hahah actually thru out my preg i drink mostly cold drink...cos doc alr say mah cold drink reach our stomach will not be cold liao so no issue... but i seldom drink cold drink in front of my MIL... but she seems ok with me drinkin cold drink cos weather so hot..

i dun like pp esp those stall owner to nag at me 1.. tt day also i order lime juice den this auntie say wah u preg still drink this drink soya milk better mah.. den another auntie i order my food saw me wear fittin t-shirt also nag say preg cannot wear tight wait baby dun grow!! wth... i simply bth...

must really take mrs wong words with a pinch of salt...
nowadays so many kids with asthma...cold drinks is one of the cause lor...
agree if we can restrict ourself is ok...then is ok
if go TCM...TCM will tell u no cold drink at all thruout preggi...
my mum is worshipper of TCM lor......
i come across an article in email stating why TCM restrict cold drinks in ladies...cos our womb is within our body(need warmth) ...
whereas the guys have it outside as "it" need a cooler place...

for me only the 1st trim i dun touch after tt i bochap keke... cos Sg so hot i cant tahan drinkin warm water in hot weather keke..

so ur gynae is going away during NDP? mine is quite certain i will hv NDP baby.. but i will be seeing him next week again... not dialted yet.. sigh..
feel so sleepy now...

u mean NICU for different bedders also cost differently? after all they are in the same nursery mah? at least that is what i think lar... this applies to govt hospital or also affect pte hospitals?

i am forever taking cold drinks.. dun really care lar.. weather so hot.. will only resume to taking hot drinks after #2 is out

i abstained from cold drinks for my #1 preg, he still got asthma. So don't think it's due to cold drinks. This time round i heck care liao since drink or don't drink also can get asthma.

piggy: my gynae is the one who gave me the green light to drink cold water cos he says by the time past ur throat, esophagus and down to stomach then to baby, warm liao lor..
i b4 preggie wouldnt drink warm water one.. during preggie and even right now, also drinking cold water... hee..
tas: yeah.. in same nursery, kind of care received is the same, but charges different lor. If say they use a tube feeding set for one A class patient and a C class patient, the A class one will pay A class rate and C class one will pay C class rate lor..

I am now week 38 and day 1. next Sun is my EDD.
Think i muz cut down on my food, to prevent bb from growing...but yet, i get so hungry every 1-2 hr.
Next week, i starting my ML, working until this fri.

This morning went to my Week 38 Day 5 check up. As expected, Zachary is now 3.2kg and got a BIG HEAD!! It is estimated to be 34cm. Dr Wong said that baby's head is roughly 32 - 33cm when born. If before next monday I haven't pop, meaning that I will be induced that day (Week 39 Day 5 check up_ cos Zachary will definately be 3.4kg by then! These 2 weeks I already controlled my diet but he still manage to gain 200g a week. I've been walking a lot but cervix is not open yet. Luckily that Dr Wong said that my pelvic bone doesn't feel narrow at all, so should be able to give birth naturally.
Today, I check with Dr Wong regarding Strep B. Seems that no matter what, I will be getting IV strep B antibiotic during labour even tho I already finish the oral antibiotic. T_T How I wish I didnt need to take the oral pills *hate pills*

i am now having this pain, at the spot where dr told me to note... the area feels tight, and i feel intermittent pain.. some lasting for few secs, some for 20 secs..
i dont know if its ocntractions or not... about 4 to 5 mins apart.

BabyS!! I also think so lor... Especially I hate to eat pills de... *sob sob* Felt like crying when she said I still need the IV drip. Today I asked Dr Wong about my suan suan feeling... then she said thats not contraction. I am so confused that I didnt check with her if thats BH. But she said that when I get contraction, I will know! Cos it will be very painful.

For those who want to know about my brazillian wax experience today. Took about 1 and a half hour to finish cos it is uncomfortable for me to lie down flat for a long period of time!
Overall the session is great. Ofcourse it was painful when the hair was being pulled out, especially the center part... ouch!!! but after a few seconds, the pain go away already. I checked with the lady, for new customer the trial price is $38. But she won't be taking any customer from 3rd Aug - 22th Aug cos she is taking a break.

For those who want to know about my brazillian wax experience today. Took about 1 and a half hour to finish cos it is uncomfortable for me to lie down flat for a long period of time!

whoa! your baby is 3.5kg now? May I know your height? Mine is 3.2kg and I really worried. =( I asked if can induce on 1st Aug but Dr said can wait till 3rd Aug then induce. I am telling Zachary to come out on 1st Aug. Should be slightly lighter than 3rd Aug bah... maybe easier to push out than 3rd Aug too haha altho only 2 days difference.

Jul, i understand how u feel cos i am in that kinda situation at times too... and worst still when my management need certain things to be ready within the same day, we are all working like hell... overtime, i have learn to take it easy and just do my part... hope u r feeling ok with work.. try to do whatever u can and go back rest, i am sure ur bb and ur proper rest is more impt.
