(2009/08) August 2009 MTBs

smurfy, I have not been there when he moved to new clinic. We are now in Oz, so far, have not given Ray any medication except for fever only, So far, we takes lots of garlic and onions for cold and TCM for cough but Ray has not taken any except garlics and onions.

Tks for all your advices & comments. I dun have oven, so can't grill or bake.

Ya, some items can pan fry like luncheon meat or some fishes. But some cannot mah ... like chicken wings and those frozen stuff like popcorn chicken, scallops etc.

Agree frying uses alot of oil that's why thinking of buying the small one, only 1L capacity

Ok, so better to throw the oil away if not cooking on the same day huh.

Janice, yr hubby so cute huh .. carry the fryer outside to fry

heat rashes
anybody knows how to prevent or anything to apply on the rashes???will applying aloe Vera gel help???
My gal havin alot of red spots on her body.

Sandy

red spots may not be heat rash. Last time my boy had rashes and I thought heat rash end up it's milk allergy. U may wanna check what may be the cause. May be food dustmites or anything.

Kiki
may not be milk. So u will need to try out or do skin prick test. That time I changed his milk to soy then within one week his skin was clear. That was how we confirmed it.

april> got medication for diarrhoa? think most pple will say juz keep baby hydrated. but he rejects water. only drink milk. think i got to go get some juice for him oso ba

Michelle
when Ethan had diarrhea, PD ask to dilute milk powder to 1/2 portion if he is on formula. eg if he takes 2 scoops for 4 oz of water, feed him only 1 scoops with 4oz of water.

should also stop giving fruits and egg yolk until its back to norm. for solids, just porridge with pork, fish, chicken.

michelle,
happy.gif
khatib is too far for us.
btw , 2weeks ago my gal had fever , flu n slight diarrhoa..
since birth she totally reject water n juice.
what i do is to dilute the milk for her..

el-nino> my boy still on breastmilk, haven started fm. doc gave a powder to drink with water. abit orange taste. heng ah. else no taste my boy wun drink =p

vivien> my doc says my boy is false measles. 3days high fever ends with false measles. diarrhoea was made worse with the antibiotic - argumentin prescribed for his bacteria present in swab test

haha. my boy is getting better except for the false measles on his body n his diarrhoea. 7times yesterday 3times this morning. calling the pd to see if can change antibiotic. cos augmentin actually cause diarrhoea.

hi dearies mummies...
been long since i last had a chance to log in..

ystrday i tried egg yolk (hard boiled) on my girls... keona had 1x diarrhoea aft dat.. does this mean she has allergy to it? ):

april> no choice. 3wks plus normal medication dun cure. rather than see him sick so long. i think it's better to cure based on the swab test results

jumbobo> thx. if u can pick up for me =p

bbja,
oh ya for to tell u...

ezcema bbs can't have very warm bath...

i use only slightly warm water for my boy's bath...
best to use cold water but i can't bear...scare he will catch a cold...

and also to let him soak in the tub...to let moisture get into his skin...

i learn this when i was watching...the korean health program on channel U.

jumbobo> when i need it? de tshirts not ready yet rite? hehe. i no urgent. u mean collect the aug bdae bash tees for me to distribute to the mums who wanna collect from my dad's hm at bukit gombak rite? =p

april
my boy had taken antibiotic too.. the pd gave so i tink quite safe loh..

cloudme
ya, nowadays i oni bathe him in slightly warm water oni.. muz soak how long?

bbja,
i let him soak 5-10mins...

and using a cup/container to pour water(i use the water from the tub) over his body repeatively if i let him sit in half fill tub...

since he sitting in tub...so water pour over his body will not be waste(goes back into the tub)....
happy.gif

cloudme
ok.. thanks.. will try that too.. hee..
oh ya.. u saw the post which i say KKH pharmacy got 20% for physiogel products.. but i 4get to ask till when..
