Pris, so is the doc that mentioned is the same one that you mentioned too?

Does anyone here knows any PD in the west near commonwealth or queens?

pris
yah... my boy started doing that "shang nao jing" action for quite some time already. didnt think it is a problem until I saw a TV problem and they mention that using baby plus will cause this. its exactly the same like my boy.

you didnt use baby plus for Kai right? did he hit his head when he was a baby?

pegsfur
no lah, not frightening you.. Just be prepared mah...
kids are very smart, he sees your mil everyday, so one day if he dont, he will start to ask.

My nephew is 6.

sweetmama: I stay at queenstown. i bring my daughter to see Dr Wong at tiong bahru plaza- paediatric center. 1st floor, near subway side. behind the tiong bahru medical center/ clinic and the thomson's women's clinic.

Very good dr. Had also worked with him in KK. Very meticulous, patient, not pushy and will engage and play with the baby (unlike some drs who will just talk to the parent and dont bother to engage the child to gain their trust kind, just check, jab etc etc..)

If u have FBI or SBI from TMC can get discount also.

He was Shayna's PD when she was born, then we brought her there for her usual follow ups lor. And when she is sick we'll bring her there.

sweetmama: how about giving her some pro biotics? THats what i do when shayna gets diarrhoea. I try not to give anti diarrhoea med. I got this probiotic from dr Wong, pro gaia, but very ex.. but u can buy lacto forte from pharmacy, 1 satchet twice a day.

shayna likes to smach her hand on table, her own leg, bed.. whatever she can get her hands on.. isnt this a normal phase they go thru? Shayna wasnt a baby plus baby leh..

juliet: hahah... u put travis in the basket ah? good idea. hahaha.

i like the woodlands library..

Sandra, its seems perfectly normal for bbs to do that, exploring what they can do with their hands and feet ! currently Travis's favorite pastime is to keep squatting and standing -_-!

BabyS

i'm using seba med for my boy too.
the cheapest I can find is in Mustafa. one big bottle + free small bottle bundle is about $45 (cant remember exactly)

one big bottle can use for quite long... about 3 mths, and my nephews will use when they visit.
instructions say use sparingly mah, so I will usually use half pump per bath.
but my mum and my sis's helper use about 3 pumps per bath! ... ache!

sebamed
i use the shampoo onli? and the bubble bath..

other times is califonia baby/avent/latycd

dun wanna stick solely on one brand now

he told use to change to normal physiogel cream...

good lor at least javier is not allergy to food...
but mine is allergy to shellfish...hope he will grow out of it soon...

Have a silly question to ask .. normally when we deep fry something, we use alot of oil rite? What do u do with oil after you've fried your food? Throw away?

I saw a mini deep fryer at Best yesterday and was very tempted to buy. It can at most fry up to abt 5 or 6 nuggets at 1 go. Up to this age, i've never fried any food before cos i scared of splattering of oil. Furthermore i oso dunno wat to do with the remaining oil. And lastly, i dun like to have an oily kitchen ... no time to go & mop & clean the kitchen thoroughly.

So when i saw the mini fryer ystday, i almost wanted to buy, if not for the rascal threatening to scream again.

kiki, Kai did that too at a certain age. It is still safer than they bang their heads against the wall or floor. I know some babies who do not use bb plus bang their heads against the floor. It is just a phase and will past.

pegsfur
my mum will keep the oil in bowl and use it to cook other dishes.
for me, I hardly deep fry anything, usually just pan fried with a bit oil (even for nuggets) or just toast without oil
those fryer need to pour alot of oil right?

pegs: I usually throw away the oil. my mum will keep th oil for only a short while if she is going to deep fry something again..

y dont u fry in a pan/ wok then cover up with the lid (dont close completely..) then it wouldnt splatter as much and u dont waste oil. I dont deep fry usually also. Usually pan fry..

pegsfur, actually for nuggets my MIL toast it leh... if my hubby wans to cook his fish and chips.. he'll carry the whole deep fryer to the corrider put the extension cord and fry outside...

so happy i finally placed my order with Pine Garden's for shayna's 1st cake. $56 for a 1kg lychee (non martini) cake plus design..

Babyja,
my friend bb got eczema also she use QV she say v gd but dunno the price la..

Pegsfur,
if u cook daily usu i will use the balance oil from fryin on other cooking but id the oil is v dark better throw..

BabyS,
my bb like to hit his own leg.. until blue black... wat ever he had in his hand he will knock against his leg
sad.gif

pegsfur. you can grill nuggets, fish fingers, harsh brown and fries in the oven. Just place them in a non -stick baking paper over a baking tray. It takes about 15 minutes and it is as good as from MacDonald and without using oil.

Janice & Pegsfur, I did the same for fish and chips. Just place on non-stick baking paper on a baking tray and grill in oven.

Pris,
hee my boi so far ok jus tt my friend who use tt say better than sebamed so maybe the gals can try... shd be cheaper bah:p

Nanny : I got some problem with nanny cos I feel she is not being helpful I ask her to look after my boy on sat half day she hesitate said she got this got that but she goes trave for a week I never complain still giving her same salary .. Thinking of putting at IFC too but health of bb is a major concern that he will get sick easily and too much medicine on babies will have a bad effect on his health in future...

piggy, we used it as it is winter and both boys need a moisturer to keep the skin from being dry. It was recommended to me by a pd nurse coz I was looking for one for kids and babies.

pris.
i just noticed they have adjusted their medicine price !!!..

was doing a cost comparsion when doing my medical claim and noticed that

babiesmeme,
if ur nanny did take a gd care of ur bb beside the unhelpful part maybe u can bear with it first? but if u not even happy with the way she take care of bb put in IFC maybe better i rather bb sick than hurt or worse.. just my 2 cent worth la
