in fact, the principal juz called me earlier.. we confirm to postpone the startdate to 4 april le. hehe~ i wrote to them say my girls these 2mths sick..hvnt taken last dosage of pneumococcal jab..hvnt taken chicken pox vaccine... lalala~ 2mths is max they can postpone..so ok lor.

I also think it's better to settle your hse first.
That time Hubs staretd the reno project for the bedroom when I was in the 3rd tri. So stressed then. kept worrying whether it'll be completed before I pop. And have to camp at MIL's coz shd avoid the dust & glue smell.

MIL keeps saying Dragon baby is good. me Horse, Hubs Dragon, Sam Ox, so shd be another big animal. Makes it sound like we'll have barn fight at home or what *scratch head*

I'm not tat heng le..tried 2 cycles liao hopefully can catch a rabbit cos HB, FIL & my dad are rabbits. If can cacth rabbit, will be dragon liao. more impt is childcare issue..for me #2 will be going to IFC or nanny le.

RE: Crying in school
The crying is terrible but I'm quite hard-hearted cos I was quite determined to put him in the playgroup.
My mum is very soft-hearted. She couldn't stand the cries at all cos Ethan cried till his whole face turned red & his eyes were swollen. Both my parents were persuading me to pull Ethan out till he's older. Just when I wanted to pull him out, he stopped crying. So now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll stay that way.

LOL~ mum will prolly be nuahing at hm for awhile..den find a p/t or juz rest abit..n plan to go korea in may to look for my younger sis who will be finishing her exchg prog.
i cant judge yet.. but i tink for myself, the 'withdrawal' wun b as adverse bah!! prolly i'll miss calling hm at midday/aftnn to ask my mum wat the girls had been up to.. get feedback frm her wat nonsenses they did.. my daddy + sis will miss out on 'stories' my mum will bring hm everyday of the girls....... hmmmmm~
my dog will be happy, he doesnt need to be confined to juz the dinning area...he can prolly roam ard more.. maid will be more free to bring him down even more times. hoooo~

bobo, actually after a while, I got used to the fact the kids are in CC, and dun feel sad anymore. So I think everyone ard will get used to it, and it will become part of normal life. Infact when they are not in CC, my MIL and maid will headache cos all 3 at home is very noisy!!

yes yes, i'm so happy that these 2 days he has stopped crying already. but becos he's the youngest in class, my mum is allowed to stay in class to accompany him. i really hope the crying episode will not start again or at least just lasts 1-2 days when she's not allowed to stay there anymore. watever it is, we're all so relieved that at least he can be there throughout the 2 hours without crying. phew..... i've heard some kids cry for 6mths!

Mich, my MIL looking after jovia & my niece now. cos tat time Hubby hv a tok wif MIL we find she still prefer go bck to workforce tat's why we put jovia to full day cc in mar. so for my #2 i wun not dare to "mafan" her again lol unless she offer her help. if i strike these few mths (before mar) not sure if she will chg her mind.

prolly i can start to invest in a breadmaker or say a bigger oven/toaster..can bake sm little pastries or wat.. hohoho~

change sch just change lor. No prob. The kids are adaptable. My boy changed from IFC to home. Then go gym class. Then 3 hr daily playgroup for one yr. Half year nursery in one sch then change to current cc. No prob. In fact by the time we went to this current sch, he didn't cry at all coz he's so used to it already. Not even first day.

ya mashy, i oso like to believe that they r great 'adaptors'.....
for my girls.. im pretty sure they will be able to blend in de la.. but ya, i will not rule out my mum's concern abt them not eating food served there..n in the end lost weight! but..there oso might hv chance that the kid will be more open to try different stuffs cos the rest of the kids r eating too. wuehehe~

the odd thing is, altho the teachers say my boy eats very well in school, he hasn't put on weight. So I wonder sometimes if it's coz he has low growth hormone or coz the teachers didn't tell the whole truth or they were simply not giving enough food.

actually for me..seriously... quite indifferent abt them starting sch leh. well, but more of the inconvenience (rush to send n pick up), cost (sch fee, uniform, wat not..).... k la, i do worry if they will eat well or not blah blah... hehe. cos arh.. still the same for me.. i oni c them in the mrng b4 work..n evng aft work.... oh but hor.. ya, another point to support the decision to send them to sch is not to be too attached to the maid. (lala~ this point shld be able to win more score bah. heeee~)

Mummies can advise how to teach ur child to take formula, Elise is on tbf thr latching. Bottle is so foreign to her. She can't slp thr the night without waking for milk. So tired ***yawns

My mum decide to let me join the Snake year for school. So it's like the best of both worlds.
I'm a Dragon but dont need to jam with the dragons. kekeke!

been checking out zoophonics - thomson branch cannot make it, the recep is very blur and lack initiative, even offering wrong info, the teachers not responsive/friendly either
serangoon branch, the recep runs a tight ship, and is very strict, parents/child have to wait outside the centre, only allowed in the centre 5 min before class start. didn't get a chance to speak with the teacher or view the facility as' classroom door cannot open when there's class ongoing'
bt timah branch so far has the best of both worlds, recep and teacher are interactive and friendly, cons - location is not very stroller friendly - office on 1st flr, classroom at basement, no lift only escalator. to get to 1st floor, only flight of stairs at main entrance. toilets are not within the centre, common areas does not seem well lighted.
