i always go on fights when it reaches weekends..i also duno why..but look past it n it'll be fine again.... okay? *hugs* cheerups..
 


dolce: but not everyone going for the party tmrw may be online today to indicate which category they wanna join..

How about if u do up a blank sheet (can print the category on top and maybe columns for name of baby plus another column for pple to stick their stickers..) then tmrw we write in the names? Wanna limit how many contestants per group?

kiki/ Dolce: how to judge the most unalike mother and baby... ahhaha...

i have ask my frend camerman for phototaking to come tmr bday bash at 2pm OK hor. or there is already cameraman to take photos?
 
i think its ok if parents wanna vote for their own child. COs its only one vote (we give one sticker per family lah)

then as i mentioned, not everyone will wanna join the category, so it wouldnt end up that everyone has one vote. sure got some got more than one vote..

Or wanna limit the number of contestants?

Gals, jz to update the budget.

So far we hv 60 person attending the bash & additional contribution from April. So just enuf for the buffet $610($12x45pax+delivery fee $50 & rental of chairs $20).

If Jul confirm going we will have extra $10 or $20.
 
Ive got the namelist from Donkeymami. However the list are for those who submit the names for cupcakes. Those who are joining us but not in time for the cupcakes can let me have your names so that I can include in the voting list.

Think its difficult to limit the no. of contestants.
Suggest that we just mingle on Sat and whoever we think should win the category, we'll vote for them.
I will just list out the names with blank space next to it so anyone can vote for any babies for any categories....
Sounds easier and fair ?

burn on the spot take up lotsa time leh.. maybe let April friend burn on the spot den we distribute to few mummies of same area to help? e.g. west/east/north/south east 1 rep den help the same area mummies to burn den arrange accordingly?

wah! so many posts i can't catch up. quickly glance thru before going back to work.

my boy can take part in most hair & lightest baby. haha! he's only bet 8.2-8.4kg. he has lotsa hair & long legs like me. hahahah!

RE: Japan Tokyo Hotels
Any recommendation for cheap & good hotels in Tokyo? Most likely we're going ahead with our trip to Japan. Yday hb last minute said want to go. sigh... now hv to quickly source for cheap air tixs & hotels.
 
as mention by piggytoh it may take a lots of time to do on spot lah. my frend will pass me 2 master copies one in high res and the one in low res. not sure wat best way to burn it.
 
april, maybe the best way for the photos is to upload it to Picassa or something, and then we download the ones we like?

me also plannin to go tokyo leh... also decide yesterday which airline u bookin i am also at a lost cos last time go with tour haven tried F&E scare the mrt line v challenging..

we've been saying for months. cos a japanese fren getting married. we keep thinkin whether to go or not cos ethan can't take long distance. anything more than a 20mins car ride, he'll start screaming. then in july decided not to go. who knows hb change his mind yday.

we always go F&E. tokyo subway line looks complicated but it's not too difficult. cos their words a bit chinese looking so can still make out. their ppl are also v friendly. no prob getting around.

i'm still thinkin whether to fly by SQ or delta (ex-northwest). flew by both to tokyo before. ok. now headache wif hotel....

oh! if you're going after the 31st oct, SQ has v good promo! fren's wedding on the 31st so we have to be in japan earlier. hv to miss the promo. sad....

donkeymani is staying at b ikebukuro. I'm going to stay at chisun ueno. This time I wanted to stay at ueno coz direct keisei to the airport. U can also try toyoko inn hotels. When are u going? Donkeymani will be there till 5 nov. I'll be there till 6 nov. Haha, we might see each other there. I'll be at tohoku area mainly though.
 
Oh ya, when u book, look for early bird room rate. It's cheaper. They have 7 days, 14 days and some 21 days. If u can read Japanese better coz some offers are only in their Japanese website.

i'll be there frm 29th - 4th nov. u? the PH is 3rd or 4th ah? i stayed at villa fountain ueno last time. a business hotel. simple. but too small for family now. i still looking ard for hotel.

ya, the promo is to haneda or something. i heard from my jap fren tat it's even nearer & more convenient to the city compared to narita.

29 to 6. 3 is the ph. There's a matsuri at asakusa that day. I'm going. Maybe u can book twin room? They usually have super single beds and the room a bit bigger.

no autumn leaves to see there though. Hehe. I'm staying there also coz it's near asakusa for the jindai matsuri. I'll be coming back to Tokyo from hachinohe that day so need to rush a bit.
