Haiz..my baby is having a cold- running nose and cough with phlegm. mum brought her to GP cos i couldnt take time off to bring her to PD. doc prescribed prospan for the cough and nasal decongestant for running nose. thought I would just standby the medicine cos read that we should try not to give medicine to babies as far as possible. but her cough got worse so no choice but to give her the meds. anything else I can do to make her recover fast? worse thing is that i am flying off for business trip on sunday..gonna be so worried about her.

BB normally wakes approx 7-8.

I'll still feed her milk as per normal. She'll fall asleep after playing for awhile. I'm currently feeding her cereal and fruits.

When she wakes bout 11ish or so, i'll prepare the cereal and grate the fruits for her. 1 bowl each and a cup of water.

Cereal: Frisocreme and Healthy Times (at the moment)
Fruits: Organic apple, pear, banana's, avocado mixed into the cereal

I didnt want to feed her fruits if she was on cereal, but she was constipated, so bopian. I had to grate fruits to help regulate her bowels. A few hours after her solid feed, about 2 hours she'll be hungry for milk again. And she will finish 180ml.

Try to introduce solids in the mornings/early afternoons to beware of allergies. Jus in case bbs are allergic, we can send them to pd's early. Hope it helps.....

for a start cos the amt i feed is little so no affectin the feedin time but now tt i increase the amt of solid i will reduce the milk amt instead so wil not affect the feedin time den slowly will reduce 1 feed lor..
