If u adhere STRICTLY, no touching water at all. No drinking plain water even, I heard. Must drink some red dates & longan tea? Aiyoh...

Guess that's why they had confinement nannies & MILs in the past - to help bathe the BB.

If u're more modern, u can touch water, bathe BB, just make sure u dry urself well, dun let the wind "blow" etc.

If u r totally modern, u will bochap haha.

Oh u asked abt iron huh? I have iron AND multivits which contain iron, coz I got low iron. Think not everyone needs to take iron tablets one. Depending on ur body & gynae's recommednation.

No leh, only my room is "new new". But I AHTE the cupboard new smell. Stings my nose &amp; eyes. I very sensitive one lah.

Then tempered with kancheong to quickly finish./ Coz if we manage to move home next weekend, then still got tons of BB clothes, towels, beddings to wash. Plus got to set up cot also *faint*

i heard from my fren when her water bag burst.. it just trickles of water.. like feeling like pee-ing :p

she told me her water bag broke at 3am+.. at frist she thot she just need to go loo to pee.. then went back to bed.. seems like still need to pee.. and she went a few times to the loo.. then she realise.. it not pee.. just water broke! so she quickly woke up her hubby, had quick shower and dress up. She put on a normal sanitary pad then head for hospital lo..

i guess it really not a "big" gush of water flowing down the legs bah...

oh and she mentioned the water is clear.. not bloody or smthing

i got a few nursing bras already.. hope can tong for awhile. Dont want to get now cos not sure if the size will change anot lor.

I left a trail of water mark from my desk to the toilet &amp; back *hahaha* Forgot to ask my colleague if e cleaning auntie got cursed &amp; swear @ me e next day or not.

Den cannot contact my stupid DH so end up I had to call a cab to go TMC, left another mark in the cab *hee* Feel so paiseh. After tt DH still hv to contact e cab driver via taxi company to give him a red packet

My waterbag burst, is not just tickle of water leh.. it's really gushes of water de leh but really does feel like is peeing except for the huge amt lah</font></font>

dun worry too much abt water bag bursting...coz sometimes it dun even break...
nurse gotta break it inside labor ward...
but it depends on situations and individuals also...
some people have contractions but no break... go in.. then nurse break...
but once water bag breaks.. we need to get to hospital asap... (but take a shower and clean up first before going in..)
Bb has to be out of us within 24 hours of water break to prevent infection...

note the color and time the water bag breaks...
it should be colorless or pale yellow...and odorless...

should we see any greenish or other color... best to go hospital asap...could be bb distress and pass meconium liaoz...
and note the time the water bag breaks... so doc knows what to do...

Afternoon Mommies~
I just came back from the clinic as DH has a little bit of cough with Phlegm. The doctor gave him 3 days MC because "immune system" is supposedly weak and very prone to H1N1... But we need to be here to "jaga" How to take utilize the MC? Wear mask? I think he won't wear... Was told to take temperature 2 times a day once in the morning and once at night. The doctor gave me free milk samples.. So sweet, Just as I was out of Similac. XD

Shelled,

The Sashimi is thinly sliced and placed on the rice with spring onions and a dash of chilli padi. My customer bought from Ichiban Sushi for me. Tastes nice with Wasabi and soy sauce. Especially the tingly sensation on my tongue with the chilli padi. XD

About bathing,

I know we have to bath, But we bath in herbs no? Then BB is bathed using clear warm water right?

So we bath with the herbs, means cannot touch normal water right? I don't intend to hire CL because my MIL doesn't like strangers to stay in or come to the house. Then just yesterday she did tell my HB that I can bath the BB myself etc. So it's kinda contradicting. I'm stuck. Because quite a few people tell me I cannot touch water!

Oh yes~

I had my dose of a whole coconut last night with my dinner... It was HEAVENLY~~~

So... 1 coconut a day is okay right?

How about 2 a day? Is it bad? ^-^
 


now i'm waiting for hb to come back... he better hurry up.. cos shelled is waiting for me to collect the donuts. Hope she dont go out first.
