actually there r some gynaes who r just pro c section, esp u already have a cut there, its easy n convenient for them to just cut at the same line and not forgetting c section fees is more exp and also means that their timing is fixed and they wont suffer from disturbed nites when mothers suddenly want to give birth! haha...

u were saying this gynae is not the same gynae who delivered ur #1? if u have VBAC on ur mind all along, why didnt u check out ur current's gynae opinion first before sticking to him?

All that being said, most impt is our baby;s health lah hor no matter what birth method u use.

Sorry lah. I think it's just me who is blur and never read properly. Not your fault. No need picture of your scar lah! But you still can see a scar now? Mine cannot see at all already leh. Regardless, I will ask my gynae for you, ok? I will ask her about what kind of situation will gynae advise C-sec and not VBAC.

I agree with mama to 6Js that some gynae just prefer to make their patients have C-sec. Then they can plan their schedule nicely instead of being interrupted at night if you happen to go into labour. I always found that kind of practice somewhat unorthodox. But nonetheless, as long as BB and mom are healthy, then the rest is secondary lah.

Yeah, i agree maybe its cos she has a pelvis that's not conducive for natural birth. That's why I ask her what her gynae said mah. If he never give a good reason for suggesting C-sec, then it seems like its more for his convenience (and earnings) that he is asking Katherine to go C-sec lor.

I'm so envious that u can have all the pinky stuff. Mine is a boy this time, really no mood to shop. Sometimes I still glance at bb gal's stuff &amp; tell my hubby no chance to buy such sweet stuff anymore. I still keep some of my gal's dresses, they are simply too cute to give away.
 
wow, so many moms going for the scan on 15july. I'm going too, but my slot is 5-6pm. anyone 4-5? Hoping very hard that hb will be able to leave work early so he can go as well. This pregnancy he missed so many gynae appts due to work

this is already my #3, so cannot VBAC liao. What I hate is the area above the scar there is not v sensitive, like numb feeling even after 1.5yrs.

oh army dun say! cos i dunno how they torture those in there. i cant imagine im giving the govt of spore 4 boys for them to torture in army! but i heard nowadays the trainings are not as bad.

Shelled.. for my skin type.. after surgery will develop into a keyloid lo ( err.. dun know hw to spell ley.. it’s a raised scar ).. last time I had thyroid surgery also… then I had to go for steroid injections to flatten it.. stopped when I am having my #1.. then nw finally flatten liao.. but got ugly scar .. think u all might hve seen during e last two meet up.. but I’m used to it lo..

Mamato6js.. ya… tt’s what my friends say too.. as long as bb safe.. any method is fine.. yes, I changed gynae cos I feel that e 1st gynae put me to his schedule and put me on drip to induce me although I was supposed to go for natural and not due for delivery yet.. but I guess I’m ignorant then he say what then I do what  no questions asked too.. I choose my current gynae cos he’s my sis’s gynae.. and my sis both delivery is natural.. so I tot he’s pro natural.. but at 1st visit.. he asked abt my #1.. then suggested better c-sec liao.. then I damn sad..

your methold works, my bb turn down lioa, Dr Joceyln Wong say i can have natural birth lioa, YIPPEEEE so happy.

today went for 4D scan, bb head down lioa hard to scan, we tried for 1hrs, at the end radiograhyer say no pt getting all the scanning which cant see bb face &amp; waste the money.

so we give up at the end , so sad.. but the savin i go and joined FBI member card, heee as i already passed 28week, i need to pay SGD188.00

how does hiccups feel like? i keep feeling something like "slight poking" continously in my tummy but it's not movements or kicks leh.. wonder if it's hiccups?

Just an update on our visit to the gynae. Marc's a healthy 1.4kg at 28 weeks and has kindly flipped over to prepare himself for the world!

Have any of you mommies bought your strollers yet? I just bought mine yesterday! I wanted to get a Capella one.. But ended up paying more for a Combi because DH's heart was set on Combi, whenever we went to look at strollers, he will automatically "drift" to the Combi section. As though fatally attracted. But frankly, The Combi is really very easy to keep!! One hand is all you need! Capella one too bulky for our car. XD

oh ya, i oso ask about hicups, the feeling is like vibra and continue for a while, like vibra 1,vibra 2 vibra3 &amp; go on... then i tell Dr Joyceyln, i tot my bb is being strungle by the cord :p...

From my calculations... Capella comes with reasonably priced Car seat and stroller, Now GSS I think add up less than 350 at Kiddy Palace. BUT, The car seat can only use till about 9 mths. Then got to buy again. So I didn't buy any car seat for now.
 
I think my bb is hiccuping just now.. very cute feeling.. hehe.. very consistent rhymthm for a quite some time.. ahh cant wait to see her on Fri!!

sorry i missed ur post abt the stroller cum car seat. actually lots of strollers come with car seat adapters. the perg perego pliko can accomodate car seat for younger babies then when they get older just remove the car seat. or quinny also can use car seat. why dun u go down to mothercare harbour front or baby hypermart look at the selection there.

wah! sick of public transport go and buy car. what a wise choice! u got style! when u sick of car maybe u can consider a helicopter huh haha

To be honest, I didn't even realise you were at both gatherings! But keloids are just superficial "ugly" healing of scars mah, shouldn't affect what's happening underneath. My gynae prescribed keloid scar gel for me to apply after my postnatal checkup. I dunno if its due to the gel or what, but really heal up very nicely.

nope. From my gynae, he's at an average weight. Think one of the ladies posted a link either today or yesterday. I checked and that's the average weight at 28 weeks.

I went to the Kaki Buki Baby Kingdom I think it's at Shun Li Industrial Park.

They have 2 of them selling baby stuff, But Baby Kingdom has more of Capella and Combi. The other one.. Baby ( Don't know what ) Sells Quinny and Peg Perego and some other brands, Those more bulky kinds with big wheels.

I always wanted a stroller with big wheels, But then when it comes to being practical, I think The wheels are a burden. Thus, Got Combi. XD

By the way, Kiddy Palace sells Combi and Capella but their variety isn't as wide as at the warehouse at Shun Li, I think they supply to Kiddy Palace.

it's on heavy side about 8kg but can be closed with one hand unlike Peg perego.. initially hubby likes Peg but in the end we decide to go for the Capella since it's easier to handle with one hand too. Combi is out as we think it's too light and unstable :p just some tots on strollers.. in the end it's still personal preference...

still thinking wat to get for car seat.. eyeing Britax though
