Mashy thanks! how much fluids did you drink everyday?
With regards to your bb jaundice, why did you have to rent the equipment, I thought you can put your bb out in the morning sun?
 


Babys : I the one in black lor , my next appt is sat 1/8 , I see everyone bb is weight around 2.6-2.8 - 35week . Aiyo why my 2.2kg-35week doc still say good weight or small baby easy to push is it . So did doc tell u when you can delivery


last night cant sleep well until 5am , bb keep disturn me with kicking and turning .End up I have to take mc else I super tired how to work .Nowsday dun feel like working and I still have 3week to go for my ML .

Now thinking of dinner , too tired and lazy to go out . Eat instant noodles again...... abit feel bad for my bb eat so unhealthy food

Re the equipment, coz not enough sun lor. So have to rent equipment. And my place downstairs is very windy. Not ideal...

Babys : he alway give a answer like nvr give .heehee .Ya la say bb weight ok , but compare in forum like small leh , make me worry .So shld I eat more or normal.

Hi ladies, normally you just go to TCM to ask them to pack for you for confinement herb?
I checked with Fook Hua TCM, they don't have 生化汤 pack.
Eu Ren Shen charge $33 for 1 pack of 生化汤.

This week will be my 35weeks, going to get ready the herbs, pack hospital bag & wash more bb clothings.

i think you should get something like corn flake + fresh milk bah? or some other healthy food like wholemeal bread, oat? instead of eating instant noodles. but if you dont eat instant noodles much, then ok lah.

Not often eat only when too lazy to go and buy , I try to avoid the soup base Heehee .

Reira, 党参 & 当归 are expensive. Especially we need to drink 党参Red date tea everyday. Suggest you just give her a hong bao during your boy's full mth. Normally old people will not reject hong bao. Just tell them it is a token from you.

Well, ladies, thank God at least it is a smooth and stress-less delivery. And most important, it is fast and painless even with very little epidural used, considered that the whole pregnancy I had many stressful episodes and in and out of ER. And now confinement also stressful as at my ils place. Long story will share when it is convenient another time. So I need lots of mental power to stay positive and relax. Thank God for being my refuge and strength if not I will go crazy and end up having post natal blue.

Donkeymami, baby Ray is easy to handle, his cry is mild but my ils place is super noisy, I was really upset with dh. I told him I am going back to JW after confinement.

what is 生化汤? actually i dont remember what is what le (those herbs). all in fridge haha. but i know got one cost $70 for a pack (like wood wood de). i thought we will be drinking long gan red date tea everyday?

is yr hospital charging extra if u induce on national day? cos i heard some ppl opt to give birth on national day & they hv to pay a few thousands extra. tats y my HB has been hoping tat our baby comes out zhun zhun on edd & be first national day baby.

oh, today i received the welcome pack frm dumex. i also got the free changing mat.

re: FM
did any of u buy a tin of FM to stand-by jus in case not enuff breast milk? my HB said i shd buy 1 just in case.

dont buy FM at all lah. there is no in case one, you sure will have milk if baby latch on correctly. unless there is outside influence that cause ur milk supply to drop, else it will be demand = supply.

Hi,

I am back from gynae 's visit, i gained 1.5 kg over 1 week *horrified*...gynae said..must control weight gain again.
bb is now 3.1 kg at Week 37 and 1 day. last week was 2.7kg.

Did the swab test for GSB or GBS test, muz pay extra $...i jokingly asked the nurse: this test not FOC ar? I tot package include everythg except supplements?

Also did an internal examination, cervix not open yet.

Next visit (next Mon), gynae will do the CTG monitoring, nurse said i must lie there for 20mins so that can monitor bb's heartbeat.

The contraction I am experiencing is also shortness of breath but I dunno what's the scale as I have never been strapped on CTG yet.If I didn't remember wrongly, 50 is very mild only.

Reira, you can change the PD's name on the admission letter one. Ah WOng put Dr Keoy so I ask her how come not the same as my boy's so she ask me to change it myself.
I suggest you latch your baby the 1st few days when there's only colostrum as its very little one. I scared you pump already cannot pour out anything lor as its really few drops nia.

need to check with you, have you done your strep b test yet? whats the result? i am so confused leh. donno why i have to consume oral antibiotics for this. read that it says the bacteria can always come back later if i ate antibiotics for it now. aiyo... so confused!

hmmm, my gynae estimate my bb to be 3.5kg at birth leh...
but now he only 2.5kg ...
gynae told me if bb too big, she might induce me early...

my gynae asked my abt my #1...
so i told her partial BF in hosp
and she written down the FM to be Nan HA for #2 to be feed in hosp...
cos she remember my #1 got ezcema...
