Ling: I only tried certain flavours. Like my bday cake from Royals is No-Frills Dark Chocolate Truffle. I like lah.. So i PRESUME their cakes are nice :x I don't know if their full month packages the cake nice or not! I cannot swear by it!

For patridgepear, i just happen to see nia T_T never try before!! Better not add that in XD later all come hum tum me i cham..

Oh ya lah. My uncle also said to get those, but Tiffany jewellery is bloody overpriced simply because it's branded. Unless my hubs become millionaire, I don't think I'm ever going to buy anything from Tiffany lor.

You can afford to wait until 27 August for the taka baby fair?! You can start showing Marc the various basic baby signs around 6-9 mths old, but he most probably won't be able to replicate them until at least 9 mths old, due to hand-eye development. J managed to master the sign for "milk" at 9-10 months.

aiyoh my hubby doesnt know wat's a push gift lor when i told him i want one too. Told him that some mummies requested for jewelleries and car,etc.. he says he will give me a car - a TOY car lor.. ~diao...

so i told him wat i want already - upgrade my ring or a branded bag.. i dont mind Tiffany ring too. Then he gave me a silly look... so i guess i can only dream of them in my dreams!

push gifts = gifts we get after pushing hubbys to buy!

sigh push liao also dunno have anot. i hinted my husband long long ago liao but at the end of the day i will also heart pain for him and rather use the money for baby. just bought car, house haha really cannot anyhow spend.

I feel that most (Asian?) men will think that the child belongs to both of you so why is it necessary to give u a gift. Aiya, if they give, be happy. If they dun, just remember you're not the only one.

Of cos u can. Actually its pretty much up to individual de. Some cannot do without cos its like a tradition? Some just only give out cakes to relatives n no full mth celebration? some can have both lo... I've heard of cases like urs too. U can just order buffet without the cakes de.. Like I say, its pretty much up to individual... If ur afraid that it may not look like a full month celebration, u can actually DIY some red eggs for frens n relatives to eat during the celebration to save cost lo.

then i can just record the timing of contractions and all that....

hahahah....just write down whenever it happens...
then i just go to hospital and throw the sheet to the gynae...

still not done the paper yet.... but soon soon... when we rem.... we talked abt it sometime back...

What is a birth plan? Need to plan one meh? I thought bb come, then come lor.

Shelled, copy the idea, get jeweller to custom make it...cheaper :p I still thinking if I should get something. In a way, waste money coz should keep money for babies. But, if don't get, next time, no chance liao. also must reward myself for going thru the pregnancy.

I agree but I also want gift from hubby :p greedy lar...but seriously, I have no need for anything now. Maybe my mind is all filled with things for the babies that I can't seem to think of what I want for myself.

i like soaking myself on hot tub... its ease all my muscle...

S$200 ah.. if can use, but wat if im needed for monitoring hor. alot of wire around my body,then i dun have the chance to soak myself thre,then its wasted lioa.
 
The Bag organizer , practical bo? added weight anot? those hanger bags organizer like limited too. can bags over lap each other? wont spoilt ah, oso need the space...in btween hor.. dusty anot..

Forget about baby fairs. I am a new fan of online shopping. just got my inglesina marco polo 2009 car seat from mummyandbaby.net. so happy with my purchase. Hope my son likes it too.

u order frm caterer very ex de.....

if u have big bags that dun have any compartment..the bag organiser helps to keep everything in order, and easy to find..
dun have to dig into the bag and find things.. hehehehe. :p

My fren got it...and i was drooling over it... hehehehe..

Had tons of questions in mind before i went to bed.. hope you all can help me ah....

Questions are related to BM ;p

Ok so I was thinking of getting FTG. Then hub me for what, eg. i say to chill EBM when i pump @ work or when we outside. Then he ask we go out bring FTG, bb drink chilled EBM ah? Then i blur..

p/s: I ordered milktrays for freezing them into "cubes" and have milkbags..

1) Do we need to heat chilled EBM for bb? If so, how to heat? (Microwave or normal room temperature?)

2) Is it the same method for defrosting frozen BM?

3) I know we can latch bb while we are out. But if we decide to bring EBM instead, we have to warm the bottle @ home and put inside those bottle warmers right?

Will top up some more questions when i think of them :p Thanks in advance hor!

haha.. i also never expected any push gifts. but my hub is sweet lah he always surprises me with LVs few times a year and he got me a mini cooper tied in a ribbon for my birthday few yrs ago so he is forgiven! thank God diamond is not my best frd lor

1) You NEVER EVER use microwave to heat BM ok?! NEVER! The milk won't heat evenly, and the sudden increase in temp will kill all the nutrients! You didn't buy those food/milk warmer?? Pls invest in one if you foresee the need to heat BM often.

2) Yes, you defrost frozen EBM the same way. SLOWLY. Using a food/milk warmer, or buy putting the bottle into a bowl of warm water, and replacing the water whenever it has turned cold.

EBM SHOULD BE HEATED UNTIL NO MORE THAN 40 DEGREES. It's not supposed to be hot.

3) Why would you want to bring EBM?! Heated EBM <u>must</u> be consumed IMMEDIATELY. So even putting into those bottle warmers will compromise the safety &amp; quality of the BM. Just latch on when outside lah! If someone else needs to bring bb out, ask them to bring during feeding times, so don't even need to worry about feeding bb.

bb will drink direct from u when u all go out la...
the FTG is more for storing the EBM when u are in office...
when u go out, if u are engorged and bb has drunk enough, u need to pump out to store in the FTG to bring home..
When u are home, at nite when u want to rest.. ur HB or caregiver can warm up the EBM and feed the bb in bottle...

FTG is more like a storage only.. not to use to feed bb...
of coz when u are with bb, u'll latch on and feed direct!!!

YES! U definitely need to warm up the EBM for bb...either with a food warmer, or u put the bottle into a bowl of warm water..
the temperature would be like room temperature or a little higher.. ( i dunno whats the exact temp though.)

they dun need to drink it hot.. but warm... our usual Milo is too hot for them...
when they drink direct from our neh neh, its warm....something cooler than our urine temp.. if u get what i mean....
hahaha...

when u freeze into ice cubes, i think u need to bring out the cubes into the chiller overnite to thaw it...
then warm it up before feeding...

NO MICROWAVE as the uneven heating will cause burns... the temperature throughout the milk is uneven, some parts hotter some colder...
and it'll "kill" all the nutrients liaoz la....

you can get a food warmer... Avent, Pigeon etc all have food warmers...
u just put in ur bottles, and they'll heat up to the right temperature..
but u still need to test the temp by 'dripping' on the back of ur hand to feel how warm the milk is...

as long as ur milk are in the freezer, u warm them up in the same way....

why u want to bring EBM out??? Mmmmm..... better to latch on...
but if u want to,i also not sure how...never thought of that.. hahaha..

Diamonds also not my best friend, but semi-precious gemstones are! I like amethysts (my birthstone), pink sapphires, black Tahiti pearls and other colored stones. Diamonds only come in 1 color, so sian de.

While I had demanded a push gift for #1 (and sadly only got crystal earrings), this time round hubs was the one who ask me to pick a push gift. His mentality is that as we have more kids, and the kids' expenses go up, next time it will be harder for us to justify spoiling me with an unnecessary purchase.

He also said that when preg with #1, life was easier for me cos less things to do. But with #2, I had more chores to do, and #1 to take care of. And that I've been really good at handling the last few months despite my huge tummy. So to him, I "deserve" something nice lor.
