SBB: the pain not as intense as this morning liao... but have it off and on.. i think its really my assistant..
reira: yah lor.. sian lor.. when my 1st assistant said she was leaving we so sad, cos she pick up things and do thigns very fast.. her reason for quitting was "nothing to do"... its not we dont give her work to do, she does it too fast!
dolce: wah.. so good! such a short labour!
my husband dislocated his arm b4, so to put it back, they gave him pethidine shot.. then gas.. so i was joking then "ok sir, u are ready to give birth u can push liao.." hahah... then i ask him, which one better, should i take or not..
he say the gas really make him feel gong gong.....

bb is safe n sound..
smart boi can recognise daddy's voice.. he was cryin so hard last nite.. but when daddy ask him dun cry, he immediately recognise n stop crying.. hubby recorded the whole event.. so funie..
i am okie so far.. wound hurt alittle but not so bad afterall..

oh wow... your labour is really a hard one. glad that both of you are fine! does your hubby talk to baby a lot when he was in your womb? i am like the only one who talk to my baby leh... only sometimes hubby will sing/read book when i ask him to.

haha i am dead le lah. cos some of the cabinet door in my room cannot be opened (like overlap with other built-in boxes on the floor) *faint* i wonder if i can just open all the cabinet door and not those built-in boxes on the floor? @_@ argh.

not really leh. his dad tok to him occasionally only.. more of recently actually..
he didnt open his eyes after last nite.. but just now when i was carryin him n toking to him.. he tried so hard to open his eyes to look at mi.. peek alittle n close back.. then tried to open n peek again... the lights were too strong for his eyes..

Reira and when they place the baby on your chest u dun BF her / him yet ... for me i dun dare to touch the baby cos my baby come out blue blue like smurf LOL .... after that they will clean her up a bit, weigh and measure her ...
my baby took long time to come to me in the ward I super kan cheong to see her. She is placed in the warmer tats why took long time to see her in the ward

she was finishing her work faster than we could give her... then she was new mah, so we also dare not scare her away by getting her to do so much more work...
this new one.. i work in social services, she is doing a course in social services now too.. I mentioned to her "MCYS"... she look at me and blink and ask what is MCYS? I peng.. i told her they are our big big big boss..
one week later, during another hand over session again i mention MCYS ( see they are that importasnt that i keep mentioninig them)... again *blink blink* what is mcys? important or not?
i admit, i dont have much patience to teach pple.. i dont like to repeat myself too often. If i repeat once, ok nvm... but 2 to 3 times... that person must also take initiative to rememebr what..
just to be safe, i spent the whole afternoon drafting a workflow of the things i do, so she can just follow since she didnt write anything down when i told her...

oh, i saw someone post about baby's skin and that layer of white substance over it..
I read in a book today, they say the vernix (thats the whitish substance), doesnt need to be cleaned or rubbed away, they say leave it, let the skin absorb.. its very good for baby skin but never say why...
