Ya, for the past few appts, ah wong always tell me the position of bb's head and then will turn to my hubby and tell him 'BB turn down already but dun worry, no signs of labour yet, cos he's still quite high up. If i scan here (proceed to use the scanner to scan at my pubic area) and i can't see bb's head, dat means can get ready liao'

For a first time mum, i would suggest that you need not bring the pump coz ur dude needs time to learn how to latch n u being so tired after a tedious journey, you would definitely not have any usage of d pump which was what that happened to me. my hubby happily packed in the breast pump when he was packing my hospital bag and in the end, i have no use of it. N as what d doc n nurses told me, newborns have 3days of food reserve in their stomach, thus glucose would be sufficient for them.

I also shaved nicely before I went down to hospital, however at the observation ward, d nurse just opened a shaver n started to shave. think she just action action only. or maybe, there is that particular area which we can't manage to shave ourselves.

actually I took out the toy for my nephew to play, he just started to walk and like to disturb my doggie. He's the one who gave the toy to my doggie de. then my doggie hide under the table with the toy!

I wonder why the hospital here wants to shave for us huh? after the BW, I noticed that the skin down there will "stick" to the underwear. It's not so good leh, imagine the epi wound sticking to the pad! aiyo!!!

actually also have to worry about BB snatching the doggie's toy. yesterday my nephew took my doggie's ball and stuff it into his own mouth. think he is trying to imitate my doggie!

Hi all,

Moi just returned from doc's checkup. Doc said bb may come earlier. Supposed to be due on 16 Aug, but doc said may be before N-day. Which means I have only 2 weeks left! Already not eating much but baby miraculously gained 0.3kg. Now he estimates bb to be 3.1kg. If really due, wonder how hard I have to push man!

Those married and hve kids colleagues in my office was saying i might give birth any time now bec they say my stomach is very low !!..hahahaha...

Im also having very sore down there..hurts with every movement i made, esp when turning in bed.....ouch

Hahaha ... yr nephew so cute! This reminds me of a clip from America's funniest home video ... a toddler was following the family dog in the garden and when the dog cock up it's leg to mark at the tree, the little toddler did the exact same thing!!!

I wonder if my Ovann will imitate my dog and start to squat and pee?

i read somewhere dat in TMC they use huggies n fitti...for bb smaller than 3kg, use fitti...for bb bigger than 3kg, use huggies

i already breastfed my gal in the PD's clinic. hahaha. So guess you'll need to do that too when u go for the 1st visit after being discharged. My hb was more paiseh than me and was trying to cover me up with the bb's blanket.

U can get those low cut v necks or wrap tops lor. If still feel paiseh, wear a cardigan over it, so when your bb bf, u can use the cardigan to cover. Alternatively, can use bb's blanket to cover.
