Ya becos previously I thinking of let bb sleep on mattress on the floor but I feel is abit unsafe as the my mum or myself who sleep on the our bed then to drop our blanket or pillow while sleeping . I scare will cover the baby breathing lor so this morning keep thinking aiya just get one cot for safety purpose ma .

So now gan cheong feel like getting one , but I dun have time go see the cot so better for delivery to my hse lor . Maybe weekend go Ikea see see ,IKEA have one $185 only

Morning mummies

Today i'm on leave. Afternoon heading to my gal's school to celebrate her birthday with her classmate. 2 Aug will be her actual day. Hope I will only pop after her birthday so that I can celebrate her birthday with her....

reira, if i'm not wrong labour ward's nurse will insert pill for me instead of my gynae..so if u wan to induce at night then mayb u can chk wif ur gynae see how.

normally playpen got this attachment which allows u to place the mattress higher.. this attachment can be remove later when bb gets bigger...

u dun have the bassinet(level 1) for ur playpen?

i will be using the bassinet for my playpen too...

if u find using bassinet is still too low...just buy 1 or 2 pc of mattress to stack up higher lor...

i got 2 new pcs of mattress to stack up higher so i need not bend down too low to put/pick up my bb...
 
Hi all

Have disappeared for a long time due to laptop's keyboard spoilt by my #1. she took out the P and my spacebar is not working so nvr post in here.

Have been working and walking like crazy due to my new hotel opening so alot of hardwork to do. Going on ML on monday so now stay in office very free can post.

I also using playpen for #1. Will be using it for #2 also. FInd it quite gd cos when they are older and we are busy we can leave them inside to play. Don't have to scare they knock here and there....

You'll be discharged today? Yesterday when i left, i was at the taxi stand waiting for my ah lao .. there was suddenly a long queue of new mamas, all just discharged and carrying their newborns .. quite a sight

my pelvic pain on the left is much worse today.. wondering if its because of baby's head.. cos her backside is on my right and she feels slanted.. dunno if her head is pushing down on that particular part of pelvic thats why more pain..

Just saw ur post on pelvic pain. Not sure if u have the same case as me.. but my gynae said that b/c my BB's weight is mostly on the left side.. then it will pull the ligament on the right side of the groin, hence the pain is on the right side.
 
Mummies who had given birth,
Are your experiencing some sort of funny thoughts racing through your mind at times? When pregnant, i miss the time when i was not pregnant. Now after delivering, i am missing the times when i was pregnant. I even miss the whole labour process! I guess its due to the hormal changes in our body but i really hate these feelings coz its so mental torturing at times. Heard that this is common n will hit first time mums more. Mummies who had experienced before, plz advise. Thanks!

piggy thats what i scared lor... scared she aim wrongly ah! ahahha... maybe i should start pushing her backside towards centre then her body alighned...

jul: hmm... maybe also..... her weight has always been on the right, but i never notice if the pain at the pelvic/ groin has been more at which side.. generally it hurts.. only today the left side more obvious..

actually i am having this funny feeling also lol but i havent gave birth leh!!!! now already a bit sad that Zachary won't be in my tummy anymore in a few days time. i love his movements! but at the same time, so excited to carry him in my arms.

its like i am not totally mentally prepared to be mommy yet... haiz scared donno how to bring him up.

Yaya... Its definitely a joy to have them in our arms ;p Just that those funny thoughts can get quite mental torturing at times. No worries, its normal. My friends even become more teary or hot-tempered after delivering. Just tell yourself that we got to be strong and of course, coming in here helps alot too! :p Jia You! Saw that you might be popping this weekend, all d best to you!! ;p

most of the time i cant feel Zachary's movement leh. must be because my tummy skin too thick liao! so when i can actually feel his movement, i find it fun and will play "catching" his knee then he will have reaction hahaha

yesterday i read ST's mind your body, they talk about baby have to move 10 times a day if not there might be a risk of still born (baby dead inside). wa lao so scary!! till now i still donno how to count! he got move can already.
