sitting unassisted

what does this mean? meaning they can pull themselves up to sitting position? or meaning they dun need to use hands to support? or using their own hands to support = sitting unassisted?
 
sam refuses to sit!

he will purposely let himself fall backwards when i try to make him sit with his hands supporting. i tell u this boy is super 'nua'!!!

When I went to SBCC Dr Ong for 6 mth jab. The clinic nurse showed and told me to put Zachary in sitting position and it is a must to do that once everyday to help him get used to it.

most of the time we let him lie in playpen or bed on tummy
recently i rented jumperoo...he juz started to learn to jump in it
but he wont stand even if i carry him upright...he will only jump, tink he too used to jumperoo? dunno if jumperoo is bad for him then??
i can feel dat he doesnt haf much strength in his legs...
 
ryan feels warm n i use the ear thermometer to measure him...its 38degrees
is it considered fever?
hope not to gif him med
any natural/home remedy to bring his temp down?

the pd says 38deg on ear therm is fever. below that, not really fever n no need for panadol.

u can sponge him, but.. better monitor. now evening liao, hard to find doctor

me also like u! let sam learn naturally. i din bother with tummy time, siting, flipping.. sam learned to flip from front to back.. then back to front.. turning 360deg.. doing commando pushup.. by himself

think he's tryimg to crawl. quite amusing to watch him 'swing' back n forth on his knees n arms - like.. ahem.. having sex

prob is.. sam knows how, but he doesn't want to. after he lets himself topple, he can smile at me cheekily. silly boy

i din have jumperoo but my boi when excited will jump or march when i put him on standin position.. but is leg quite strong la can stand also..
 
Mashy, I think I have to agree that it could be the blood group. My boy has shares the same blood group as me while my girl shares the same blood group as daddy. So my boy is the tame one while my girl is the fiery one.
 
amy mummies came across rashes like this? got it on his armpits, thigh, arms and abit at body..
my got it for more than a week.. initally PD say look like bites and gave some cream but it got worst this few days so when to see PD again.. now say mayb due to allergy or infection.. i din let him try any new food except happybellies brown rice for the past 2 weeks leh.. and thats after his rashes came out..

hmm. sam got a lot of rashes on his face n neck recently. i go inspect them 2moro n c if it's the same type?

did pd say whether it cud be due to the food previously? but 2 weeks.. a bit long too to have reaction or not?

true.. he took v long to flip partly coz he's heavy. can see him struggling to move his heavy butt haha

n recently i find him heavier again. guess he gained weight again. but he still looks so short hiaz

ur dose was how long ago? it needs to increase with weight. sam's dosage was 2ml at 8.77kg, n 1.5ml at 7.38-7.9kg.

tink dat was given during his previous jabs...but i cant rem when....hehee...
he is now bout 8kg
gave the 1ml n he fell asleep...measured n now 37degrees...juz now went up to 38.5 degrees
hope he can sleep well tonite...if not first thing tml is bring him see PD liao

har? 8kg cannot take 1ml only lah. shd be 2ml liao.

btw once opened, the panadol can only be kept for 5mths max.

hi all,
I gave little M pumpkin 3 times and all 3 times she spat out. Haha! Verdict: She Hates Pumpkim!

Little M's taking her solids quite well. Too bad after CNY, she developed a cough and now fever. Sigh ... Big M also has cough.

My ger also can't sit. Not nua, but most prob backbone not very developed. Cannot let him do it if he's not ready. Else later he injure himself.
 
Two days ago was little M's 6 months. Now that I've pumped for soooooooooo long, I can finally try to stop, but feel very sayang since supply enough. Haha, dunno what to do man! Maybe go back to work I will auto stop. keke

PD nv say leh.. he develop the rashes abt 2weeks ago but during that time i din recommend new food..

can keep for 5months once open ah? that time the clinic told me 1 month only and put in the fridge..

yeah they told me opened - keep 5 mths. not opened, 6 mths.

Actually vpost is like that de. last year i organized babymall spree then vpost actually screwed up and delivered someone else's parcel to me!!

I'm using CGW for Babymall. Thank goodness coz this time my spree hor.. Babymall packed in HUGE box. CGW repacked from 17.5kg to 12.5kg - that's 5kg of 'air' lor *angry* Think the last time also repacked n cut down by 5kg

U're doing BBmall spree right? Strongly advise to use CGW for BBmall. Vpost for Old Navy seems ok. Got some packages a bit big, but on the whole not ridiculous like BBmall

looks like allergy... maybe it's dust or detergent? sometimes rashes take a few days to appear, so u need to think 5 days before the rashes appear, anything new u gave him?

i didnt let renzo practise sitting, cuz last time he learnt to flip only around 5 months+ so i force him also no use he just dun want to flip.. so i just take it easy and wait for him to learn on his own..

here's him in sitting position, he can pickup the orange on the floor and bite and still can balance himself... 2 weeks ago he could only sit like this for less than a minute, then that day he was sitting down and watching tv and really sit for more than 10 mins, from then onwards he can sit for quite long... so i think no need to worry too much whether your baby can sit or not, i see mashy's gal so advance can even stand on her own liao, but guess it is just a matter of time that all babies here can do the same, wahahaha...

i think the rashes look like what my niece always gets, later i reconfirm with my sis again, for my niece it is caused by dust i think, if new clothes never wash she wear liao sure got rashes de.. my bil is like that also, if bedsheet never change say for 1 month, he also gets rashes.. so i think mashy is right, got to think about if there's any changes 5 days before... that time my niece sit in her old stroller which we did not purposely clean but it is always in the room so it is definitely not that dusty, but still she got the rashes..
