My gal has 8 teeth only. Slower than my boy but she is a much better eater than him. She has been gaining weight steadily even when sick. Now 9.2kg.

Oh btw, the pd said ovann is a little on the small size but not to worry. She said he is light becos he is not tall. And the pd assured us that it's ok becos he is not tall not becos he's not growing well, but becos mummy & daddy also not tall.

hmm Kyler is also abt 77/78cm nia n many pp comment he tall n big size for his age leh even my gynae say so this consider short ah? weird.. but i tink now too early to tell if they r tall or short bah.. mus wait till puberty... my sis all taller than me only i am the shortie.. my HB side i tink average only sianzz..

ovann 9.4 only? He certainly doesn't look 9.4. He looks much bigger than my skinny gal how can be 9.4?
My gal last measured at kkh was 78cm. I don't think she is that tall, maybe they measure wrongly. 50%. So think u can plot on the chart and see? Boys are generally taller.

i hv this couple frens... both hb & wife very very tall... but their parents all average niah. the guy is oni son.. but the sis n bro of the lady.. oso abt average.... but ya... the couple super duper tall. actually their bb boy oso considered quite long..i mean tall. he's early dec '09 bb.. omoz same height as my girls.

hee! last week my FIL commented that my boy is short...
in my heart, I'm thinking that my FIL is a shortie and my hb only avg height lor + I'm shortie too... grow bean sprouts how to get long beans???
but I just smile and kept quiet... @_@

Regarding height, this is what I understand from the endocrinologist. They are drs who specialise in growth. Growth is not only affected by genes. It is also affected by diet. That's why u will see that the newer generation are taller because they have better nutrition. Many surpassed their parents' height. So even if u and hb are short, don't give up. Better nutrition can also help your kids grow taller. Milk is very important for growing so try to let them drink milk for as long as possible.

why not? If he is ok with it. My gal hates yoghurt. Think too sour. Maybe u can try chocolate milk or Milo? Some kids like that. Cheese is good too.

then change his diet. Add more fats, more calcium. At least if can grow with diet is good.
My boy needs growth hormone therapy to grow. Sian. Going to jab him everyday.

haha...Dolce, dun think i will be setting up my Xmas tree this yr. Cos will be having confinement. Think no mood lah.
Aaden has about 9 teeth and weighs less than 10kg. Dunno whether i should be happy or not cos for some diaper brands it is still the medium size, so it is cheaper per piece.

Calcium is good. I think so long as he eats, anything is good. Of course not just sweets and chocolates lah. I think your boy eats quite a good variety. My boy doesnt like chicken wings and nuggets. He hates food so it's a double whammy for us.

cannot my boy is so fussy he only eat mac's nuggets, give him other nuggets e.g. mos burger or those NTUC he dun eat a single piece. I used to be sooo paranoid about his diet. But now I really just let him eat whatever he can take. He can be so jiat lat if you force him to eat he will vomit leh
Thats why once he love that food i sure eat very often...boh pian. That was a period i was so sick of Ding Tai Feng because my boy like 小笼包 I was the one who want to vomit

what about if u ta bao macs nuggets and eat it at home, and he is not in a macdonalds setting? maybe he associates the nuggest with the environment..

not anyone can jab la. Doesn't mean short will get the therapy. It's damn expensive. Now at only 13kg I've to pay $400 a mth already. Next time can go up to $1k even. Food is a cheaper option.
Try hiding the vege? I fry chopped or even pureed spinach with egg. If he likes deep fried stuff, stuff tau pok with chopped carrots, vege, fish, spring onions etc and deep fry. I hide vege everywhere until now he is older and undrstands that vege helps him poo, he's more willing to eat it.

a series of blood tests. He just went for MRI to make sure no brain tumour. Discovered his pituitary gland is smaller than normal which could be the reason for his low growth hormones.
Wow, he sure loves good food. That means he's ok with protein food. So don't worry. Maybe u should try wanton and shui jiao too.

yeah i wanted to suggest lor, if celine's boy associates macdonalds stuff (box, etc) with food he can eat then how about trying that.
Get a box, with macs nuggets, feed at home. then slowly replace it with perhaps home made nuggets one at a time.
i had a client b4, he refuse to drink water. Will only drink coke from macs. So we tried, get the cup and straw from macs and put in plain water and he drank.. then slowly we show him, we pour the 'coke' from the macs cup into another cup. (so he thinks its the same) then he drank the 'coke' from the other cup too..

i was so desperate I bought this food book by Annabel Karmel http://www.annabelkarmel.com/ to ENTICE my boy to eat normal food but still no use. Now I already reach the stage whr he want to eat what just let him eat and add on more milk so he got some nutrition otherwise there's nothing i can do

Luckily *touchwood* my #2 eat "normally*. I nearly cried when my #2 eat those normal bee hoon that I fried.

his dietitician sugg that we give him cereals for carbo, beans and peanuts for protein and carrot for vege. Coz that's the few things my boy eats. Imagine that for a meal. We haven't done that but will prob try it out when we're back.

i think yr boy and my boy can be friends. My boy can eat white rice as a meal. I keep telling my husband if ppl dunno thot we ill treat our boy leh we eat so much in restaurant but he only eat white rice.
