Good morning all,
Went for gynae checkup yday to enquire abt the sharp pain. Gynae mentioned that its bec the pelvic bone are expanding to allow more space for the baby head to be engaged. So I MIGHT deliver next week.
He mentioned that I must keep track that baby move at least 10 times, different point of the day and to watch out for 1)show, 2)waterbag burst 3)contraction. Next apptm is 27Jul ( Mon ) n he would do VE to see if ive dilate and from there will decide if baby need to be induce or to stay another week.
Also baby has grown very fast ( maybe due to my durian feast on mon..hehe..though I didnt mention this to my gynae ). From 2.5kg last mon, to 3.18kg yday !!!!!

an update: less than 24 hrs to go, tomorrow this time will be prep & ready for C sect. getting really excited & nervious at the same time.
Zachary is 2.6kg as of yesterday pre ops work up, +- 200gm for scanning margin.

have CL mah. So can relax a bit. My job now is just to eat, feed & pump.
Now my hb is having some cuddling time with my gal. He hardly has time for her coz when my boy comes home, he'll stick to him like glue.
And last night she slept with me on bed so was very much easier. She didn't even wanna wake up to drink milk. Then in the middle of the night, i wake up to see her staring at me. hahah.
My gal has a really independent character. She refuses to let me guide her to my breasts. She must do it herself. She'll flick her head backwards, open her mouth wide and chomp onto my breasts. hahaha. But many times she misses coz her control of her head is still not that strong yet.

Previously didn't know if i can sustain my milk supply, so since now everything seems to be going smoothly can go shopping again!

that time i went to c him with my original name.. he say ur name is bery bad.. haha dats y everything i do also no good.. 1yr after i change the name.. i had a new job with better offers den knew my hubby got married and now starting a small family.. so shld i say concidence?? hehe
if u have a name den u ask him whether the name matches the DOB and the strokes ok or not..

Opposite Thomson medical, near the overhead bridge, there is this shop.
We happen to pass by and ask them how much they charge for chinese names for bb. They said $88.
Inside the shop, there is this big poster of Zoe Tay, apparently she was a customerwith them, and used the baby hair to make into a chinese calligraphy brush.
anyone has previous experience with them?

Actually, i also worry that he might be too small but it seems that he is doing perfectly fine and he was certified fit to discharge on the same day with me. Thank GOD for that!
Oh ya, my birth process was reall short and sweet! Last Thursday afternoon around 12pm, i felt some water dripping when i went to pee pee. It happens twice and i got a little worried but still i don't want to believe that my water bag was leaking. i rang up the clinic and was told to go down to the clinic for Ah Wong to check. i arrived at 2pm n Ah Wong did a VE and told me that my water bag had burst already n i was 1cum plus dilated! Gosh, i was stunned! was told to go for lunch n admit around 4plus to be strapped to the CTG to listen to baby's hearbeat. Ah Wong came around 6plus to check on me again and she suggested inducing me as my dilation was only 2cm. She was saying that i would most prob be giving birth around 2am. Around 10pm, the nurse did a VE for ma again and told me that i am only 2 to 3cm dilated. inside my heart, i was thinking that i am gonna have a long way to go and the nurse also told my hubby that given my situation, i would only deliver next morning. sianz! So, i was happily chit-chattinf with my husband till suddenly, around 11plus, i felt the contractions pain getting very intense and my hubby asked me if i wanted the laughing gas. he went to tell the nurse who in turn came in to do a VE for me and guess what, she told me i was 8cm dilated and fast approaching delivering my boy already! she told me not to push even if i feel an intense urge to push. Ah wong was informed immediately and by around 12.10, she arrived and i was guided how to breathe in n out n push. With 3pushes, my precious little one is out!

Yupu, my gynae was saying he will do VE for me in the next checkup to determine if i need to be induce. Otherwise my current situation is still ok for baby to still stay in.
My sharp pain only comes abt during late aftn/evening time.
Oh and my weight reduce slightly while my baby weight increase 600g!!
So he also mention to see how is mine n baby weight next checkup. If I continue to lose weight, then he might induce too....
Guess the pain is from the bone due to baby trying to be engage, however is the pain is too much to bear or is too persistant, think you have better check with your gynae on your situation. Afraid ours might be different case and im feeding you wrong info.

Sharon : you say " i felt some water dripping when i went to pee pee " . The feeling of water dripping is totally different feeling from pee har ? Because I worry I can diff up what is what and just avoid it .
Me sometime like hv water leaking out but after go toilet check is like " Bai Tai " (white white liquid)

Morning ladies..
Ytd went for my 34 weeks check bb weight very normal abt 2.1kg even though I have eat ‘mao san wan’ durian and even durian and chocolate cake over the pass 2 weeks..
But was a bit sad cos on week 32 and week 34 baby headdown leh so I cannot see her face.. cos during previous check my gynea will print out bb face for me to take home 1.. than my gynae see I like sad, say mayb print the pic of her kidney to let me bring home... alemak.. but on e other hand at least I know her kidney is functioning well la.. but izzit after 32 weeks we cant see bb face liao.. cos I ask my gynae, he says bb is at correct position.

oh my previous checkup be4 i also lose weight but the nex checkup i gain 2kg over 2 wk so on average for the entire mth i gain 0.5kg/wk..

jac : Dun worry my also cant see , at 32 week he already head down lor .34week I also cant see his face as his hand cover it dun leh me see . My gyne say still early head down still not as down as is time to give birth .

Sorry for the delay. Just bathed my boy. Now, he's lying down in his cot listening to nursery rhymes ;p its such a joy to see our cuties looking so happy and sweet!

My boy was certified perfectly fine to discharge on the same day with me ;p so, that means that a baby weight is not a big concern as long as he/she is healthy and strong to survive in the outside world.

Yup, i am doing my own confinement. Hubby helping me though and mum took half day leave occasionally to cook for me. Me and hubby don't feel comfortable having a stranger(confinement lady) in our house and my mum is working. Nevertheless, i also wanted to be a more hands-on mum right from the start. Am somebody who can't sit still ;p

Hi ladies, sorry went MIA for awhile! Yesterday dig out all the stuffs I bought for Zachary and today is organizing haha. Else I sure miss some of the stuffs I bought and let it sit there for ages. I wonder wheres the mentos I bought about 6 months ago *think*.

The FS master also got online service to name baby, that one is $160 but you don't get to see the master and there will not be in depth detail of how baby's life will be (or something).
I have no ideal who calculate where to shift the merlion wor. The FS master we went to is Master Tan Khoon Yong. haha if we ever have #2, i think i won't go for this le. So expensive... but see how after seeing this FS master.
