my boy was 9.1kg and 69cm at 5 months, then 5.5 month already 9.3kg and 71cm.. so now still got 1 more week he will be 6 months.. i am scared he will be 10kg by then but what to do, as long as babies are healthy think not a big issue..

Usually i lunch ard 1pm but as I pump during lunchtime too so might have limited time. Might just pop by to say hi...

Seriously, I feel kinda of useless as a mum. *emo. was so busy with my shop and household dog and my bb gal. The doctor say I should start feeding her on fruits too. Feel super lousy today cos nvr feed her with fruits and follow some agar agar MIL method to feed my bb gal. And now she is overweight so much that the range is off my doctor's reference chart. *sorry with the grumbles. time to take charge and read proper info and getting my guy to do the same. we always let MIL and my mum to do whatever they want as we've grown up fine anyways (that's what they say)
Do you gals have that issue with MILs and mums? They prefer their methods of raising babies. *groan (is that why I'm so chubby when I was a bb? lol)
Oh before I forget, any mommies signing up any photography package? currently i'm in a bulk purchase of seanlau.com photography package and is S$208. We've now got 16 mums and if there are 4more interested mums joining us, the package is just S$198 only! A March 2010 mtb is organizing it and apparently mine bb gal is one of the oldest bb ard. let me know if you're interested... i get Noon (the organizer to email you)

Hmm.. I follow my own idea of bringing up BB. Most of the time, it's getting advice from here, asking qns of PD lor.
Seriously if we can afford the time n energy, by all means follow the 'new fangled' bb raising methods. But if we need help from mums/mils, we just gotta close one eye n let them do it their way as long as our BBs aren't harmed in any way. Like u say, we also grew up n are still alive right?

Denson not given porridge yet, he duno how to swallow well yet.. so i break the puffs into smaller pieces then giv him.. initially he will chew chew n spit out.. after a few more, he like it..
he will make noise when i give him too slow oso.. haha

for now as long as they're happy n well its oki

which is the best.old folks will always give fresh n even go market daily...they dun mind cos its the best for bb.
for example apple...u too can eat after u puree for her.vege too.sweet potato u can cut 1 pc n keep back in the fridge.
someone advice me not to keep fruits in the fridge....

Yup he looks chubby cuz he is indeed very chubby, haha... but his bone is not the super big one so i guess his bone must be heavy also, if super big bone think sure above 10kg already..

haha yup at least Ethan was still 8+ at that time when Renzo was already 9+ lor.. i am not worrying as long as he is healthy cuz we have boys, if we have gal then i sure more worried lor, haha.. That day I saw Ethan's photo on FB, i told hubby see i never buy the bumbo chair cuz Renzo will sure stuck de since Ethan also stuck.. haha..
so now we cannot gauge based on other babies lor cuz like Gin said most of them around 7kg while our boys are so big, so i can only gauge based on Ethan's development, then hubby say wah power Ethan is teething, Renzo lose liao, haha i said this kind of thing also can compare sia, every baby is diff mah..

Gin you are organizing ah, aiyo me signed up already with one July mummy lor last time she posted here.. she managed to get 30 of us sign up together, and i just made appt with Sean Lau today..
I've seen the actual photos cuz my friends brought their babies there, really nice.. hope our babies all can have a great session there..

Today bring my son go MT A for the 6in1 jab, eat rotavirus med, pnenm 2nd jab. luckily his fever is not so high. less than 38 Deg.
my boy 5mths 3 weeks, 7.4kg and 67cm.
maybe not so tall ya. haha...
only just glance thru and saw some photos. haha..

sometimes he tastes it, but mostly he only puts his fingers in his mouth. or pacifier lor.

that's actually a recycled settee from my room. we tore down the walk-in wardrobe n settee under the window n redid the whole room so that we cid shift in n let sam have our existing bedroom. his furniture's all recycled - even our old bedside table, drawers etc that we salvaged from our old walk-in haha
ooh.. abt 5-10min each time.
