This is my first pregnancy so I don't have any experience with after baby-bath. But I'd like to add that my friend told me before that she loves to rub the Burt's Bees Apricot Baby Oil on her baby after bathing him. The baby oil smells good, she says.
Hence I have bought 2 bottles of the baby oil from the spree sites =D
But whether there's a need or not, let's hear from mummies who already have babes.

So happy tdy. Spent the whole day packing my wardrobe yest & finally managed to store away all my pre-preg clothes. Now my wardrobe is bare! hahaha
And I cfm-ed my confinement lady tdy. So relieved, coz it's very very very late to cfm con lady when I only have 3 mths to go.
Other tasks for this weekend are to calculate how much I have spent on maternity clothes & BB stuff altogether. Think govt's $4k not enough hahaha.

Ooh.. read a bit abt ur troubles. I think someone was suggesting that u go home & rest in the pm rather than go out & walk ard. I think that's a gd idea. Elderlies can be more set in their ways & mentality, cannot expect them to change / give in lah. Better to find ur own solution if not being pek check all the time is not good for u.

cho..thanks for replyin mi..doctor say is because the water nt enough tats y very hard to see ..onli cant see bb gender..the rest can see..doctor ask mi to rest more n drink more water..the last check up my water gt increase n doc tel mi is a princess but nt cfm...the water must increase till 5 to 6 cm den enough..

Im staying at Sembawang now. My place is at Bedok. Not feasible to travel up n down everyday. Our car is at home too. Now just waiting for hubby to come home soon.
Sometimes really cannot tahan why they must zhong4 nan2 qing1 nu3. Really can see the 180 degree change in attitude towards me when they know that bb is a gal.

there is some whitish thing coming out of my breast. its semi hardened. mummies who have kids before, did u experience this before? should i be concerned? its not hurting or itching. but i've never had this, so now quite worried.

I have it too. Tho' Im not experienced in this, I've heard from frens that its normal. Dun have to worry.
I do feel bb kick everyday. Except when i was donw with high fever. I didnt feel her for 2 days. But i tink its ok also. Maybe u played no notice when bb kicked or moved. It also ever happened to me when i didnt really feel her move the whole day. Then at night, she started her kicks. Dun Worry yah?
Any mummies can help advise more? I believe its really ok but i duno if what i've said is enough to convince her.

Yah.. The discharge comes out mainly from the nipples and a little ard the areola. I wont suggest sqeezing them out. Rather, just wipe it off if possible, else leave it alone. Thats what i do la.

if it's whitish and from the breast, it's probably milk. body's preparing for arrival of bb. closer to delivery date, you may start "leaking". think of it as a good thing, means you probably will have milk ready for the bb when he/she is born!

MarieE I am also shocked to see so many ppl only gain few kilos in the 5-6mth while I ard gain 10kg on my 21th mth. You are still better than me gain 11kg on 26th mth... I begin to be very worried and must cut down on my diet now. Think got to stop drinking mummy's milk for a mth to see how too..

I heard that BBs dun aws kick very hard all the time. They also need rest mah. I also heard that our tummies got growth spurts, so when there's suddenly a lot of space, we wun feel the kicks.
Anyway, think I've been having Braxton Hicks..

I also gained abt 7kg at 23weeks. Actually think I gained 8kg when I came back from Japan at 22 weeks, but I lost 1kg due to either reduction in water retention or reduction in rice intake haha ( In Jap, ate rice everyday, a lot of rice, even at breakfast!)

oh now i keep my calendula high up cos my gal also like to slap the cream v generoulsy all over her body! exactly, its v exp lor! but the worst was when she went to my vanity table and took my SKII eye cream and use it as moisturiser on her face! i so heartache when i saw my newly opened tub only barely left half!

oh i can imagine ur frustration and miseries at ur lack of sleep. im someone who hates to be disturbed when i sleep too. even when the phone rings when i nap i get v fed up! i think they r concern for u but the way they express is too "overwhelming" huh? tell them ur needs or pretend to be unwell and say gynae ask u to sleep more
anyway ur hub shld be back soon right. something to look forward too, so stay positive ok

When we do go out as a family, we would normally take one car and she will always take the front seat. So back in mid feb this yr when bb's gender still unknown.. She FORCED me to sit in front. Sayin that its more convenient n confortable. Nothing i said could make her sit in front. I was ok to take the back seat. BUT now, she dun care le. She will always take the front seat tho my tummy is now more showing. (Dun get me wrong, I'm ok the take the back seat. Its just an eg. to show the change in her attitude)
Before knowing the gender, she used to be very concerned abt my preg.. Tho' Im at Bedok, she will call me every other day to ask or check on me. Eg. she will ask, Is bb kickin alr?, I must eat more.. She ever gave me a bottle of Glutinous Rice Wine which she made many yrs ago when I miscarried last yr. She will ask me EVERY SINGLE TIME if it was used up. She say she still have. So if finished le, just tell her, she will give me. BUT now ah.. She hardly asks anything abt my pregnancy le.
When I talked to anyone abt my pregnancy, she will always come in n join the conversation tho' we're not talkin to her. BUT now, when i was showing my mum bb's kicks and where bb was located in my tummy, she was least interested. Even my uncle's maid came to look. And the only thing she mentioned was, she told the maid to go get married la.. so can be preg n exp. what im experiencing.

I rem vaguely that gyna said she will see me 2x a mth when I hit 7th mth. That is 28 weeks hor? Maybe after my next visit, I can upgrade to seeing Babylet every 2 mths liao *yippee*

I dun have that many maternity clothes lah. I agar counted 20 tops, 6-8 working type bottoms, 6-8 casual bottoms like jeans, capris.. and maybe 6-8 dresses. A lot meh?
Some I regret buying - coz not so nice. A bit frumpy, but buy liao cannot waste $$. And some are nor maternity but just loose tops or dresses that can be worn over big tummy.
Main reason why I needed to pack wardrobe was coz I had to keep my pre-preg clothes & bras which are way too small haha.
