irene, oh yes, totally true!! there was one time the nurse even said dun push... i mean how to stop if I feel like it right?? But then no choice but to "control" ha ha

Mich, hahaha..the antenatal class is still good for 1st time mum lah. At least you do learn some although you don't practise most.
Yah, I remember after I was put on drip and gynae break my water bag, I already in great pain and I tell the nurse I got a feeling like something is coming out and I wanna 'gek'. That time I haven't even dilate fully.

suddenly remembered. my gynae said that it is like a drip that goes to my back? die le lah, really all the antenatal class knowledge all give back to Mrs Wong liao. haiz!
but still good to go for the classes just for the sake of it to make myself feels more prepared than not going!

morning all..went for my usual ctg monitoring today n had 2 contractions detected in less than 20mins of being strapped to the machine! The nurse still congrats me! -_-" but the problem is when the machine detect contractions the only thing i felt was abit breathless! No pain, no menses like feeling eh! But frm this morn till now i hav been havin tummy pain,like wana poo but nothin come out..but durin the ctg monitoring i did not feel any tummy pain....Oh my..2nd time mummies, r these false contractions aka BH only? Baby head was already engaged since week before...isit really 2wks after engaged will deliver?? help!!

think u could be having contractions...
but false ones aka BH will disapper when u shift ur position...
while real ones are those no matter which way/what u do ...the pain will be there...
u may not feel contractions at all(or think that is contractions) cos of diff ppl got diff threshold of pain...

every1 is diff.. like some of my friend once engage they deliver within a wk so depend no hard rules... u relax ok

whether u induce or not there r chances u will end up c-sect 1.. so far all my friend who induce quite smooth even if wait for signs to appear hor but u not dilating fast enough ur gynae will induce also 1.... so it depend on individual body also...

Pegsfur, gastric is in the middle of the tummy. Contraction pain is consistently there. But if its mild then should be ok. Ah Wong says if you can sleep with the pain then its ok.

Cherrios, yours sound abit like mild contraction. Should be very early kind. Coz I have this mild contraction pain for days already.
Hahaha...not fixed at 2 weeks after engaged lah. It just means can deliver but everyone is different so can be anytime from days to weeks.
Just go and pack your hosp bag and do up whatever you need and wait for more labour signs.
I have been cleaning the playpen, cutting my nails, packing my hosp bag as well as my no.1's bag should I really get a BIG sign.

Last time when i was in 39weeks, I had false alarm fr morninig till evening. Contraction started with 30min apart, then 20min, 10min, 5min, 3min. Already called gynae and he asked me go hospital. But the pain went off shortly aft the daddy last minute said wanted to change the baby's name. Gynae called me at 7pm+ how come I am still at home. Told him no more contraction liao!

kiki, yes, it really is the wanna poo feeling all the time. When I wasn't on epi yet, I spent most of the time in the delivery suite toilet cos I kept thinking I need to go!!

thanks gals! the tummy pain is gone for now..hope it stays this way..hehee..now hoping i will have more signs other from contractions cos i seriously really dun feel anything much from them...
the bloom shots all very nice!! initially thought can ask my dad to help me take when he come, cos he used to be a photographer, now retired...BUT my induction is scheduled on the date they are here...

i did once when i was 5 months preggy. den another mummy to be was doing it as well. she asked the therapist can she still do it b4 she give birth.. the therapist told she can still do it even days b4 she deliver so i think it shldn't be a problem?

mich, i will be a day short of 39wks by then. my docs actually wanted to induce me this sat, but I pushed back the date..hehe...
