seems like many of the babies here are showing signs of teething soon, sucking everything that goes near their mouth. But I observed that for Sophie she is no longer to suck her thumb and wants to put her beanie bag, blanket, toys into her mouth to bite instead. Is this also a sign of teething? I tried to touch her gum, but dun feel anything there leh.
SL,BB,
wah your babies can start to talk now. Impressed!!
ktmum, Jul
These days Sophie also seems less interested in talking and babbling and prefers to shout and complain esp at night when we leave her alone in her cot to sleep. I think it's her way of protesting and will keep shouting and shouting for us. If we ignore her, it will escalate into crying if we don't go and see her. Wondering how to make her sleep earlier. Until now she will drink milk to sleep (I latch her on). Last night had a hard time calming her down as she cried for 2 hours from 8:30 to 10:30. is it posible that babies at this age can still be coliky?
Baby Flipping
Sophie is still not showing any signs of flipping leh. Not when she's on her tummy or her back. There was a few times when she'll twist her body, but stopped doing that now. Suspect that she sits too much when she's in the infnat care so no chance to be on her back or tummy to want to flip. Now whe she leave her on her playmat for more than 15-20 mins, she'll complain. But when we sit her in her swing or bumbo, she'll be quiet.
Pegsfur,
For me, my hubby quite hands on so will help to take care of baby. So far, he will play with her, change her, feed her, bathe her (only twice), read books to her, carry her. I appreciate it very much as I can also have own time to rest, do housework and just take a nap on the weekends.
