mamato6Js, hope ur baby's acne go off soon.. actually this is not the worst I've seen... My colleague's baby the last time had baby acne till the whole face was red.. think the number of "acnes" is more than ur baby's so really whole face red...

my gal also the same, can wake up in sweat with hair and back hot and wet!! so now we ar in air-con for most of the time lor. so she feels comfy.. hehe

I tried pump out/latch/using cabbage/cold press/massage also no use. So when I go see gynac, i told gynac then he prescribed me some medicine safe for breastfeeding and will not reduce the milk supply.

oh yup looks quite bad...coz usually from pics will normally look less obvious no matter what skin condition u haf, bt from this pic, still can tell lotsa rashes/pimples and the skin quite rough to touch esp the forehead area...

think ur PD prescribed FUCICORT. Bt still think ELOMET works better coz i haf both at home.

ya hopefully can cleared up fast bt no matter what will eventually go away...

thanks everyone for ur concern. ya hope he recovers in time. on the other hand i v comforted he has put on 1.5kg since discharge n he is 4 days shy of being one mth old. now weighs 5.1kg.

Rach, u can take ur weight when carrying baby and then take weight another time without baby.. then u can roughly know how heavy baby is liao.. hehehe

We do grocery run once a week with my Hubs' help. Take car and buy bulk for the whole week. Or I will give my hubs a shopping list and he'll go to Mustafa at night and pick up everything.
As for fresh food like vege/meat, we have a wet market just in the next block. I'll just sling the baby and hold the toddler's hand, and we go buy lor.
My place is quite convenient in terms of amenities, so I guess that helps. If I had to take feeder bus go to interchange and buy food, I think I won't even attempt to cook daily.

As for being efficient, I can't hold a candle to girlygirly! I can't imagine myself juggling 4 kids while still cooking and cleaning! I think I would need 8 arms and 8 eyes or something.

I just go? Especially when only have 1 kid, it's much easier lor. Just sling bb and can go liao.
I don't use pram when going downstairs to buy food/groceries cos it's so leh cheh. Esp if bb happen to fuss, I can just pat pat and talk to him while running my errands. If use pram then have to stop walking, bend over to soothe him, and I just waste my time standing there. Sibei mafan.

I take his photos with flash leh. But I realise after a few shots, he will KPKB and squint, so I usually don't go overboard with the snapping.
Probably too bright and irritating for baby's eyes. Cos personally I also really hate camera flash in my face. LOL.

eh my air con also 26deg plus ceiling fan! v cooling.

as for urine infection, so far i only encountered once with my #3. he has very long foreskin so each time shower must pull back to wash if not bacteria will build up. that time when he had the infection he kept cryg when pee cos v painful, took half an hour just to pee! but he was 5 yrs old already lah. if baby cant talk most prob cry v loud lor!

yah thats how i weigh my baby at home. but provided u have digital weighing machine ah if not hard to tell la. when i weighed at home he is ard 5kg then at pd he was 5.1kg.

So ppl always like to guess they Eurasians but when I say they have Indian blood, they get a shock.. hahaha

Now the older kids go swimming so more tanned now...

my baby can beat yours. my case is 100% worse than yours. his face look like "lan" i see liao also feed disgusted. spread around his head, face, neck, ear, body. the worst area is the eyebrow,nose and cheek. tat area look super "lan" then got leak those yellowish liquid.

Seen PD twice, 1st one didn get better, infact got worse. 2nd time i went to another PD, it got better. he gave me a creme to apply twice a day, and my baby 95% recover in bout days time. phew.. jus in time for his full month celebration.

i also change my FM to HA but didn get better. so now i feed him wif soy milk. if u r breastfeeding, then gt to be careful of wat u eat.

and also i bathe my baby in the morning, then i use wet cloth to clean him up in the late afternoon and also before he slp to make him clean. My PD say if not clean, no matter hw gd the medicine is also no use.
 
I have a suggestion... why not we create a facebook group for this group of Sept babies so we can share photos also and track their progress? hehe

Ya, she asked me yesterday. I was fortunate to be able to get a slot with her coz I called her two weeks ago. Yes, lost about 2 inches but not enough leh. I am thinking if I should continue with extra sessions with her. I also want to book her for bb massage but she said can only start when bb is 2 mths old.

Besides massaging, it's good to be able to talk to someone other than my maid!

For those using Ameda pump and avent bottles, I have a set of brand new connectors to sell as well - so that you can pump directly into your avent bottles and there is no need to transfer the EBM from the Ameda ones.

hihi, been very busy with my girl. birth details as follows:

ADD: 18 Sept
EDD: 24 Sept
Weight: 3.47kg
Length: 51cm
Method: Natural with Epi
BB's Gender: Girl
Bb's Name: Arielle

My Birth Story:

18th Morning 12 midnight, checked into Mt A for induction. Was put on CTG for 30 mins. After which, nurse inserted a pill to soften cervix, was told to rest till the next morning.

6am - Didnt sleep the whole night. Nurse came in to do VE. cervix still not open. Was put on CTG again.

7am - Nurse inserted enema to clear poopoo. After which, ate breakfast.

8am - Was put on drip to speed up contractions. Was stucked to the bed.

10am + - Contractions came every 2 mins. Nurse did VE and was 2cm dilated. Tried laughing gas but it didnt't helped so asked for epidural. I was so in pain that i had no energy to talk and could only whisper. After Epi was administered, was able to rest and catch some sleep.

2pm plus - Nurse did VE and was 10cm dilated. Was told to get ready to push.

3pm - Later nurse came in and told me that need to wait as Doc had to attend to urgent things and said to lower the epi dosage so that i can experience the contractions and know when to push.

5pm plus - Doc arrived and within 1 hour of pushing, baby was out. The tear was almost to my anus and it teared on its own. Initially was pain to sit and was afraid to poo but now its more or less healed already.

Was latching her for 1 week and had really sore nipples. Now i'm pumping but my milk ss is low, 2-3 hours only 30ml and always my right breast can pump out more milk than my left breast. Why is this so? Quite sad la. Almost, every nite from 2am-7am plus, she would wake up every hour and cry, want to drink so have to feed her with FM. Really envy u all got 100ml+ from pumping. Did you all drink alot of liquids ar?

Keep latching on and expressing... then I take Goat's Rue and Nursing tea also.. drink fish soup, drink hot water... hahah super determined..

Now I only feed baby FM like once or twice a day max... other than that either latch on or EBM.. although super tired cause think I don't produce enough cause he always hungry after like 1 hr plus 2 hrs and latch on very long but I am persistent.. lol

Weird thing is hor, dunno if its bcos I'm using breast shell, my breast leaks A LOT esp when I'm feeding baby...

Can leak 10ml on one side when I'm latching baby on another side... and I don't have enough to feed baby... so silly loh.. sigh...

I do sun her.. But sometimes due to her keeping me up all morning (between 1am - 7am ) I would sleep past 10am.. And at my house.. There isn't much 5-6pm sun -.-

So all I can do is to wait for her to pass it out through her bowels I guess..

i'm also thinking of pumping after each feed. but I don't get much. each time only 30ml at most 80ml. can't make up full feed. so each bottle so little, n I put in freezer straight away. never combine. if o use milk bags at this rate, it will be such a waste.

my PD says this cream can be used for heat rash, milk rash and mosqito bites. quite good. my son's heat rash was gone after applying the cream for one day
