i ended up shopping instead -_-

melissa

Wah so cheap! Tdy at Spring Maternity, they quoted me $758!

michelle

Terrible right? I'm not very tall, only average height, already can't stand short strollers.

Oh Capella s705 is short too? Someone was telling me to consider that coz it's cheaper then the peg perego p3

Melissa (infinity_star)

thanks =)

mwerkz

u were there? i was there at ard 1 plus..at ajisen.. till ard 4pm liddat then left.. whoa.. Orchard Load ar.. sure alot of Shou Huo one lo.. =p y shou huo only one ipod and FP rocker for my ger.. haha.. n daiso stuff.. love daiso lo.. so many xmaz stuff to see.. all damn pretty somemore.. too bad tis yr no gift exchange.. =(

jul
i'm using Capella S705.. dont have any problems with it.. was deciding btw Capella S705 and Peg Prego 3 the last time but bought Capella in the end cos it can be easily open/close with 1 hand while bb can b in the other hand. Find that Peg needs both hands. As for weight, both are equally heavy lor :p

jul
btw dont buy strollers at Spring cos they have to mark up so much exp! the strollers are not their own goods, they are just like distributors so tend to be more exp.

Jul,

like that melissa and milkyway says, Peg 3 need both hands to open and close. i always brought a sling with me... so i always sling and open/close P3. think there is somewhere selling cheaper... for me, i got it 2nd hand keke $250 only.. and its very new hehe

Hi mummies, just wondering which will you all get.. between the two. LG Prime 1900*1300*11
or Parklon Green 2100*1400*15? LG prime slightly cheaper but it is also thinner.

Wanna place order but headache duno 11mm is thick enough not @.@

<font color="dc143c">Sotong_mum</font>
errr.. what is ur the other nick??
coz i have no record of sotong mum in my list leh... then u paid me.. i dunno is who!!!

Michelle> then you quite tall
happy.gif
ha ok im short..i wear heels and push capella S705.

same as milkyway, like capella as i can carry baby and close and open pram with 1 hand. plus i can let baby face me or face e surrounding with the reverse function.

Gerald, Milkyway> ya man with the Dubai woes Asian Europe US markets came off quite a lot but our Singapore market is close.

Just want to check. How do you ladies BF with baby in an upright position? Thanks!

prinzess55
Yeah man. Got wind of the debt. Lucky u released ur stuff! In any case, doubt I'll call it a 'woe'.

gerald,
i think only when they get older are they capable of being BF in an upgright position. cos older babies/toddlers be able to arch their heads and use their hands to cradle the breast to get the milk in whatever position that they are placed in. i used to BF #1 in the ergo - upright and squashed - but doable. for our babies at this age, they can only be cradled.

Gina:
i suggest buy a thicker one. next time when your baby learns climbing up sofa, a thicker one can serve as a "safety net" in case baby falls

Investment:
i want to learn more about it! someone teach me!!

cookiezz> :p sorry i missed your post.
happy.gif
i go check out the pigeon changing mat.

milkway> see this changing mat http://www.pupsikstudio.com/catalog.php?item=15
real plush..price plush too.
Rach any lobang :p

Gerald> wa you got wind of the debt.. i only got to know abt it when its official in the news. ha next time any wind share share k ;)
lets see what will happen from here... Abu Dhabi might help, they are oil rich= $$$. if not maybe USA will help, China will help and neg good price for oil from them? lets see how much the market can come off
happy.gif
i agree with milkyway, after that its good to pick up some blue chips.

prinzess55

jul> dunno leh. i abt 160cm only. if i dun wear heels i find it ok. wah. de moment i wear heels, n de heels only 2inch or so. i find it quite tiring on de back

sheryn> oo. i was there 12-1+ only la. cos purely eating lunch den go off liaos =p hehe. not much things at orchard leh. only went to buy some of bb's stuffs. thurs went vivo bought 3shoes liaos. y this yr no gift exchange? i oso like daiso. cos alot of things to buy at cheap prices. n no need check de price =p

gina> i bought the parklon. gettin it tml. if u wan i can give u mine comment on it after getting it. i oso finf 11mm too thin. so all along i look at 15mm even for lg prime

prinzess55> lol. i only 1.6m which is considered short wor. actually i no prob of one hand or two hand open. cos usually hubby will b out with me. he dun allow me to go out with bb alone. cos he say i can't handle -_-

jenifur> purchase from where? $45.75 is cheaper than whats the website is selling

milkyway> wont know what Rach can get for us ;).

happy.gif
Now shld b able to get ard $40 as USD is weaker</font>

~michelle~
you very steady leh.. can wear high heels, carry baby &amp; push stroller. Tat day i went to try a pair of high heel shoes.. can't even walk steadily in it, been wearing flats since jan till now! Need more practise to get hang of it. : )

jenifur/ prinzess55
The Plush pad is very nice!! expensive though. When outside, I have been using the changing mat given by hospital, as the changing mat is rather "short", i use 1 diaper as his "pillow".
