yeah! my CL commented that this wipe is so much better than others cos others will cause irritation on baby's skin so everytime she did confinement, she use cotton and water to clean. lol But I insist for her to use angel wipes to test if Zachary's skin is suitable mah.

this batch's angel wipes is so much better than the last. Last batch (bought around may) was connected and when I pull, more than 1 pieces will come out. This batch is if you pull one, only one will come out so if u need more than one, u need to "search" again to pull out another piece. how I wish they make it so that it is like box tissue, pull one piece, the next piece will come out a little. lol Also, it is wetter than the last batch.
Around May's promo was $5 for 3x 80s and free 1 x 30s. Now is it back to this one? Also not bad if it is back to this promo. Anyway for $4.40 promo, can only buy 10 bundles. I use 1 pack every 3 days! so 1 month already about 3 bundles gone. =( Hopefully there is promotion around Nov.

Hi all,
I have also given birth.. have discharged today.
My birth experience is quite scary...
I opted for induction on monday. A pill was inserted early at 6.30am... and i was transferred to my ward to wait...
Contractions starts only about 1.30pm... which i werent sure whether is stomachache or contraction.... and monitoring till 4pm at my ward.. i thought i better ask to be transferred to delivery suite since it felt like contraction with a lot of stomach hardening... and at about 1 per 3 minutes.
At the delivery suite... pain was getting unbearable... and at about freq of 1 per 2 min at about 6pm+... but dilation was only 0.5cm!! So i opted for an injection on the thigh.. that helped to reduce the pain by 50% and makes me drowsy... so i was able to tahan for another 3hrs plus of pain! And a check, dilation is only 2cm after that 3/4hours.
Oh my god, i cant imagaine how much time more i need to tolerate the pain.. so i opted for epidural... and with the injection of epidural....it was like heaven! No pain.. so comfortable...
BUT!!!! The worst thing happened.. the side effect of the epidural has caused a fast drop of
my baby's heartbeat.. and causing it to be weak.. and not able to be detected by the machine.
Panic striked! Lots of doctors called in immediately.. and within 1-2 min.. i was pushed hectically to the operating threatre...
I was not given any choice.. they cut me almost immediately when we reached the OT.. after increasing the dosage of the epidural. Helpless and consicious.. i could only see more than 10 doctors and nurses working very fast and luckily within 5 min.. the baby is out!
Thank god.. he is safe and sound after 1 night of oberservation.
It is surely a frightening experience for me... the pain and the heart attack!
Nevertheless...Shuan is a healthy baby at 3.05kg, delivered under emergency c-section.

decided to wait till the schedule date 18 Aug to induce. transfer to the post-natal ward.
18 Aug 9am - Dr ho came and burst waterbag.
18 Aug 10am - Midwife checked only 5-6cm dilution
18 Aug 11am - Labour pain in tense diluted 10cm
and baby heartbeat dropped
18 Aug 12 noon - dr ho rushed to the delivery suite and assist delivery.
BB born at 12.40pm.

Sharon: I opted for induction coz i am having terrible pregnancy induced rashes... and there is no sign of labour and it was just 2 days before EDD, so we decided to have induction.
Yours would be a smooth one, i believe! Jia you!
Weishy: Ya.. we were thankful to the group of doctors, nurses, midwife, etc. They are super efficient and decisive.
I opted for a female doctor coz felt uncomfortable with male doctors. And with this emergency c-section at the unexpected timing... my doctor had already gone home, leaving the doctors on duty to do it for me... ended up also so many males inside the operating theatre..
But at that time.. also heckcare liao...and these thing happen so fast and was also thankful that my female doctor also rushed back immediately... and she must have stayed very close to the hospital.. she came back in time to stitch me up!
Felt that KKH has left a very good impresssion in me... coz they have doctors and nurses to update us during operation and when i was at the recovery ward..assuring us that baby is fine..

cloudme: it's normal, my #1 also like that. but I just gave birth 3 days ago, he's doing fine, so dun hv to worry too much. Somemore, I just started him at childcare 1 Aug and now, he doesnt cry anymore when we drop him off. Yest discharged and now he can help me bring mei mei's diapers to me when i ask him to, look concern when mei mei cry or when i clean her. They will understand one...

reall?! i'm so unlucky.... sigh.... i checked both teats also no hole leh. i bought the small bottles in a box of 2 that comes wif teat. think i better open the box of big bottles to check if there's any hole. the hole is in the middle of the teat or on one side like NUK teat?

peg, i drink that tea - every two days or so. at the same time, drinking papaya & fish soup every two days or so to increase milk supply. my #1 helps to clear my engorgement and empty my milk ducts so more milk can be produced. i never pump though so dunno what's the output but my #2 now weighs 4.05kg - up from 3.4kg when we discharged from the hospital on the 12 Aug (was 3.68kg at birth on 10 Aug). HTH!

pmm, mine also regurgitates out some milk after feeding - i think have to remember to burp them after every feed lor. i'm super lazy coz i latch on lying down - keke... we both drift off the lala land during the nursing session so my bedsheets always have milk stains.

At close to 1PM, contractions started, about 8-12 minutes apart. As it took a long time from the time contractions started to my #1 delivery, I thought that I needn’t hurry to the hospital. So I packed the last few items I need in my hospital bag and even took a bath first. Also called the nurse at Dr Chan’s who suggested that I get myself monitored at the clinic first. By the time I had my contractions monitored at 415PM at Dr Chan's, my contractions were 5 minutes apart and was already 6cm dilated. I was admitted into the hospital immediately. It was fortunate 'cos I made it in time for epidural. If I had been dilated for more than 6cm, it would be too late for epidural. Thank goodness... At 6PM, I was 9cm dilated and the midwife had asked me to start pushing. At 2 pushes, my waterbag broke. Dr Chan arrived at 615PM. After 2 pushes, little Shannon was delivered at 621PM

Zen, the hole is in the middle of the teat. I bot mine under newborn starter set..got 2 big & 2 small bottles...so far i'm using 3 avent small bottles all teats got hole lo.
think u shd call avent & return to them or ask for exchange
