my baby having teething discomfort too and i bot this teething gel from guardian, called dentinol or somethg, cost $6plus. I think it works well for him, supposed to numb his gums etc.
I am deciding to order the teething tablets or not? hmm....

not to worry.. for ur case, ur boy is 5weeks prematured so u got to minus 1 month for his development..
for my case, coz my boy is 9weeks prematured, so i have to minus 2months for his development. if i have to set him as a june baby, he will be way far behind from the full term babies borned in june..
thats what KKH taught me when my boy was borned.. and i have to use this method till he is 2 year old..

i won't be too worried if i were u. all kids develop at a diff pace. some bb lang skills are better, some motor skills are better. even when we're in sch, each also excel in diff ways. My boy's fine motor skills is poor too but his memory n linguistic skills are good.

BTw, mummies, anyone wants a sign language book? the sign language book is still available as Zen is not taking mine anymore. Her sister-in-law has a dvd on sign lang and she is giving away to her. so, if anyone would like to have it, let me know...

it's really fun to do sign/gesture to your baby as they will try to imitate. Songs like 'twinkle twinkle little star' is easy. Mummies can sign and do the gesture of little star.

my gal tries to imitate that by lifting up her arms and hands and do the 'open close' gesture. so fun..

i sign 'abc' to her whenever i remember to sing 'abc'.haa.. she will reach her hands out and try to imitate that but ..too difficult for her to do so she will just stare at mummy's giant fingers...

Don't think you should be too worried since every baby develope differently. Zac can flip both way quite early and start to be interested in walking quite early too.

My boy likes to grab stuffs, shake it, throw it, put in mouth ect. but only recently know how to flip both way (tummy to back still havent really master, always want help.... lazy!).

When I was 8, I had 2 neighbours both with a toddler just a few months apart. 1 toddler know how to walk but don't really know how to speak clearly yet. whereas the other know how to pronounce words clearly but can't really walk without support.

Hi mums, haven't been posting for quite some time as really busy at work. my boy going for his 6 months jab next Friday, bracing myself for another episode of fever/crankiness.

meanwhile he just started solids last two weeks and seems to be eating well. i'll be reducing my frequency of pumping already since he can start eating solids and have some extra milk stored up in the freezer.
