Was thinking of adding wolfberries to porridge too. Hw do we cook it ? Need to soak or ?
Just need to add in when almost done or right from the beginning ?

joyful: My ger got fake measlses also known as rosela... might lao sai a bit after the rash come out... If the fever is not getting better with the paracentmol, u might want to get the doc to give strong medicine like brufen... That time we see 3 doc for her rosela, fever then 1st family doc give paracentmol no use. 2nd doc is pd gave the brufen 1 dose, the sweat come out the fever gone... Then rashes we think its normal... cos doc got say... but the doc never say will lao sai... When she lao sai... we freak out, bring to another PD who then tell me its normal for rosela to lao sai.. then give lao sai medication... From this get to learn more about rosela.
 
sian! could not get up from bed the whole of yesterday. Down with mastitis and fever as high as 40.1 degrees.

only managed to get up in the late afternoon. squeeze out some greenish yellowish milk. ~faint!~
cant image getting this after 12 months.

ouchie.. er i think it could be coz of complacency with draining off the milk as the baby is older. wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww u did it. 1 yr of breastfeeding! congrats
 
My girl also has rosela after her viral fever. Doctor informed that rosela can causes a child to have the following discomfort:

1)headache and
2)bloated stomach
 
Fake Measles : Jayla also got it last week. The PD prescribed suppository for her when the fever was above 38.5

Need to see doctor for antibotic since it is an infection. Ouch...

BB: oh i didnt know removing the seed makes it less heaty.

Re wolfberries: i put a pinch of wolfberries into the porridge from begining..

i'm planning to go to zoo on the 16th! oh yes, my gal had high fever a few weeks ago. my mum did some traditional ritual that reduce the heat. I think the old folks might know what i'm talking...

my mum used flour and mix with white egg, and then rub on my gal's body. can only rub down.

and is funny after she has done that , she broke the flour, can see some hairy white hair.
 
BabyS, yeah heard from somewhere but cant remember where. Dates dont brew too long cos the soup will turn sour.

Sweetmama, flour with egg, can see hairy white hair, sound like chinese "mo dan". Hmmmm....
 
kiki, i still can recalled the pain due to blocked ducts...u can try to call mdm rokiah to do breast massage for u..she's really good. her # is 9271 6091

RE: Red date
when i cook red date, the outside skin will break up into tiny pieces leh and my boy hates he texture. I tried... the skin is really quite hard
 
kikilala, can understand must be very frustrating. I got it one time n I was so frustrated that I massaged it really hard on my own n so painful I kept screaming ouch ouch ouch while massaging. I massaged on my own every 15mins interval. I did it in the office. It really helped cos end of the day the duct blockage disappeared on its own but really painful massage.

The red date put into porridge in the middle of the cooking process. Dont overcook it. The skin shouldnt peel after u finish cooking.
 
BB alva, ya ya but my mum said it helps to reduce heat as long as the person has high fever. i was quite surprise that i jokingly told my mum that it could be the dust that was trapped. hahha,

it really works on my gal. once my mum did that, she was not so cranky and was able to sit and play.
 
I just collected e tees today for all attending.

Tees r non stretchable, tight for denson..

Raffles place n suntec mummies can meet up for lunch n I pass it to u..

I don't mind washing for all n pass u on tat day too. Just in case e tees can't fit, pls prepare a red top for ur precious oso leh..

Babies going on stage must wear red top n white bottom leh.. Event organiser requested. Actually they requested babies on stage to wear e red top issued. If can't squeeze then Bo bian own red tee k. I take a shot of e tee later..

but most aug BB will be more than 12 mth by then the event organize. Shd take tt into consideration n gave bigger size option

tis top is L size, 6-9mth.. the one i got XL size is for our babies.. but oso small lah.. haha..

according to the vendor, the size is kiddy palace size.. but we doubt so lah.. haha

actually kiddy palace size not big also mah.. Nvm la maybe the nex BB day out can take tt into consideration n gave 12-18 mth option heehee... So more 1 yo BB can fit in

haha, i tink they shld just do a size bigger.. n stretchability is v impt for kids clothes mah.. haiz..

first thing, they got mi to try it on Denson, i oredi told them hardly can go in.. haha..
 
anyone bring your baby to swim in a public swimming pool yet?
we have been going to a friend's condo pool but now not so convenient.
thinking of bring her to the public pool which is near my place.
is it ok or very dirty?

how to handle tomatoes with all the skin and seeds?
donkeymami you mentioned that you cook pasta sauce with tomato..how did you cook the tomatoes?
