hey onz n off i read ur posts that ur boy is hard to handle, i think it's alright. mine was as well then.. and in a way.. still now :p. boys r generally monkeys.. u r lucky if u have a gentle boy.. and hor, would u rather a playful active boy then one that's always sickly?

Why you don't want to take the Strep B test? It's v impt leh. My hb's fren's baby died becos their gynae din insist on the strep b test.
 
piggy:: i was juz tinking agn... trying to justify the $60-80 we're prolly gona spend on the entrance to the disco party........ r our babies too young to really enjoy? hehe. guess prolly i'll gv it a miss this time le...although i really find the idea so interesting leh.

zen: cos even if i have strep b, i am allergic to the antibiotics used to treat it. And even if at that point in time, i do test and test is negative, it wouldnt mean that i will not have it when i deliver..

i know how dangerous strep b is cos i've nursed a few babies when working in the icu who were ill cos of strep b.. sadly a few died.. but i had no choice, i cannot take the antibiotics.

So all i could do was pray that i wouldnt have any and that shayna will be fine.. thank GOd she's fine..

Crayola products are washable, as long as baby don't eat the crayons,markers, should be quite safe ba ... i let my gal doodle with whiteboard markers, sometimes she draws on her hands but at least can wash off ...

try not to let Sam hit you, next time, he'll just do it for fun.

my #1 hit me last week with a CD, just for fun, and he hit me continuously some more, i was so sad, i went inside the room and cried. when i told my sis, she said what i did was wrong, i have to discipline him there and then.

if he does, hold him, eye to eye, and say No, this is wrong. my #1 is almost 3 and no respect for me

Jul, Joeey is right, Ethan used to hit me unintentionally but when we adults does not tell them its wrong, they gets too fun and they'll go around hitting other ppl including children.

one time I got hit and I got real mad, I raise my stern voice and tell him to stop because it hurt mommy and it is wrong to do that, I walked away after that. he cried and from then on, he never do it.

i agree with JOeey mus discipline sumtime my boi will slap my HB when he lyin beside him tinkin it was fun n we will stop him beat his hand n told him no u cant do tt with a v stern voice tink he sort of get it cos he stop n look v guilty n play with other things.. my IL who dun really discipline jus told him no gently he will continue ...

my #1 doesn't like his Mummy much , when i had #2, i devoted my time to her ... n this time, i felt my love for her was reciprocated.

actually, my sis also say it's because i spend too much time with #2, that's y #1 can feel it. I try to be fair to both but i just can't click with #1.

Come to think of it, i was supposed to read the book on Bringing up Boys by James Dobson. Maybe this might help me ...

yes, #2 will imitate #1, and love to snatch toys from one another. that time #1 hit me, #2 was not around la, luckily ...

sometimes, both of them want to carry, and they won't let me carry either one of them, end up, all 3 of us sit on the floor and cry. Now, i learn how to carry both of them up #1 is 14 kg, #2 is 9 kig, can only last for a few seconds then gotta put down ...

Our darlings may not see it as we adults see it,they may see it as "hmm..let me see whether i can get a reaction" whereas we see it as they are hitting us with "malice".
My boy also startin doing tat..kenna scolding left right centre from us.
El-nino is so rite,guess we must be firm.
