But also becos of this, i tink my milk supply is depleting as I stopped emptying my breasts frequently and now i only get like ard +-100ml every 3 hours. *SOBZ*

Trying hard now to boost my supply back. Any remedies?

So all of u mummies... dun have to be jealous when u hear i reached 300ml. please learn my lesson. now wondering how to increase my supply again. and I wonder if there's still hope lo..

then day time she sleep...
so we tried the wear opposite...then she only wake up for feed and go back to sleep.....
during day is about 1.5 - 2 hours will need to feed..at nite coz i get CL to bottlefeed..
so she can sleep 2-3 hours for feed... so if i feed at 11plus..then 1plus and 3plus and 5 plus...
sometimes sleep longer....
so at nite only twice bottle feed.....

mine is really bad lor! all the way to ear lobes. then now the ear lobes ones drying up and look so flaky. wah liew! u know lah when old folks during full mth see already then they will tell u cos u tbf, ur milk v heaty thats why ur baby got rashes!

its really bad leh, the whole face has tiny spots. he needs air con whole day long. i bring him out of the room within 15 mins he will wail! go back to air con room he keeps quiet.

any of ur babies got such bad pimples not?

michelle, how abt urs? last time my #3 had it but not as bad lor. this one is really outbreak!

what happened why supply drop so much? but even if u get only 100ml in 3 hrs its after latching ur girl right? so thats considered v good already leh. ur supply is regulating itself isnt it good. we might feel more at peace with ourselves if we have over supply, but u think abt it, got so much milk baby also has no use for it unless u r feeding twins n triplets cos a baby's stomach can only limit heerself so much. moreover u r sahm right? dun worry abt hvg not enuf to store lor. i guess the only way if u wanna get back ur supply is to pump diligently again. cheer up ok

mine had during the 1st and 2nd week bt had since cleared up around week 3...

don't know is rashes or pimples lah bt look so pathetic like xiao3 hua1 mao1...and her scalp and behind the ear area is full of pus filled pimples. the pus is yellowish in color and consider quite big on her small head...she was juz 6 days old when i discovered it and bring her to the PD immediately...the PD had to break all the pus and apply anti-infectious gel to them...for 3 days i haf to break any 'left-over' pus and apply the gel 2-3x a day...bt it gt better n better after the 3rd day, no nid to apply the gel anymore...

and abt the rashes/pimples on the face, the PD say no nid to do anything coz 'nt tat bad', will goes off by itself...bt it seems bad to me...so i actually apply a thin layer of elomet on those rashes/pimples. i'll try out initially by applying on a pimple 1st, it works and therefore i apply it on the rest. It really heal...and fast too...can see result few hrs later at single application...

elomet nt only works on eczema, on mosquito bites (GP prescribe elomet for my older gal when she has got swollen skin fr mosquito bites. he says the cream is anti-inflammation, stop itch), it works on rashes and pimples too.

any idea why baby cry on breast, isit no more milk to suck? but when i unlatch, i squeeze my nipple there milk, or milk become difficult to suck then bb start to cry on breast...

how many handsfree model they have? im thinking of getting dual pump when i back to work....
 
I am having blocked ducts. Besides sqeezing the breasts to clear the blocked ducts, is there anything else like medication that will help?

Don't think there are medications for blocked ducts. Massage seems to be the only way to "break down" the lumps and then to pump/latch to clear it out.
The only medication I know of is painkillers to reduce pain/fever due to blocked ducts.
Pls try to get your boobies massaged well ASAP to prevent it from turning into mastitis!! Good luck!

I'm going to start to cook lunch and dinner everyday (except probably weekends cos it's my rest days), which means less idle time for me.
I'm hungry almost all the time, so I figured I should just cook to cut cost and for convenience's sake. So damn sian of eating the food being sold around here already.

We've also been IKEA-ing the home to create more spaces to store stuff, and there's at least 2 more trips we need to make. I need to spruce up the place decently in preparation for the arrival of my sibei sui new couch on the 9th! So excited!!

I've also been procrastinating on taking photos of my preloved maternity wear and posting them up for sale. All of them still in such good condition that it's a pity to throw.
I wanted to keep for when I have #3, but my hubs say will turn mouldy and out of fashion by then, so ask me to sell off. Then I still have my fetal doppler, electronic automated sarong, Belly Bandit, and a gazillion other things to sell off &amp; make space...

it takes a month to ship over.....
freestyle is more portable...lighter and handsfree..and u only need a 2 pin adaptor ( bought at $1.80 at those shop that sells battery, cha pa lang stuffs, power plug etc..)
for Pump in style u need an transformer adaptor to be able to use it in spore..
i'm talking abt the sets bought from US la....
so.. buy freestyle better..

mine not 5 only hor! mine is explosive, hard to count cos so tiny and so numerous!! LOL.. anyway later i bring him see pd just to make sure its normal acne and not anything else.

that time forget to reply you. if got urine infection, it will be painful when peeeing plus will have fever. urine culture test will show bacteria lor.

elomet is steroid based right? thats why my pd dun encourage lor. but really a lot lah if use already will clear i dun mind use very thinly.

can understand how u feel, coz during confinement for #1, i also didn't have CL, MIL came to help, but end up same as u, me and hubby settle bb most of time. that's why this time i rather pay $$ to hire CL to help

btw... my hubby used pacifier when young has neat teeth... i didn't use but i have rabbit teeth. duh

i have no idea why my boy merlion during latching at about 3+am for alternate nights!!! but i latch only one side for 10 min then he merlion already, some more so qiao it happens during 3+am feed. what's wrong??????

now a bit clever, put towel beneath us whenever i latch in lying down position, so no need to change bedsheet like mad in the middle of night which happened a few times last week...

Actually, I had also used the pacifier when I was little.. And I used it for the longest time... I wonder why the myth came about for ugly teeth >.<

ENVY!!!!!

I'm having such a hard time trying to boost my BM.. feel like crying!! Firstly my nipples are a bit short, so I had problem latching on and bb gets very agitated. I had to feed him FM at nite cos then he won't get too agitated to sleep and also nite time my supply so low he can't get enuff milk. 2 days back, I bought the nipple puller. It worked for a day, I was so happy, tot I can finally BF properly and I'm so prepared to throw the tin of FM away but come yesterday, my milk supply suddenly dropped, no matter how much water I drink and how I BF, my boobs feels so soft. At nite, it was worse, and I had to once again feed my BB FM. Sigh.. this morning, still not working. Think my boobies are on strike! The nipple puller also not very good cos whenever I used it, it'll suck out abt a teaspoon of milk and I have to throw it away. So wasted. HOW??!??! I'm so envy of mothers who can BF easily.

yup steriod...

think most PD don't encourage oso unless it's really very bad...since it will go away on its on, medication is really unnecessary lor...

the dosage and administration is to be used on the effected area once a day until it heals or for a duration of 3 weeks whichever is sooner...

juz haf to apply a thin layer and it works in juz a single application or two. when the redness has subsided after one application, i think is gd enuf. I'll juz leave them alone till they vanish on their own...think a single or two application of thin layer is quite safe bah...and most impt, i did 'patch test' 1st lor, haha...to find out if it will get better or worse...

nw her pus on scalp and rashes/pimples on face all cleared up le, she looks so much better nw and i feel happier oso...otherwise see her like tat, i oso quite depressed leh, haha...
 
Full month celebration

celebrated my baby full month on sat and sun.
sat one we invited 30, so not so bad, sunday we invited 80. yesterday one was a tortue man. those relative comment this and that. keep nag nag nag, ask u do this do that etc etc... baby and i being "wash ear" from 10.30am to 8pm... feel like using tape to tape their mouth man.. ragghhh

Baby didn slp much in the day so i was thinking he might have a good slp at night but i was WRONG. he didn slp from 7pm - 1.30am... From 9 - 1.30am, he keep crying wor, milk, water, pacifier, carry also not use.. i think he got a scare in the day time??? poor baby...

by the way, the PD didn't prescribed the elomet. I haf it at home coz my #3 has eczema occassionally, so the elomet is a standby juz in case her eczema flare up...and i actually gt the elomet fr the GP. so whenever it is used up, i'll juz purchase again at $9 per tube of 5g. can use for quite some time coz i try to avoid using it. and at most apply once ot twice oni...

I find it difficult to sleep in the day too. I have to sleep with air-con but my bb doesn't seems to like it. So hot! How to sleep!?! Haha Even at nite, we have the air-con at 27 degree cos bb doesn't like the cold. Siong!

Same here! Tot he's asleep so I pump, then once I finished pumping, he'll wake up!! And I'll have to feed him the EBM while I tot I can store it for later use :/

another way is to dun totally empty the breast... i pump out 100ml then i stop during day time coz duunno my girl wake up what time...sometime really after pump she wake.. i still latch..and she still happily suckin away..

Finally got time to come in to post but got no time to read thru past posts.

My engorgement getting better after my gynac gave me some medicine to soften the engorgement. He said won't affect the breastfeeding and milk supply. After taking, I feel better.

Jayden is 9days old and my milk supply is getting better, can pump abt 240ml per time.

Btw, have the tops arrived? I'm really looking forward to them coz I'll probably start bringing baby out on weekends. Bfing outside will be so much easier with those tops.

is it Desowen you are using? My baby also has acne but not serious, no pus but quite red. I thought steroid more for eczema. If it helps for the pimples, I'll apply some for her too.

do take it easy. Having a helper / CL is like that. They will never do things the way you do it 100%. We just have to let it be sometimes and correct them if you cannot accept it. It will soon be over anyway.
 
I've also packed my maternity clothes into bags to be given away. My clothes condition is quite good as I bought quite a lot, some during #1 and some during #2. Don't intend to have anymore kids.

Cramps - I only had them for the 1st week.. it was soooo bad!!! but after 1st week, no more cramps..

i was there to have BF consultation on to latch my bb properly.. cos my first few times even in hosp, bb latch then cried n refused to get into position.. so i went back to parentcraft..
but it worth for me cos i din know i got blockage and mrs wong squeezed real hard and my milk flow better... even though supply is low..


i was feeling the soreness from the episoitomy wound more during first 2 wks.. now i felt cramps from the uterus.. i think... very cramp! =(

Cannot be lazy! Do you know how depressed I was when my supply was low? I cried so hard 2-3 times... My HB got so distressed he bought so many things for the breast to make me feel better. ( Breast shield... Nipple shield.. even electric food/bottle warmer ) Lol... I was so determined to hit at least 100ml/pump session that I can wake up every 3-4 hrs to pump. My flow not that much like other mommies.. But at least I know I'll have enough in store when I go back to work next month.

When you pump and you can see milk shoot out... Woo~ Happiness~ X3

Don't know if shoot out from 1 place is what I'm supposed to expect though.. XD

Desowen?? Mine, the brand is ELOMET...think those mommies having eczema like sandwich and flower will know...

my gal's pimples with pus is on the scalp lor...so funny...for that muz break the pus 1st, thereafter apply BACTROBAN as prescribed by the PD. Labelled as 'for rashes'. PD mentioned tat it is an anti-infection gel.

PD precribed FUCICORT for my older gal when she has got swollen moquito bites. It's meant for rashes too.

So if u haf any of the above, no harm trying...bt muz do 'patch test' like me coz we wldn't know if bb will be sensitive or allergic to the ingredients...

i dun think any of ur babies acnes can beat mine lor. (see attached pic of my boy)

anyway pd said its quite bad baby acne coupled with ezcema and bacterial infection cos there is yellow crust at the ear lobes area. was prescribed dunno what fumicort or something like tat lah. she said has mild steroid as well as . hopefully will clear by full mth!

If you didn't tell me they were baby acne, I would think he's got cute freckles. X3

My BB has heat rash... I think? My stupid aircon of 16 deg is not 16 deg, and I have to on the fan to feel cool... She wakes up with her hair and back wet, and looking at her chest with red patches kinda leave me frustrated on why the bloody air con cannot be fixed?!

My MIL asked me to apply dunno what cream... HB's 8 mth old niece is using it... I am thinking if I should ask Jenifur to help me get a tube of Desitin.
