my dog is kept in the kitchen as her fur is always flying ard in chunks.. shetland sheepdog la.. esp now ethan likes to put his hands into his mouth or shld i say watever things he can get into his mouth.. and the bumper mat is place in the bedroom.. that day i was watchin discovery home and health... there is this program call facemaker then this toddler half of his head skull bitten off by the dog.. luckily he survived jus that his head there is a big hole.. so hv to operate and replace a skull to cover his brain.. i c already also scare.

its true... I saw that too. Have to monitor if doggie will be agressive towards kids or not. Some dogs really dont like kids... well... even some human beings also dont like kids lah.
Certain breeds are known to be very good with children.

My doggie will be jealous as he can't sleep in the room with me now. So he went to "she she" under the table! Before this he was paper-trained, now quite often he will do it somewhere else.

haha! maybe I should ge the potty stickers for my doggie... kekeke!

weishy, i got the abc mat, was using that BUT now my gal has learned how to dismantale and put inside her mouth! so have to kp the mat, playpen i have but sooo small, no plc for her to flip even! i think the most 2 turns? hehe...we buying our own mattress back leh, wana get the simmons one, here so cheap, sg damn ex!

piggy, shipment back is ok, we even shipping our tv and mattress back...only find it nt very worth it to buy here, cos with the amount we pay, go back sg can buy the biggest one leh...

Swimming for babies,
I'm keen to join for the next swimming gathering. Will probably bring Sophie for her first swim in the pool after CNY. For mummies who have brought your babies to swim, do you apply sun block?

Your hair clips are lovely. Unfortunately Sophie's hair is still so short after we shaved it off whe she was 2 months. Will dress her up with a hat when we go CNY visiting.

Babies sleeping
Any mummies with same struggle as me? Find that my baby is sleeping later and later these days. She used to sleep at around 9plus, now a days it's 10 plus. Sometimes she'll take a nap in the evening for half and hour to one hour. timing can be anytime betwee 7- 8. So we tried to keep her awake hoping that she'll sleep earlier. But backfired as she got so overtired that by the time it's 9plus, instead of sleeping, she'll cry her lungs out

Have to carry, pacify and all. We do try to have a bedtme routine, either bathe or sponge her, read story book, sing songs or play lullaby but she doesn't want to sleep after that. SOme days she 's really not tired, but somedays she looks tired and will rub her eyes and yawn but still don't want to sleep. Been quite impatient with her these days and get frustrated with her. Feel it's so tough especially after working a whole day and she don't sleep early and have to coax her to sleep. Will it ever get better?

every baby has their own pattern. My boy can sleep around 9+ but he'll wake up every 3 hours during the night. Quite siong too.

It could be that BB wants to spend more time with you as you are not around during the day. Maybe could be her naps pattern change during the day?

last evng reached hm abt 7pm...soon aft, they were both tired n cranky (apparently hvnt been sleeping frm 4-5ish).. felt like aft a whole day at work..rtn hm to see them sleep...like very wei qu.. den got angry..i called my mum n 'scolded' her! ): n gave hell of 'good times' to my maid oso!!!

but they tired..so boh bian.. let them sleep.. whn hb back frm sending my mum hm, the girls woke up abit.. clean them up, had milk.. den went back to sleep agn le. oni to wake up this mrng 5ish-am.

joia, my bb slps ard 7-8 dependin wat time is his feed.. by latest 9pm he wld be slping but on weekdays latest by 8pm.. we usually off the lights in the room and no sound although he wakes every 3 hrs for milk he'll go back to slp after that...

Usually she will nap for 15-30min ard 7/8pm...and will be awake all the way till her bed time.
If we let her sleep early, she will wake up few hours later and not sleep till exhausted ( which could be an hour or so ). This is more tiring for us since we do not sleep that early too

sweetmama, can 1... needs training.. my cousin will auto doze off ard 630 to 7 even whilst changin into his pj when he was young.. mine i trained him from 7pm also.. but sometimes got dinner den delay abit.. but he'll wake up early too la so no slping early on weekends.. weekdays he'll wake up when i on the lights weekends the sun come out he also wakes up

normally my boy will nap around 9+pm then wake up for milk at 11pm then back to sleep around 12+ till next day feed at around 7.45am to 8am.. we tried not to let him nap at 9+pm but he will angry and cry..

If you dont have any hospitalization coverage for your girl (either from company or personal), then it's advisable to get it.

I have coverage from my company, but I am thinking of getting the prudshield (using medisave $131 per year) and prudshield extra (using cash $285 per year). *touchwood* if in case need hospitalization, then no need to pay any $$ already.

My hb dont like to get any life plan or investment link type of policy as he felt that the returns are bad...
though I felt like getting one for my boy leh... everyone needs at least one plan right?
